Is it too much to hope for that Apple allows Dash back on Jaxx? How can they justify allowing Zcash and not Dash? Maybe one the VCs behind Zcash lobbied Tim Cook?
There is no way to audit Zcash. It is entirely possible some person or agency can secretly generate an arbitrary number of coins. It is entirely possible some person or agency will soon discover a way to secretly generate an arbitrary number of coins.

It's an academic article, albeit one somewhat associated with Zcash developers. The findings scan legitimate to me, but I'm sure it will be ignored by XMR communities.
Maybe the Monero and Zcash folks will eat each other up like the Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat. That would be capital!

I would diversify by buying more Dash.

We need to start calling these trolls "Crypto Justice Warriors." From what I can tell they feel it's NOT FAIR that Evan through his ingenuity and hard work created all these millionaires. Maybe if he did this while working at Goldman Sachs it would be ok?

All of the trolls are all members of the larger pump & dump crews. This whole crypto ecosystem is a play ground for all these guys. They pretend to care and doing this to warn "people" of the terrible things of this or that. Its all bullshit. Its very well planned strategies of fud and market manipulation that is being fueled by market movers. Its all a smoke screen for a much bigger plan.
Its so transparent that its comical. The only victims are those investors that are unsophisticated and are left holding bags of all sorts of coins these scum bags manipulated, all the while pretending that they CARE about fundamentals...the law and justice. Its all BULLSHIT! Be careful investors.

1500 BTC in numerous buy positions on for several hours to make people believe there is buy support...then boom, the buy positions disappear. and the dumping starts. Yawn! So predictable its becoming boring.

Holy Smokes...what a post! Thanks for the link. I'm going to have to go over that story in detail. Exactly what I've been thinking has been going on in ALL these coins...BITCOIN included the whole time.
I have been thinking something for a while, but I didn't bring it up because maybe I'm being paranoid. It seems to me that all this pumping of random coins seemed to start just as Dash was mooning (Dash was rising for good reason, btw). Is it possible that some nefarious group with deep pockets is attempting to obscure the rise of Dash by creating all this noise in the alt markets?

I am of the opinion that Lightning Network can't work. It's unwieldy. If it were feasible, it would be here already.
What IS workable is to have private, centralized payment systems for micro-payments that are funded and settled in crypto.

Lightning is already active on a testnet sidechain. Someone bought a beer with it. Just need segwit for it to work on main net.

The anti-Lightning FUD in the DASH community seems driven by Roger Ver's intrigues and sour grapes jealousy, not data or technical concerns.
Why don't you make a fork of Bitcoin, activate SegWit, and add Lightning Network for the purrr-fect coin. You'll make a fortune. The world is waiting.
I was actually joking with a friend the other day about releasing a coin called "Segwit." After a while we would release a fork called "Segwit Classic" with the Segwit removed.

Dash and LTC going up. The numbskulls that are allergic to Dash need something to latch onto.

Imagine you found a market where there are toons of "noobs" thinking they are pro traders. The market is thinly traded and illiquid. Wild swings are common, and there are no regulations at all. No SEC oversight, nothing.
Now imagine that as a Wall Street professional trader you have access to amazing software tools. Imagine that you have programs that watch all the margin-enabled markets on Poloniex. Imagine that these programs also watch the lending markets. Now imagine that the software correlates all of the trades on Polo with all of the lending that occurs on Polo.
Imagine that you therefore "knew" where all of the large margin positions were and because you knew at what price those orders were placed at, you knew their liquidation points. Look at the hockey-stick rise to .124. Most of the really huge green candles were most likely shorts being liquidated, including the rise from .11 to .124 itself. Look at yesterday's trading; that drop to .035 sure looks like a margin long liquidation to me.
Please trade carefully folks. I have a feeling that you're up against some of the best traders in the world. I think some Wall Street or City folks are finally starting to learn of the crypto markets.

That is not logical. Polo has invested a lot of money building their service, and their most valuable asset is their reputation. They are already making a lot of money, and their main concerns are not getting hacked, DDOSed, or overwhelmed by the volume of data they process. People smart enough to build Polo are not going to risk everything for a few extra bucks.
