This is great that every news have a good news if we are reading that some of country was accepting  bitcoin and this is one of the positive steps and we hope that even China or all of the country was easy to transact for all of us so we hope that all country continues to accept  bitcoin one of the currency  of the country because we are one of those beneficiary  for that.

There's a new project coming on the market (heard about it..) that aims to create some sort of marketplace where most cryptocurrencies are accepted and it's going to be a faster way of exchange, a simpler way of doing trading or other operations with cryptos. I think it's a cool initiative and it might result in something truly great..

It will only help to create more awareness about the bitcoin. I doubt this will have any bullish effect on the BTC price. We need real use case and one that could store it and use it across millions of client and even form a core part of their business.

Have you heard of Virternity project?
I think that's close to what you are talking about.. I've been reading this blog post and it sounds interesting. (https://www.decentpropaganda.com/virternitys-distributed-exchange-network-could-put-crypto-exchanges-out-of-business/)
I am a bit skeptical but.. who knows?! Might actually work.

Re: where you are spending your most of time
by

None of the above..
I like spending most of free time out, in the nature, enjoying what's left from the environment, discovering new places full of colors, shapes and structure as much as possible untouched by humans.
There is a very short list of people that still enjoy nature.. and there is even a shorter list of places that are still close to what they used to be.
So instead of wasting your time on social media, do some good for yourself and go out to explore what's left from our Earth.. at least you have stories to tell your grandchildren.. about what it used to be and how beautiful it was.
Our planet is basically trading its followers to Instagram.. we only "love" the nature that shows up on our news feed..

Ohio accepts Bitcoin!

Hi guys,
I saw this article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/ohio-appears-to-be-first-us-state-to-accept-bitcoin-for-taxes-wsj-report
which is about payments allowed in the US state, Ohio, that allows tax payments with bitcoin.
It's really cool that everyday more and more states/countries are starting to allow cypto payments. There is a real potential here i guess.

I think that in the future we might or we should have also some sort of marketplace that allows buying/selling from bananas to cars with cryptocurrencies. Won't that be cool?

Re: When will politicians care about their people?
by
gb085

I think you're generalising a little bit too much. Of course it is very common in politics that the "power hunger" kinda shines through every now and then and it often seems that the only reason we have politicians is that they could be at each others throats and gloat who's better and richer and so on. But I believe or at least want to believe that in the end of the day there are a lot of politicians who really fight for their country's and people's well being, but maybe they don't always get noticed as much as these havoc wreckers.

Also, how would you see a country work without leaders? Without anyone who could actually be responsible for the decisions made? In a way anarchy seems cool and all "living without rules" yet wouldn't that conclude with "the purge" kind of a situation. As you stated "what can we do to change that other than killing them" also shows that this sort of an approach where everyone can just do whatever they want if they do not like something wouldn't be very sustainable.

What we can do (other than killing politicians  Smiley Smiley) is that we too can work towards our beliefs and do what is in our hands to make our country and its' people lives better. And even if we don't have the power to control the political situation we do have the power to make people surrounding us feel better and therefore make their lives better a little better do.

I think that instead of letting politicians do whatever they want once they reach power over a nation, we can actually stop voting for the same liars.. Or, if people get out on the streets would have a real voice and the power to say something, a world with no corruption or "bad politicians" can actually be achieved. Unfortunately people have become chickens in time and they think more about: "i want to live tomorrow as well" instead of doing something even that might cost their life in order for their children to have a better future.

When will politicians care about their people?
by
gb085
on 22/11/2018, 13:30:44 UTC
I have always been thinking.. in the corrupt countries or in countries where the government doesn't do much for its people, when will the politicians actually start to care about their people?
Is there a way to make them give a damn about us?
I feel that everything i see on the news is about another politician that is rich and enjoys his vacations in exotic places, or has bought another palace or expansive car and so on.
All the good politicians that have this amazing campaigns where they state: i'll help the poor, the needy, etc., once they reach power, the become blind, stupid and develop Alzheimer and forget about their promises.
What we, humans, can do to stop that? (Other than killing them all haha)
Is there a way to have leaders that care about our problems?

Re: Crisis in national parks!
by
gb085
on 22/11/2018, 13:24:09 UTC
When it comes to environmental crises, I think the national park has nothing to gain. The global climate is now beginning to go to extremes. The Arctic glaciers have begun to melt and Mount Everest has begun to melt. It may not be possible for the earth to survive for two hundred years. The sea is full of plastic garbage. In the future, our planet will become a garbage planet.

You are right.. and it's actually unfortunate that all this is true.
But why there is no world wide program to force people to actually do something! DO SOMETHING for the planet, for the environment, for themselves and their future generations!
I was reading a post on a social media channel that if every user of the platform will pick up a piece of trash from the ground everyday, the world will be cleaner in no time, and in one year the ocean plastic will be reduced to more than 50%..
I think that is a strong campaign that should be done and used for a "better place to live in"..
Not to mention the minimalist way of living which is basically how the future looks for people.

