I know not to expect massive improvements like that to happen overnight. I do expect my single, small order to be completed over the course of two nights.

People are selling btc all over the place now, you guys can't find 1.5-2 of them for me?

C'mon URSAY, level with me here.  What's the problem?

Come on dude. You're freaking out over 2 days. It's been 2 weeks for me. $400.    $85/btc when I placed my order...

I'll be honest with you; I don't care about your order.

I'm here complaining at the level I am because I don't want to be like you 2 weeks from now with now btc. In situations like this, the longer you wait, the more fucked you are.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and I plan on flooding EVERYBODY at bitinstant with complaints until I get what I paid for. If you were smart, you'd do the same so you don't have to wait another 2 weeks.

URSAY, when you said my problem had been escalated, does that mean you are no longer doing anything to help me get what I paid for?

I've been in contact with Gareth, and at least he was able to give me a straight answer. Here is a portion of what he told me:

> MtGox resumes trading in just over 4 hours, at which point queued
> orders should execute..."

When can I expect my order to go through? My event log says this

Wed Apr 10 21:19:41 2013   f0c80d72-6fd1-4a6b-8e09-e9b78bd3d0e8   MTGox Order Loading

What does this mean to me and when can I get what I paid for.

Your order may go thru when Gox resumes.  If it does not then we will have to continue looking into your issue.  Thanks for your patience!

MtGox resumed trading an hour ago, correct?

Big surprise, I still have no bitcoins; that's why I'm still here.  I don't understand why there's even a problem in the first place. My money was taken and processed just fine.

If somebody in that company of yours would just send me a few bitcoins to my address, I could get on with my life.  As it is I've wasted 2 days being pissed off in front of a computer.  What do you think will happen next time I need to purchase btc? Bitinstant is going to be hemorrhaging customers if you people don't start taking some real action. You still have a chance.

Demand is faster then anyone can keep up with.  We're always investing in anything we can do to improve your experience and we hope you will understand that such improvements can't all happen overnight.

If this doesn't be done soon, I will contact the owner of bitinstant.com

I wouldn't waste your time with this threat here....

I've already talked to Charlie about my issue along with anybody else I could get ahold of.

Jtheboss95, you have no idea how to navigate customer service.  Don't make empty threats, just go ahead and contact this guy.

However, if you talk to him like the 17-18 yearold that you are, don't expect any resolution. There's a way to get what you want, and you aren't doing it.

I was recently told that BitInstant uses MtGox's price to sell coins, and that you get the coins at the same price they were when you made your deposit. This is unacceptable as MtGox is frozen at twice the price of the exchange I addressed my deposit to and it has been FIVE hours since I made the deposit. I could have easily made profit by riding the dips on the other exchange, but apparently I will come into the market already having lost 50% of my investment.

Are these things true, and if so, what do you plan to make it right?

Execution prices depend on the type of service you used and multiple other current market factors.  If you have further questions or would like to open a ticket check out bitinstant.com/contact

Thanks!  Cheesy

I came here because I do not plan on sending another ticket and having myself re-queued. I don't really appreciate the non-answer, or your use of a smilie when talking about my predicament. I think it's pretty easy to see that my next questions will have to be more straightforward, so here goes:

Are you going to charge me $120 for BTCs that are now worth $60-$70?

I used Moneygram through ZipZap and yourself to send BTCs to an address for an exchange I am a member of. What are the implications of these "services" and the "current market conditions" relating to my deposit?

I'm sorry but I have no previous issues logges with you.  All support issues not go thru btinstant.com/contact

Often times the issues that you might think are "simple" are not that simple.  Thanks for your understanding!  Cheesy

You do however, have a logged issue with me.

I also sent a Moneygram through ZipZap in an attempt to fund a btc address. My question is the same as DM334.

Am I going to pay >$120 for a bitcoin that is now worth $60-$80?

And let me reiterate, I've already submitted my issue at bitinstant.com/contact. It won't let me do it again.

How about you give me a straight answer instead of the runaround like everybody else?

