Has no one bought any supplies locally for this? In the US that is.

This looks pretty exact: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-48-in-x-3-4-in-x-1-16-in-Aluminum-Square-Tube-40630/202183563

The corner connectors though.... not sure

Yeah the connectors are my issue as well.

Brunner ships super fast even though the shipping/handling is a bit high (it was top notch though). I believe the cheapest shipping got everything to me in 2 days and the order processed the same day as ordering.

In the future though, I'd just grab the 4 ft tubings since the UPS guy had some fun getting the 8 foot ones into my apartment Smiley

Finally built my first. Used a hacksaw and edges came out a little uneven but it still gets the job done Smiley

Thanks OP!

Re: [ANN] OpenRigs.com - Aluminium Frames for Mining Rigs

Your SPF DNS record doesn't allow Gmail to send on behalf of your domain (openrigs.com). Fixing that should resolve the issue.

ie, "v=spf1 mx ptr a:geartri.be a:mailer.openrigs.com include:_spf.google.com ~all"

Thanks - I've made the change, but I'm confused...the mails are going from mailer.openrigs.com to a server as dictated by gmail.com's MX record...why does it need to have anything other than a:mailer.openrigs.com to allow it? My SPF-fu is bad:)

Heh, it's not my forte. Using the command nslookup -q=mx openrigs.com shows that you use GoogleApps.

C:\Users\x>nslookup -q=mx openrigs.com
Server:  xx.xxx.xx
Address:  xx.xxx.xx.xx

Non-authoritative answer:
openrigs.com    MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = alt2.aspmx.l.google.com
openrigs.com    MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = aspmx2.googlemail.com
openrigs.com    MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = aspmx3.googlemail.com
openrigs.com    MX preference = 1, mail exchanger = aspmx.l.google.com
openrigs.com    MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = alt1.aspmx.l.google.com

aspmx.l.google.com      internet address = 74.125.142.27

Given that, you need your SPF record to allow to send "on behalf of [google]" for e-mails to appear as legitimate. We run into similar issues implementing CRM systems and allowing them to integrate with e-mail systems that aren't hosted by the CRM system itself (such as a ticketing system integration, and in this case, your sendmail/postix server).

Were are we at on the orders? I hope progress is being made.  Grin

- A lot of people - like a LOT - aren't getting email updates because GMail is marking our email as spam. We've put a notice at the end of the checkout process in big bold letters to let them know they must check their spam folder, although not everyone reads that. We've also checked our SPF record and so on, and everything seems to be in order, so I don't know what's prompted GMail's filters to flag our system emails. They are receiving the emails without indicating a softfail:

root@mailer:/var/log/exim4# grep -ir "1W30sM-0005Qt-C7" *
mainlog.1:2014-01-14 05:05:38 1W30sM-0005Qt-C7 <= www-data@mailer.openrigs.com U=www-data P=local S=1540
mainlog.1:2014-01-14 05:05:39 1W30sM-0005Qt-C7 => XXXredactedXXXX@gmail.com R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp H=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [173.194.76.26] X=TLS1.0:RSA_ARCFOUR_SHA1:16 DN="C=US,ST=California,L=Mountain View,O=Google Inc,CN=mx.google.com"
mainlog.1:2014-01-14 05:05:39 1W30sM-0005Qt-C7 Completed

We may have to switch over to GMail's SMTP if this doesn't abate.

Your SPF DNS record doesn't allow Gmail to send on behalf of your domain (openrigs.com). Fixing that should resolve the issue.

I'm also sort of interested in why the hash rate is so low while mining FST

Blocks get solved too quickly at this low of a difficulty.

Hello, im new here, i just started mining here yesterday.
is this rejected % normal?

worker.1 = ATI 7970
worker.2 = ATI 7850

The kh in the pool is normally correct (in the print screen is a little low) but the rejected % is really high right? Do i have problems with my configurations or something?

That look's extremely high though maybe you took the SS right after a coin switch to something with a high reject % (like FastCoin)

Though if some of the more pro miners have some tips for you, I'm sure they can help you out Smiley

My rejection rate is even higher, mainly my multi-gpu setups. FST is insanely low difficulty though which would cause it (I hope). Usually jobs are solved before you even submit then, hence the rejections.

Shit sorry, LOL, ALIX boards are what I meant. They sell all boards/cases/CF's separate or you can buy already built ones.

Netgate is a provider but ALIX sells direct too.

Build it with an ALIN board to cut costs. pfSense runs beautifully on there and form factor is much smaller.

Dear all,
Today we scheduled a maintenance that went bad on Hypernova.
The purpose of this maintenance was to push the new litecoin daemon in its new version 0.8.3.7.
As you may be aware, this new branch of litecoin needs to resync the whole blockchain.
During the blockchain syncing, the network difficulty dropped to something like 0.XXXX and the PPS rate skyrocketed.
Those who were mining during that upgrade within that 2 minutes timeframe experienced a WAY too high balance (we're talking about thousands of LTCs)
The auto withdraw threshold feature perfectly worked. Here is how you empty a pool wallet in seconds.
I'm very sorry about your loss. I decide to stop the Hypernova's adventures here.
If the coins (or part of the coins) are returned by those who received the withdraws, I'll be happy to refund those who ask me in PM or at feedback@hypernova.pw (please tag your subject with [refund] as you guess I'll have many mails within the next days)

sound familiar?

As promised, my experience with Hostedmining and zif was exceptional. Ordered a case from there and had a super quick turnaround. Thanks!

Re: cgminer "stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted" issue
by
grobbes
on 28/06/2013, 02:58:48 UTC
It happens to me sometimes with rigs on the same network. It will say "... interrupted" and never reconnect but other miners are fine and never disconnected in the first place so the pool isn't the issue. Sometimes it reconnects but lately it hasn't.

Trying to figure out how to get around this atm...
