My name is Kevin "Biomech" Putzier, General Manager of the GameCredits (formerly Gamers-coin) project. We have prior claim to the GMC ticker. Given the number of altcoins, I am proceeding from the assumption that you simply didn't know. Please choose a new ticker and inform your exchanges of the same. We are already well established with the GMC ticker, and would like to avoid confusion and conflict regarding this matter.

That is our hope as well. Given the proliferation of alts, it's quite likely simply an oversight.
It was an oversight on our part, and we will change our ticker to GRM. Thanks for letting us know!

Update 1.1.3
Sorry for the lack of updates.
Implemented a small 'fix' to the masternodes which should improve their stability.
As Hi-PoS comes to an end, we're happy to announce that Bittrex have given us a 1-4 day time line to be added to their exchange.
Wallet link has been updated in the ANN. Make sure you upgrade!

Bittrex seem to be taking their sweet time answering me on our add. I will be reaching out to them frequently without being too much of a nuisance!

I did really well on GridPay and not so well on GridCoin, this looks like stuffs happening though. When is it going on exchange so I can get atleast enough for a masternode?
We have contacted Bittrex for a paid addition. However, it would help very much if people tweeted their interest in this coin for addition to exchanges.

Version 1.1.2.0
Fixed some syncing bugs, but most importantly we have altered the emission schedule to reduce the Stake reward from 4000 per block after Hi-PoS to 50.
This is to mitigate the long term effect of hyperinflation where before, over 5 million new coins will come into existence PER DAY.
Please update your clients and for anyone running nodes, please update your daemon as from block 8201 only clients on version 1.1.2.0 will be able to connect.

The masternode system is not yet active, PoS begins at block 8640.

For all those having syncing issues, we're going to set up a few more seed nodes in the next day or so.
For now, please create a Gridmaster.conf file and add these nodes to it.

I tried it. Simple easy. Just click on maternodes. Then create local and have the coins needed and then its done. Then click start all.
linux vps could be a mn?
Yes, a linux vps is fine, source code will be released after addition to the exchange.

Thank you to all those who participated in the crowd fund, we're extremely appreciative for your support, and we will make sure to push out a road map detailing our next development points shortly after going live on an exchange.
In the meantime, we're going to contact the crowdsale administrator to get the coins distributed to all buyers accordingly and work on getting the coin added to Bittrex.
A block explorer will also be provided in the next day or so.
