Are you sure that the accounted has posted atleast once in every 2week period?

The account for sale has posted quite frequently, except between November 2014 and January 2015.

Full member auction - Account older than 1 year
by

on 16/04/2015, 16:08:59 UTC
Hello,

I am selling a Full Member account.

It has 147 post. Activity is the same.
As said in title, it's more than one year old, so it can turn Sr. Member quick and easy.

It's not hacked, Proof of ownership with signed messages is available.
The account was never banned as well.

Starting bid and reserve : BTC0.1
Bid increment : BTC0.005
Buy it now : BTC0.15

Auction ends on 19th April, in exactly 72 hours. (04:08:XX PM)

I am more than willing to use escrow. In that case, the buyer covers the escrow fee.

In my understanding, as long as internet is up, bitcoin will survive. If internet gets destructed, that would be more catastrophic than bitcoin's destruction.

Which isn't entirely possible (or at least very unlikely). If the internet gets destroyed, something much worse is in for us.

We need investors at the moment so the price wobbling is a good thing.

It seems, to me, buying bitcoins is going to be the easiest thing to do. Can anyone give me average prices of bitcoins?

A nice website tool that you can use to find the average price of bitcoins in any amount is http://preev.com. You can also choose your currency.

My mistake admin, I hope I haven't upset you or broken any rules!

Its allowed by the site rules and admins. Its the community who may negative trust you. Since its known that this account is for sale no one will buy it either as a known bought account is looked at poorly.
Oh, I thought had something to do with the account restrictions or something, lol  Grin

I wouldn't want to indulge in the deception of trust anyhow,

Cheers!

Re: Selling any $10 STEAM game as a gift

Hi!

I'm having trouble buying Bitcoin where I live, so I figured I could buy a steam game, and send it as a gift in exchange for bitcoins.

I can agree on sending the goods first, if you have a good reputation. Smiley

$10 worth ~ .03btc
how will you buying it?
also aint the best price, I myself offer better
I'll buy it with my credit card and then send the game.

Okay, I didn't check very closely if anyone else was doing the same thing. Price can be negotiated. Smiley

Edit: Im not doing this as a business, I just want to attain some Bitcoins.

That's also why I think Mini-Blockchain is so important - the whole deal with Bitcoin is a trust-based system, we all trust our money to be stored in Bitcoin, because we think that it will remain safe/solid/decentralized, and it has provided these things... Except for the ever-expanding blockchain which will ultimately lead to the consolidation of full nodes, and in that sense Bitcoin will lose the essence which it was built upon.

There's a lot of talk about scalability at the moment, if mainly technical rather than alt-coin action.  And not a lot of mention of Cryptonite. How do you guys see Cryptonite fitting in to all of this, and becoming more prominent?
[...] But I also know that Cryptonite wont succeed unless I can build a market around it and give people something to spend their XCN on.
Although that would be a good thing, I really don't think it matters.
My theory is that the majority of Bitcoin holders(90% or more) simply think that bitcoins are a good investment and a alternative way of storing their money. The fact that we can easily exchange them among each other makes them somewhat similar to money, but I believe that as long as the coin itself doesn't offer something that our regular money does - there are few reasons why bitcoins would compete with our established monetary system.

In the same way, let's say hypothetically that gold could be sent through the internet, that doesn't mean we would start to use gold instead of our fiat.

Bitcoin is a commodity rather than money

People are not buying bitcoins so that they can buy stuff with it (with the exception of illegal stuff). Bitcoins are an easily exchanged commodity, people buy it because it's a way of storing money.

Paycoin is a Paycon.

Regarding the account fee, wouldn't it be possible to make it gradually decrease with the block height?
Well sure, but what would be the goal of that? I don't see why that would be useful.
Since the coin value supposedly will start low and increase with time.

^ I realize that it's a bit distasteful to presuppose that the value will increase. Probably bad omen as well.

I agree on keeping Cryptonite as it is, anonymity is a great feature, but there are obviously cases where it's a hindrance.

Anyways, very interesting stuff!

Re: KorePhone - Introducing proof of code - BOUNTIES
by
heskey

I would suggest that a new coin should be created alongside, and that the developers then are rewarded with the original bounty(bitcoin or Kore) + the new coin.

Why? This is how you properly create a new economy and distribute it. POW is not really any work, it's just wasted electricity(well, not entirely but you get my point) - and POS is simply not distribution at all.

Rewarding people for creating something means that the money(coins) derive their value from actual WORK, each and every coin then becomes a true reward for the creation of something that will actually benefit our society.

I absolutely love the idea, but it would be awesome to simultaneously create and distribute a new coin - and it would teach the world how economics should work - in contrast to how it works today, where money is created as debt.