URSAY I just want to make sure you've got all the info you need from me. I'm on the 4/11 list.

My email I used to order is  jimrussles@hushmail.com

The bitcoin address where my coins go is 13CgzzbM6cmrPFbQuTC1F4sg75Pifk4RPU

I never got an Order ID because my transaction didn't get that far.  In the event log, I'm stuck at "Mt Gox Order Loading"

Here's my bitinstant order page.

Order receipt

Quote ID   fdf90bef-086a-42b5-9df5-75d2348ae5ab
Event ID   a587130e-076f-4afa-8d83-7ad5aa57b85b
Fees (inclusive)   3.99%%
Amount you paid   $175.0 USD
Amount you will receive   $168.0175 USD
Destination exchange   Bitcoin Address
Destination account   13CgzzbM6cmrPFbQuTC1F4sg75Pifk4RPU
Order event log

Wed Apr 10 21:19:41 2013   f0c80d72-6fd1-4a6b-8e09-e9b78bd3d0e8   MTGox Order Loading

Is my order one that might benefit from being manually pushed through like these others?

I'd really love to get my coins at the crash price, that was the whole reason I ordered when I did.  I will lose too much money if I get them at the pre-crash price.

You issue was escalated because it is different then some of these manual push throughs.  Cheesy

That's just fantastic :/

Any idea how the price is going to be determined? Bitstamp is at ~$60 a coin right now and it would be ridiculous to get forced into paying yesterday's prices after having to wait so long.

At least you guys could give me a lower price. I don't expect to get them at $60, but surely not $160 or whatever.

Is there any more information you can give me about my issue and why it had to be escalated? At this point I'm open to the idea of a refund if the purchase price of the coins is too high.

And please don't tell me to submit anything at /contact because I already have and I can no longer use my quote ID.

URSAY, I've read your sig twice now and I've yet to see anything pertaining to these "working lists".

Is there any other information I can give you that will help expedite this process? I want to help you help me.

bitinstant.com/contact

I have already submitted my issue as of yesterday without hearing anything back at all.

That's the reason I'm here; I feel as if I'm being ignored by the automated system.

I'm still on this 4/11 list correct? You said that I was on it before your important update.

You know you could easily make me go away by just manually sending 1.5btc to my address. Surely you guys have at least that lying around.

So now that I'm on the 4/11 list, what can I expect to happen?

Will some of the people on this list have their issues resolved today, or is this just a line I'm waiting in that won't get worked on until much later on?

How do these lists work?

I'm sure some of your have seen GOX's public announcement that they have suspended trading today.  This will obviously effect our ability to resolve many of the back logged orders today.  Sad

How will this affect those of us who did moneygram>zipzap>Bitinstant>Bitcoin address?

Ursay, please answer this.

I made the same type of order, but in my order event log, I have an event that says "Coinapault Order Loading" followed by "Mt Gox Order Loading".  Is this supposed to happen that way? I don't recall it happening in my previous transactions.

Will my problem be addressed at all? I haven't received a reply to ANY of my emails.

I haven't ever logged an issue for you that I see.  Please see my sig about providing details.  Cheesy

I read your sig and I've posted the pertinent information

Please do the right thing by not selling these coins at a massively inflated price.

Please verify that you'll be making a ticket for my issue.

Hey URSAY or YANKEE

I put in my order yesterday when coins were around $140 and it still hasn't been filled yet. I have also submitted a help ticket.

Maybe if I post on here too, somebody will help me get what I paid for. It's a small order of 170, you should be able to fill it just fine.

Somebody at bitinstant, PLEASE HELP ME.

Please don't sell these coins to me at $200 like you are with other people. That was NOT the price when I submitted my order.

I'm having some serious problems too.

My order hasn't been filled and I haven't heard anything back from my ticket I submitted.

I used to really like bitinstant, but I'm starting to change my mind.

I've also got a horrible feeling that they're going to pick the highest price they can to sell me my bitcoins. I ordered at ~$140, not $200.

Bitinstant support, this is your chance to make things right and not sell me overpriced coins.

Your move
