I would suggest you Bitfinex or kraken. Bitfinex accepts USD and kraken accepts also euro.

On coinmarketcap you can see all the platforms which list the token. You can try sending the tokens to another platform, if you failed the first time.
I would suggest you to first send few tokens and then sending the entire amount. You will pay the fees twice, but at least you will not lose your money!

I would split my investment, 50% in BTC and 50% in new ICOs. They have higher risk, but higher return.
Before investing, check the project as well as the team, read the whitepaper, analyze the market cap, etc.

I completely agree. Take a look to the market cap, and try to think which is the growth potential of altcoins.
Personally, I am interested in STORM (which already made 5x in 2 weeks), Gifto, dmarket and universa (when they will be listed on exchanges).
Others also suggest deeponion.

If you want to buy Ripple with Euros, I would suggest Kraken.
I also like Bitfinex, which lets you buy Ripple using USD.

You could split your balance in 2 parts:
- one for buy & holding
- the second one for short-term trading

If you want to buy and hold, you could take a look at new project which have been recently launched, check their market cap and see if they have the potential to grow. They provide highest rewards, with respect to top-10 coins (e.g., ETH, BTC, etc.), but they have a higher risk.

As minor altcoins I would say Santiment, Monetha and Dmarket.

- Santiment recently made 10x. The team behind is really solid and the idea is innovative.
- Moneta just had a slight spike today, and it's still under-valued after ICO (ICO price was nearly the double of the actual price)
- Dmarket just closed ICO, it's a good project which could have impact on a wide number of game players

- as a *bonus*, a friend of mine told me about DubaiCoin, so you can take a look also at it.
