...........................

I have unplug the board last night, and replug it this morning, without any result. The board is not hot at all. There is absolutely no burn mark on the board.

Here is the CGMiner API log (a few minutes after a restart of tplink) (for information, error rate is 0 because of tplink reboot; after many hours i have never seen error rate over 0.1%, most of the times it is between 0.01 and 0.08) :

..............

Try change the frequency to 230 or 240 & the voltage to 1000. If the board still not hashing, then that board is ruined.

Still not hashing at 230/1000 and 240/1000...

Is it possible that only one A1 chip is dead ? In this case, maybe i can still use it with the good chip mask.

From your first cgminer api log, all chip is not hashing. So chips mask not gonna work.

You're right...
Maybe it is just a little transistor or resistor, i will try to identify it, but i have'nt seen any burn mark on the board.

Is marto74 offering a kind of warranty on this ? Cheesy

I have just realized that this board has been hashing for one year exactly (first hash on feb 21, 2014, last hash on feb 21, 2015)... strange coincidence...

Hi all,

I have a problem with an HEX8A1 board.

I have two HEX8A1 boards. I have change the fans since it was way too noisy, and i use a 220/920 setting. The two boards are linked to a TPlink router with openwrt ("OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r40295", i think it is a 0.3.0) through an USB hub. All (tplink and boards, hub is not externally powered) are powered with the same Corsair CX760.

This was working like a charm for the last 6 months. But since two days now, one of the board is not hashing anymore.

Everything looks fine, the board is seen by cgminer, when i plug/unplug it i can see the board disappearing/reappearing, but the hashrate is always 0. The second board is working and hashing. The led are the same on the two boards.

I have tried to plug only one board, i have tried 210/860, i have change the usb port, i have plug the faultly board directly to the TPlink, i have reset settings to 260/1000, but nothing worked.

I don't think it is a overheat problem, cause the fans are identicall on the two boards, and with those fans and settings the boards seems cooler than with the noisy sunon and 260/1000 settings (i can put my finger on the it for more than 10s Wink). Moreover, i have a very very low error rate, and i did not change anything on the configuration for the last 6 months (and the room is at 18°).

Any idea ?
How can i see if it is a overheat problem ?

Seem like hardware problem. Try to let the board cool down for few hours, check if there is any hardware burn mark. Then try again. Then please post cgminer api log.

What is strange to me is the PICVoltage that is always 800 for the faulty board (i can see this with putty and cgminer output too ...). This let me think of a power problem, this is why i have tried with only the faulty board, without any success.

Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 -240 GHs Coincraft A1 board- Finished production

Thanks for the guide.
Juste a question : i have an old version of openwrt ("OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r40295"), i think it is a 0.3.0. It is working very well, but i'm using a DHCP configuration.
I want to update to 0.4.0, should i change network mode to static configuration ?
When i'm going to the "Network/interfaces" screen, and i select "static", i cannot immediately set the new address, i must click on a "Switch protocol" button. If i click, will it not reset the address immediately, making the tplink not acessible ?

Later shipping date?

Good intuition, but with today's price drop, ROI is far far away anyway.

I don't know if this has been answered before - sorry I didn't read 40 pages worth of posts.

Why are 2 130GH miners cheaper than 1 260GH miner?

Anyway, shopify or whatever is not of my concern, i simply see that the website is almost unreachable. Changing the DNS when i want to reach this or this website is simply not a viable solution.
You're correct. We need to track down and solve this problem.
Setting DNS to Google servers is a good practice anyway. You won't need to change back after visiting our store.

i'm at work now, so changing DNS is not possible, and at home my box already point on google DNS.

I have the same problem. After contacting my ISP and doing some troubleshooting their hosting provider seems to be blacklisting a bit to many IP's.
With another customer, we've tracked the problem to his ISP DNS.

Please try to set your DNS to Google's DNA:
Primary: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4

Indeed, we're using Shopify e-commerce platform.

Working right now !!

That said, paid hosting will be available to all customers once the DC is ready

Regarding hosting:
You'll be able to order now and add the hosting option later.
The shipment cost will be credited towards the hosting.
Hosting will allow full control of your machine.
At any point, you may decide to terminate hosting and to ship the machine or just disconnect it.
If you'll decide to host, the burn-in tests will be to your wallet.

Only 6 bundles left for April + July
Go http://buyminer.io

Well you said that hosting was an option to April + July bundle and I made a buy based on that decision. I hope there are no problems getting the hosting for April SP10.

Also April + July had free shipping so there are no shipping cost that can be credited but I thought that you were not making more money from us if we decide to host instead of ship and so your post implied that we would get some free hosting as well.

Website is continuously down...

I can, but this is not really "user friendly". And a blocked IP is a very bad sign for company's trust...

Is this update "mandatory"?
I mean my hex8 is working perfectly (more than 1 month now, no reboot at all, with default settings 260@1000 and almost no HW error), what will i gain with this update?

USE BIGGER LETTERS PLEASE
and you will get every day!

My apologies to all too, I wish it could have been done in a different manner.

I have been refunded and i did not use the "huge red letter" method...
So you can apologize, but would be better to not spam this topic.
