I thought I would see a proposal where word "blockchain" is used to make it somehow innovative, these days everyone uses word blockchain in everything, doesn't matter what, blockchain can do this, can do that, can bring it and etc while in reality there is no need of it in everything.

1. Not necessarily, but it definitely can help. If you can't raise as much as needed for the mvp, then you can say good bye. But there are also a lot more to what determines the success of a project.
2. Depending of a project. If it needs bigger investments to get started, then yeah, you need to raise funds somehow. If you have the know-how and don't need to raise much funds, then you can get going without it.
3. They just had the skill-set already, that was needed for them to get it going.
I think they should to some extend. There are a lots of similarities. You have to really train to get good, you need a good mental stamina, need to perform under pressure. E-Sport is a thing already!

I think for every investor there is a certain point that they have for selling. the $3-4k mark could have easily been the breaking point for a lot of them. Thus the decision to sell now.
This is a myth about price drop because of bounty hunters) IMHO most ICO just too late with exchanges and roadmaps. So people tired from them and selling everything. Or promised great exchange and after that you can see them just on IDEX) Or for example look at fusion on bitfinex) They have no volume at all) And their price is not because of bounty hunters)

Rememer the days when ICO's like Bancor could raise 170 million USD in a heartbeat. They have enough funds to last for years. I don't think we will ever see those ICO's again. And maybe that's for the best.

That's the time we can officially say that after 2/3 of the Q4 we have seen a great crypto market crash, and this year is totally different when compared to last 3.
Now, I think the question is, how long will it take to rebound to the levels it was during the boom? 2013 crash took basically 4 years to get back to the point it was (if we are talking about Bitcoin price). Will this take as long? Anyway, seems like a real bear market is ahead of us.
