Shocker! Their "withdraw" link isn't working right now. I can't even get out my "returned" bet.

Do you buy keys from others? You bought a steam gift off me on bitmit, but I have a whole bunch of keys and only half the desire to try and move them on bitmit Smiley

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing, just trying to understand.

I appreciate the service and I also appreciate that you're actively responsive on here to my questions Smiley

So looking at the two stat pages you linked above, it seemed like #312 was performing better before I switched the layout around on March 17th. So maybe I should be switching things back?

I agree, a guide for new publishers laying out how everything works would be great. Mostly because I had a hard time figuring out what I needed to do to optimize my earning potential. Wink

[EDIT: The page I'm referring to that hosts the ads is NSFW. Just an FYI.]

So, comprehension question here:

I have two ad units #312 and #1229 that are active on my page. One is a horizontal banner and one is a tower. Both are active on the site, but looking at these links:
https://a-ads.com/catalog?ad_unit_id=1229&target_type=AdUnit&partner=1229
https://a-ads.com/catalog?ad_unit_id=312&target_type=AdUnit&partner=312

The number of impressions is drastically different. Am I doing something wrong in my implementation? Should I not be running two different types of ads on the same page? If so, which one would be the more advantageous one to keep?

You've got the right idea, there's just a wealth of data in that election results file that would take a bit of time to compile into something usable for a map.

I'd be confident making jpgs of the maps you needed, but I'm only slightly familiar with the web based gis mapping you linked.

I'd be glad to take a look at doing this for you if you want to discuss timeframe/budget issues.

I had fun following this over on r/bitcoin/ , but I don't think you have much to worry about people guessing these brain wallets. Everyone on there, myself included, needed a LOT of hints before the last 4 passes were cracked Smiley

If you're running another experiment anytime soon, let me know  Wink

Everything I've been reading from reddit's bitcoin forum has lead me to believe that the ship has largely sailed on making BTC off of mining. These ASIC devices seem to be ridiculously difficult to produce and only come out a few units at a time, but conversely, increase the mining difficulty by a large amount. So by the time you sit though a long waitlist of customers ahead of you and eventually get your ASIC, you won't be making much BTC per day.

That said, it's not really that big of a gamble to drop $149 on a Jalapeno and just hope that maybe you're able to eke out another $100 of profit out of it. Just be ready for that to not happen and for you to end up with a cool mug warmer Smiley

If you're looking for a serious investment, you need to dollar-cost average and just make a regular weekly/monthly purchase of the same amount.

If you're just trying to speculate and make a quick buck, you need to make your own guess on where the value is going to go from here.

I bought $100 at around $23 and ended up using/losing all of it. I bought $100 more at around $31 and have been sitting on it since. Now at around $62 I've recouped ALL my bitcoin investment. It's really just luck and how much you're willing to invest.

Best advice is the same as gambling: Don't put in any more money than you can afford to lose.

I want to reply to a request for work in the Economy -> Services forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=155175.0

I've been using AnonymousAds v2 to generate some bitcoin for myself for about a month or so now: http://www.a-ads.com/ad_units/312 for confirmation.

Thanks for considering my whitelist.

Greetings.
I've been getting into my local bitcoin scene as well as playing around with satoshidice, anonymousads and such and such.
Looking forward to getting involved in the community here!
