Not sure if you are aware but nova exchange are offering free listing for former Cryptopia listed coins, I believe Cryptopia was the only exchange that Dinasty coin was listed on, maybe it is worth a ask

Greetings Georgyous,

thank you for the tip!

Dinastycoin can currently be traded on Cryptonote.Exchange and BTC-Alpha

We are currently working on new listings to get us more spread out along the exchanges!

Make sure you join our Discord for the latest News and Infos. We were working hard behind the scenes, there`s good stuff coming Smiley

Have a great day!

Best Regards,
Bill

Hi Bill, apologies, I wasn't aware of the 2 other exchanges, been really busy the last year of so and those are "newer exchanges", as I was mentioning, I am "not entitled" to request the listing as one of the dev needs to do it, I though it was worth mentioning(I have no affiliation with Nova exchange, I am just a user and I believe they sent that email to all users)

Keep up the good work

Regards,
Georgyous

It is better to stay away from them.

Could you elaborate on the why? I am genuinely interested

I think you are smart enough to understand the situation, Conan will never come back.
Is better to use your knowledge and experience in more stable projects.

At least i can agree with you on the part that Conan doesn't come back. Sure, everything is possible but i'd be really surprised if he did and i also don't understand the personality cult about him.

"Better" is a very relative and subjective thing though. To me "better" is what i like doing Cheesy

Crex24 allready did say that they move 1.3.1

Are you the one who posted this on discord too (sorry i forgot)? What's the source of that statement? No bad intentions. I am seriously interested.

Yes im, i did contact support, explain what happen, they have brain also, why would they wanna stay in 2.0?

I see. Let's hope they keep their word then.

Regarding staying with 2.0 or simply delisting: Well there could be several reasons. For one it could be simple policy to only act on developer input. Never underestimate the power and stupidity of bureaucracy... Also as i explained above a rollback leading to coins they are controlling disappearing seems like a very messy situation for them. At least it seems this way to me. Maybe they got this all figured out already. I really don't know.

Edit: Is anyone able to test if it's possible to deposit 1.3.1 coins? Crex24 site does not work for me.

Edit2: If it's possible to deposit 1.3.1 coins did they also remove the mass amount of fake 2.0.1 coins from circulation (ie. is a plausible amount of coins for sale)?

From my point of view a more clean way of dealing with it from a exchange point of view would be this (simple example to make a point, do not take the numbers literal):
exchange 1
- 1000000 - coins in current users balances (basically in the 2.x chain and includes fake coins, whatever)
- 10000 - coins in the exchange wallet after downgrade and resync the wallet from scratch (coins in the 1.x version)
- 1000000/10000 = 100 this is the value to which the balances need to be devided by
- user 1 balance 500 now -> will have 500/100=5 after downgrade

exchange 2 might be different
- 100000 - coins in current users balances (basically in the 2.x chain and includes fake coins, whatever)
- 50000 - coins in the exchange wallet after downgrade and resync the wallet from scratch (coins in the 1.x version)
- 1000000/50000 = 20 this is the value to which the balances need to be devided by
- user 2 balance 500 now -> will have 500/20=25 after downgrade

Is this fair to everyone?
Most likely not

Will everyone be happy with this approach?
Most probably not

Is it simple to implement?
Most probably yes as most exchanges have such possibility as it is more or less the same path used when there are swaps (swaps that need to be done in place without changing the ticket )

Is is a win - win or win - loose or loose - loose situation?
Most likely it is at the border between loose - loose and win - loose, but at least it does not loose the exchanges and does not make absolutely all coins worthless and without any exchanges

What do you gents think?

As I see it, a community takeover is already happening, as community members are organising to fix the problem.

This is the spirit of crypto, decentralised and community driven

You never know what happens, cryptos are so unpredictable, that is why it is not for people with a weak heart. For the moment although price has gone down I see trading happening, the network is working the price is solely based on "what people chose to believe as being the future"

Hello,

Either I am missing something or there is a issue with the chain

I just got the code from git and compiled, synchronizing from scratch. It gives the following error, in my experience this is due to some issue with the difficulty calculation.

Hi, thanks for the info. We are investigating.
In the meantime you can download latest blockchain from https://blockchain.pluracoin.org/ and replace the blockchain files on your drive with these ones.

Hi Thanks, that worked.

by

This other block explorer that you mentioned is not working either!  The only thing it says is the current block height.  If you search for a block and click on it, all the information is blank!  There is no transaction information, no block reward information, and no number for the current amount of outstanding coins.  So, no, this is not a "fully working"  block explorer.  If this is good enough for Cryptopia not to delist it, well, ok then, but someone should get a block explorer for BitCoal that is actually working!  Don't act like everything is ok and you can't lose your value of these coins!  There was already a huge dump of the price on Cryptopia in the last few weeks.  If you devs don't get on the ball, and fast, the price is going to go to near zero!

Mate the problem is with your computer, or your internet connection, not sure what does not work for you, I just used the last mined block as an example:
https://imgur.com/a/53qvjlE

I don't really know why the image is not showing in the thread the link is https://imgur.com/a/53qvjlE

Don't know if you noticed but all crypto prices are down at the moment so there is no surprise that this coins is down also.

I tried to ask you nicely to change the attitude, this is the last reply that I will give you as I don't have time to waste, change the attitude, do you homework and we can talk more.

One things that I failed to mention is that I am no way associated with this coin, I am not a developer or anything, just a community member.

The block explorer at http://democats.org/blockchain/?name=bitcoal  is broken.  The page comes up but no numbers or blocks display.  Someone had better get a working block explorer fast, or else Cryptopia is going to delist this coin.  Cryptopia has been delisting coins left and right if they don't have a working block explorer or have other technical problems.  If Cryptopia delists this coin, your coins will be almost worthless.  Someone needs to either fix this block explorer, or get a different one working right now.  Where are the dumbass devs?  Why aren't they paying attention to crap like this?

Mate, stop panicking, this coin is not going away any time soon and Cryptopia has not reason to delist it.

I understand that you are more or less new to crypto(based on your rating on this forum), but no need to initiate panic on other new comers.

I know the coin is community driven so everything that is done is by one person or another, is by their good will, you can't "demand" for someone to do something in this situations, if you ask nicely maybe someone will help.

Many pools have block explorers builtin, especially the ones that are using "cryptonote-forknote-pool" as a software, here is one example http://coal.mypool.online/#blockchain_blocks , fully working block explorer

Hello,

Does anyone else get a seg fault on forknote with the provided config?, it stays a few seconds, it syncs completely and then it crashed with a seg fault.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

It's only on linux... I'm looking for solution...

Thanks for the confirmation. Yes it is on linux. At least I know I am not doing something wrong and it is reproducible.
