Re: My BTC.sx order was liquidated before hitting the stop/limit prices?
by

Hey guys,

I had a weird issue with BTC.sx today. I was watching a long position go up and down in a background window, and I come back and it's gone. Checked the trade history, and it had been marked as Liquidated: user. The price hadn't hit either the stop or limit price (nowhere close), I have more BTC in my wallet than the deposit on the position, and now I'm stumped. Now their buy limit has been reached and I can't open any new long positions.

Did I get screwed? Their FAQ isn't very clear under what circumstances they may force a liquidation...

Have you heard anything from support? The lack of any info whatsoever from them is getting pretty frustrating.

Same thing happened to me. I had three long positions closed (at $80-$100 above my stop prices), also marked as liquidated by user. So now I'm out the cost of funding the positions for 3 days as well as the 0.5 BTC my trades "lost" (though they would be profitable as of 5 minutes ago). Just sent support an email, very curious/anxious to see how/if they respond. Their FAQ isn't very clear about circumstances for forced liquidation, but this would not seem to be one of them -- and if it were, our trades would definitely not be marked as user liquidated.

Judging by their facebook page we're not the only ones having issues today.

Can you depost real btc to btc.sx and then use them buy gox btc at gox prices? For example can I send 1 BTC and buy 2.5 goxbtc? (This is not about leverage, its about rates)

nope. 1 BTC = 1 BTC

Not sure if we will count the above, but I will bid 0.78 BTC anyways.

Any reason you didn't put down 0.15 more BTC and get 13 chips instead of 12.82?

*0.015 BTC, rather.

Bid is at 0.8 BTC.

Interested in your chips from the ragingazn628 group buy, if you decide to sell separately.

i can sell you 70 for 7.6 BTC

Ouch. More than 2 BTC markup is kinda hefty for those. I'll think about it but will probably just look elsewhere in the meantime. I've got a few in that order already but am just trying to get some more.

I could do 6 BTC. Not trying to lowball you, just can't afford a markup much higher than that when people are still selling for closer to what they paid.

Anyone interested in my 128 chips for 9.5btc?  I need my preorder funds for another project

Very interested. I was hoping to be able to get more chips on the 2nd group buy, but it doesn't look like it will go through in time.

I'd be interested in all of them, but to be fair to erschiessen (or any one else needing more chips), maybe I could just get 64?

Obviously provided its okay to transfer ownership in the first place.

are you guys getting refunds totally giving up on buying any more avalon chips, or are you considering looking into different options?

i have a few chips in the first group buy and was hoping to get in on this once it got closer to completion, but its looking like that won't happen.

sadly my 5 or 7.5 BTC contribution won't be nearly enough to make a difference, so just wondering what you guys are thinking.

realized i should have added 2 more chips than i did earlier. just sent over an additional 0.1599 BTC to cover them.

wish i had more to put down at the moment. still hoping for a transfer to clear in time to be able to grab another 32 chips tomorrow, but its looking like we'll be done pretty soon (not a bad thing, i guess.)

Re: BitBears.com / BitJade.com / BitcoinGoldbar.com (Ponzi/Greater Fool)

Hi there,

i bought the BitJade but never became owner of it.

TX: https://blockchain.info/tx/a5a832aee7b42e128f32c2fc1f427b40bd4a340ca4edad63c03f8b5110666e11

the coins where transmitted to the main game address

https://blockchain.info/tx/5a12b201c3d4834d84453a776dde61d99c5ee1f9dfa5a0d8618cc27a07b8701e

But the game never recognized!

Please refund my 0.05 btc to the original emitting address 18LyDvD5TS4f2M4sR2jDQjC1vQp2P6q47V .

Thx

Same here, for BitBears. I emailed the transaction details to the site's email address. This also happened to me with the Orb game, but after emailing the person they must have manually corrected the error and made me "owner". This makes me wonder whether there is an issue with the template's use of the Blockchain API that renders it unable to recognize pending payments?

Oh yeah, BitBears has been having some issues. I had the same thing you mentioned happen to me with this transaction, despite the fact that I sent my payment 5 minutes before the guy who actually got it (my transaction also confirmed 50 minutes before his...). This was 12 days ago -- I have been waiting on a refund ever since.

I also successfully bought the Bears at 0.2689 BTC on the 17th as "hugo", but the server was disconnected shortly after I purchased them, so nobody could buy the whole time I "owned" them. Not sure if anybody else got the "meh, looks like we are disconnected from our bitcoin server" message, but it lasted the entirety of the two days I owned them until the timer reset -- I know because I would have just bought the Bears from myself to keep it going (but obviously couldn't). Seems fair, right? This was 9 days ago. I am still waiting on a refund of this as well.

I've gotten refunds from BitBears before with no problems (and got refunded 0.05 BTC from a purchase that didn't go through from earlier today), but after initially talking about these transactions with the bitbears@gmail address, I have not heard a peep in over a week.

Vink, if you are out there, I am really looking forward to any sort of response...

Sent over 2.4335 BTC, hopefully the right amount for 30 chips. My math was likely off somehow (I've been struggling today).

Hopefully will be getting some more if I'm able to get an additional transfer completed in time.
