Re: How to Identify Good Airdrops ??
by
goldexp83
on 14/02/2019, 15:02:34 UTC
I don't follow aidrops anymore as most of them its a waste of time

but I used to follow the many airdrop sites aggregetors and I think you need to understand who is doing the airdrop

try to target big projects with strong teams and backing by ventures capital if possible

Re: Hold GRIN coin? how'll its market evolve?
by
goldexp83
on 14/02/2019, 04:40:01 UTC
I see many miners getting excited about grin coin, famous one like James Loop event tweeted about it

Also small meetups, gatherings and conference are popping up and people start to talk about it

Even exchanges like Kucoin and other small but popular ones have started to list grin coins

I don’t hold any grin, but keeping an eye on it

Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency
by
goldexp83
on 11/02/2019, 13:29:33 UTC
I think they are both the future of crypto currencies as their are currently the main project drawing the most attention, funding and development

of course there’s a lot of competition but the position gathered by both is remarkable and the upcoming fearures such as lighting network and POS should help spread even more

I very bullish and hope to see them grow like we never seen before

Re: Bitcoin adoption: Don't just sit down, do something
by

I totally agree, if we really want more people and more growth we cant simply wait and do nothing

that’s why I became somehow a blockchain evangelist and basically spreading the word and telling friends about it

also explaining how it works and how it compares with the old traditional financial system

Re: why many ico launch with ETH ?
by
goldexp83
on 10/02/2019, 05:07:11 UTC
You can check some database about ICO,  but I think that currently ETH cover almost 95% of ICOS

most of other platforms can't even compare like Neo, Stellar, Komodo and so on

this comes from my perspective and personal experience as I been keeping an eye on ICO and top successful projects for the last few years

Re: Is Cryptocurrency One Big Ponzi Scheme?
by
goldexp83
on 09/02/2019, 04:32:54 UTC
You should understand first what is a ponzi scheme and how it actually operates

crypto is definitely not a ponzi if has a transparent and auditable blockchain

but of course we had stuff like bitconnect in thee past,  so research and understanding is needed

scammers create these dodgy ponzi schemes to take advantage of noobs

Re: Please advise me which coins best for the day trading
by
goldexp83
on 08/02/2019, 13:53:25 UTC
I usually look at what is trending and what exchanges I can find rhe specific coins

yes most of people trade usually BTC or Ethereum but it can get boring soon

for example right now many people are trading BTT and tron, since the ICO just finished and there was a lot of hype

do your own research always

Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever?
by
goldexp83
on 08/02/2019, 04:41:45 UTC
I think it can last as long as we have humans being that wants transparency and fairness for their payments

it's a new tech like the internet as become common today, so as long as we can make it easy for most people

we can expect to last longer and even take over over the traditional ways we used to pay with fiat and so on

look at china cashless society

Re: Huge Television Ad for Bitcoin on All the Major Networks
by
goldexp83
on 07/02/2019, 11:03:15 UTC
not a big fan of television ads as they just tease cryptos and more clear explanation is always needed

but I guess is still good as it adress that part of population that don’t hangout on the internet

I think cross collaboration between different media can ultimately help and spread blockchain tech to everyone but we still need education

Re: What are your plans for this year
by
goldexp83
on 06/02/2019, 14:51:01 UTC
my plan is to educate myself about cryptos, investments and economics

I would like to complete some basic courses about trading in order to improve my skills

I also plan to sell and organize better my crypto budget for ICO, probably doing one a month

Re: Future of Bitcoin
by
goldexp83
on 06/02/2019, 05:07:39 UTC
I think the future is pretty promising! if we looked at the behind the scene investments and money:

-cb insights states a record for blockchain investments by venture capital in 2018
-many institutional players are about to enter from Nasdaq to Fidelity
-many projects working on scalability like Lightcoin and new protocols like grin

its never been the best time to get in crypto!

Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up
by
goldexp83
on 05/02/2019, 08:15:31 UTC
We need more ATM in Asia, currently I haven’t seen many in Thailand

I just worried about taxes when withdrawing? I think in Thailand its gonna be about 15% which makes it not very friendly compared to fiat ATMs

but is indeed a hood sign of adoption for common users

Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency?
by
goldexp83
on 04/02/2019, 14:38:03 UTC
Because its more convenient, transparent than our normal fiat currencies

I travel a lot and it’s just a pain to exchange money around the world, u basically get robbed each time

but with cryptos its much more easy to exchange and you save TONS compared to a normal bank

Maybe in a dream world? from what we see soo far a lot of hype and very little progress in the last year:

no meaningful partnership, dapps, exchanges or anything? we also had problems in the blockchain itself and wallets development has been so slow

not sure how is going to be 2019, hope some nice clear roadmap to come out

like all investor are moving and no spike in gold? I follow tge ventures capital and still see lots of money coming in

the space is still early and there's a lot to build needed

Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?
by
goldexp83
on 02/02/2019, 05:12:34 UTC
We can already use most of popular cryptocurrencies for payments online and offline

you can easily search on google or coinmap the list of places amd companies that accept crypto

it's mostly a matter of being aware of the possibility andbtake advantage pf crypto payments,  which are more convenient than centralized banks

Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies?
by
goldexp83
on 01/02/2019, 14:54:40 UTC
I personally travel quite often in Asia and exchanging different currencies its a pain in the ass

but since I discovered BTC my world has radically changed and getting local fiat its much more convenient, for me this is pretty massive, banks have been too greedy

I also buy online with cryptos and get some nice discounts

Re: Will SEC approve BITCOIN ETF ?
by
goldexp83
on 01/02/2019, 09:29:48 UTC
it will take time, its been already 6 years since the Winklewoss has submitted the first ETF

but as long as we do progress and regulate the market, eventually the SEC will approve it

but I think we don’t have a focus on that, real adoption its much more important

Re: are ICOs really dead?
by
goldexp83
on 31/01/2019, 13:02:23 UTC
Absolutely not, Binance launchpad just did the Bitcoin ICO and raised 7 million in just 15min!

yes many complained that it was a failure as it was mostly bought by whales

we need better ICO structure and be more democratic about our distribution,  but the future seems promising I thinm!

Re: Video call for KYC verification
by
goldexp83
on 30/01/2019, 14:53:05 UTC
despite all the tecno buzz for kyc, I think we are still very behind with the tech

I just got verified on Netidentity for an exchange and again I had to submit my docs multiple times, like 8 times during the year already

such a waste of time and security,  I really hope someone will figure this out
