Re: 2019 NBA Season

I am now worried about the future of cousins as he has been so prone to injury, after his contract with the Lakers, I think it might be the end of his career.

The way I see it, it's likely to happen, because he suffered a serious injury, and he is out indefinitely according to:

https://www.nba.com/article/2019/08/15/report-demarcus-cousins-suffers-possible-knee-injury

Even how good a player is but when he is already prone to injury, his market will value also drop and he is not also getting any younger.
If ever he will be able to come back and play again, he will be almost 30 years old and for me, that's not young anymore, his future is not looking good anymore.

30 isn't really that old considering how in shape athletes are today.  Federer is still dominating and Vince Carter has been able to keep up in his 40s.  Its not the same deterrent it was before with how advanced conditioning and technology is.

I believe it will eventually reach $100,00 but it will take much longer.  I believe it will be around $50,000 by that time.

Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction?

I had a heavy gambling addiction at one point in my life because of video games.  I was able to bet real money in the video game and it slowly spread to other aspects of my life.  Started to gamble on sports and didn't even enjoy watching like how I used to.

Prefer youtube vidoes because you can listen and multi task.  I guess you could also do the same with audio books but its hard to get an audio file for the more rare books.

I never trusted deep onion from the start and all their paid shills.  Can't say I'm sad to see this project die, funny how no one is left advertising their campaign anymore.

Goodbye to the onion say hello to deep carrot and deep potato. Angry Angry Angry

Re: If China Ban , Bitcoin Hashrate Will Drop ?
by
green547
on 22/04/2019, 06:19:36 UTC
Hello Everyone,

I have a quastion , if china ban miner , bitcoin hashrate will drop back to 2013?

Bitcoin difficult so high because for china miner around 70%

Thanks~

China has actually banned bitcoin miners since 2018, so the effect will not be large now that is only the issue raised again this year to make FUD.
You also don't need to worry that the mining company will be closed because China has banned mining, because many Chinese people have chosen to leave the country to get freedom in mining bitcoin.

Thats not true, they are just doing backroom deals with their buddies and a lot of bribe money is being thrown around.  The mining industry in China is full of corruption and they are doing everything they can do squash the competition.

Good riddance another badly run exchange has gone down, let own the strongest survive.  That is how a free market is supposed to function.   Now we need to target exchanges faking volume on coinmarketcap.

At first I thought I thought I was on a phishing site because I took a break form crypto.  Then I went back and looked at the twitter posts for the myetherwallet account and realized they updated the site.

ps: never enter your key directly into mew on a browser, use a hardware wallet or sign transactions offline.

I don’t trust anybody so sadly if I die my bitcoin’s go too. I’m only in my late 20’s though & have nobody to leave my coins to.

I think that is a very shallow thing to say, how is it possible that in all the people you know, there is no one worthy of your trust? you rather prefare to die and let the btc stock in a wallet for eternity than to give it away to those who can benefit from it,

if you can't trust lawyers certainly you can trust your immediate family - mother, brother, sister, wife .children, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece. friends and so on, among this category of people surely there must be someone who you can trust with it, or better yet, write a will and donate to charity, there are thousand of needy people in the world who you can help with it.

And you know death is not by how young or old a person is.

A lot of people don't have close families, consider yourself lucky if you do.  I'm in the same boat I have watched my own family stab me in the back and they would steal any crypto if they knew I held some.  Its a cold world we live in dawg.

Re: Mass BSV delisting from the top exchanges is not totally justified in my opinio

If you are still hodling that shitcoin you deserve to lose money.

There is no other explanation can be made. It is a shitcoin, it shouldn't have any real world value, its main promoter is a scam artist and worst of all, that scam artist is suing everybody who says that he is a scam artist.

Fuck Craig and his shitcoin. BCH is next.

Dude I'm not a fan of SV but I wouldn't call it a shitcoin.  Millions of dollars of SV are traded daily and they have very wealthy people backing the development.  What you said just isn't fair man.  And BCH is a top 5 coin so calling that a shitcoin is just pure FUD.

Re: KYC for penny money?
by

on 22/04/2019, 05:57:50 UTC
Well, let's be honest here many peoples' identities are worthless. If you're living in a drain in Lesotho it's not as if anyone can do much with it, that's if you can afford documents at all.

A fine demonstration was the joke KYC on here on April Fool's day. In the joke application thread there were a suspiciously large number of genuine-looking selfies.

I'm not going to hand stuff over to any random site, but, unfashionable as it might be to say, I don't really give a shit if a hack has those documents away. I own nothing. I have no credit. I will never, ever have any credit. If someone signs me up for the Foreign Legion without my knowledge I'd probably join it anyway for something to do.

It was crazy how many people actually believed that April Fools joke and tried to enter in their personal information.  Just shows how these people from those impoverished nations will give up anything for a few dollars. Sad world we live in, isn't it.

Re: A message from the future with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

The stupidity she brought onto the table is on a whole other level, same for the other "fresh faces" of the democratic party. They are what i would call clickbait in a human form. They spew bs that has literally no way of coming to fruition nor is it thought through or consistent. People like her is the reason Trumps gona win again lol

Exactly, after planting a fantastic vision in peoples' heads, and after getting elected, then it's the same old song with new players.

This is also called politicians lying.

Simpe as that.

Every election there is some new hope that will save us all but they only care about money and power.  Democrats and Republicans are the same, don't let that show they put on fool you.  They all serve the same masters.

Re: Why smart-contracts are so strange?

Ethereum can do a lot of different things which makes it easy to hang yourself with all the rope they give you.  This is why people have lost millions in smart contracts because they weren't careful and didn't know what the hell they were even doing.

Re: What would you do to recover your losses?
by
green547
on 22/04/2019, 05:44:57 UTC
I think every investor who had invested at BTC peak value is now 90% loss if he still hold and i think maximum investor still holding the coins and hope as market recovers they will also recover there losses.
The computation is wrong, the peak let's say  was $20,000 and the current price now is $5,000, so it should only total to 75%.
90% I'm sure will apply to losses in altcoins coins as they dropped harder.

Its even worse than that, a lot of these ethereum tokens are down 99 percent and are about to be completely dead, bitcoin is looking like a safe haven compared to these alts even though it is down 75 percent lol. Shocked Shocked

my favorite gambling crypto sites:

1. fortunejack
2.bitcasino.io
3.sports.betio
4.bitdice
5.stake.com

Those are the main ones I play on so I can't really speak on the lesser known casinos.

Its unfortunate that more colleges aren't offering course in blockchain.  It can be difficult go get accurate information from the internet alone without credited teachers. I hope this iwll change in the future.