Crisis in national parks!
by
gb085
on 20/11/2018, 11:43:20 UTC
I almost cried reading this: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/nov/20/national-parks-america-overcrowding-crisis-tourism-visitation-solutions

I think it's very sad that we can't enjoy nature without having to sharing or trying to make our social media friends jealous of our experiences. I know it is cool to see amazing photos from amazing places but that's just too much. People tend not to understand that nature is made to be admired, honored and protected. Same goes for wildlife our any kind of life.

Is there a way things can change in the future? Will people become more aware about the Earth's needs?

What could be the best thing tech will do for humanity?
by

I've been thinking lately that people are continuously developing different kinds of technologies that increase automation and are beneficial for some sectors. But what will be the best thing created that will actually help people overcome diseases for example, or mental problems or social issues?

Re: Future of Technology ??
by
gb085
on 19/11/2018, 21:35:05 UTC
What you think about the future of technology?
In my opinion technology is getting obsolete very quickly. For example just few years ago people were using GPRS in their mobile, then they shifted to Edge Technology then now a days people are talking about 3G and 4G/LTE Technology.
Same applies to all kind of technologies. First people were watching TV, then LCD, LED  now OLED, Curve, 3D and 4D.
What you see after 20 years ?

I think tech is innovating faster than people can actually realize and scientists and tech companies actually have future innovations in their pockets but are waiting for the perfect moment, a moment when people will be acclimatized with "what's new" and a time when people won't criticize that much if for example we will be able to merge into a virtual world and continue our existence.
As for what comes next?
Tech is unpredictable and also it is based on need and demand. So, if for the last 6 months there was a need of robots that cook pasta, there we go, go buy one in Walmart.

You can simply delete your phone agenda.
by
gb085
on 15/11/2018, 12:16:22 UTC
Who uses their phone agenda anymore?
Have you been calling someone on their real phone number recently?
I think there is a huge drop on that. People now use Facebook Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp, Viber and there could be many more other apps for calling using the internet.
For me for example, i only have a sim card and a phone number just because i use the internet from the phone provider. But nobody anymore calls me on my real phone number. I can't think of the last time a friend actually called me on the phone number. Oh, only the advertising, promoter, trading, investments, crypto markets are still calling me on the number and i always reject the call and then block the number.
So, what do you think ? Should we just delete our contacts from the phones? The trend is not going to go back anyway.
I guess tech is just so much further than we even expected.

Re: What do you think about online dating?
by
gb085
on 13/11/2018, 23:32:11 UTC
Online dating is a thing.. until you meet the person behind the photos. Sometimes there is really a huge difference which matters. People have the tendency to show their best on those profiles instead of being their true self.
Also, for women is hard to actually accept a date because the profile might be fake and you don't know in how many pieces you will be chopped at end of the date.
So i guess, online dating sites should do a better job by implementing some AI that could sort things out and maybe a psychology test should be made to see if people have dark thoughts.
Could that work? AI for better dating experiences?

Re: Why are some people still skeptical about climate change?
by
gb085
on 13/11/2018, 23:19:38 UTC
I think people don't really understand the whole concept of climate change. At first it was about global warming, it didn't work, people didn't understood what that is really about. Then, it was about climate change, not many know what that is also. Something more convincing should be promoted to people in order to make them believe that what the environment suffers from mankind mass destruction is going to affect themselves, their children and the whole world. The problem here is: what about the ones saying: i don't care. we will die anyway. How do we convince those? Maybe with aggressive advertising or real situations.
I saw today a post on Facebook with a polar bear crawling, very skinny, starving, etc. My heart melted. But for those that don't care, how do we make them more emphatic to this matter?

Re: VR enthusiasts

if you have some.. let's say fantasies that you don't want to brag about wide open in front of the world and you can't fulfill them without harming others, is VR the place to get satisfaction?

What, like a crime? I would be very concerned if someone says they have fantasies about doing something that will cause harm to other people. Even if it's in VR, it's still not something you should be "fantasizing" about.

I was thinking more regarding sexual, bondage stuff for example Smiley

Social media changes opinions
by
gb085
on 12/11/2018, 22:26:39 UTC
Social media became the place where people get informed on a daily basis. Some read the news, some find out fancy celebrities news, etc.
But what about the comments people read?
Did it ever happened to you to scroll Facebook and see a title that you agree with and then start reading the comments/other's opinions and just start thinking that they are actually right and you have been wrong your whole life?
I think social media has it in hand today to just change people's opinions or political options. Do you think some sort of filter would be beneficial for us, users? Using AI to remove any post that could influence someone else's opinion? Can that do good or bad?

Social fundraiser
by
gb085
on 09/11/2018, 21:04:57 UTC
Hi,
I have organised a fundraiser over Facebook for a kid with autism whose parents can't afford paying for his treatments and in 3 day i have only made few euros.
How can one raise awareness about something like that? How do you convince people to increase their "life karma points" and press the donate button?
