Have you checked today's odds? I would be surprised to see the odds for PSG increase to 1.76 even though yesterday I remember clearly the odds were around 1.62 (Stake.com) so is this a sign? We know that odds can change at any time depending on the total bets placed meaning in the last 12 hours most of the bets were placed on Chelsea side well, that makes me wonder whether these bets are made by regular gamblers or the mafia. To be honest, everyone's confidence in PSG has decreased a bit  Roll Eyes

I will monitor the odds over the next few hours before placing any new bets, at least until the match gets closer to its scheduled time. if the odds for PSG continue to rise until reach 2.00 then I will cancel my previous bet on 1x2 market.

Yeah I remember previously the odds for PSG were exactly what you mentioned, on the other hand, Chelsea was given odds of 5.++. Could there be something unknown such as a PSG player being out of shape or something else? Because I thought the odds would be much lower for PSG as the match approached, like 1.50, because I thought the 1.76 seemed like a trap. Hmmm it seems like we have to be careful when placing bets.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025

I don't think he has because the news that came up two days ago still suggests that John Textor has agreed to sell 43% of his stake at the club to fellow America Woody Johnson. This simply means that, he hasn't yet and remains the majority owner of the club and thus Crystal Palace and Lyon can't play in the same competition. Just like you said, if there's no resolution between them and UEFA, then Nottingham Forest stands to benefit from this rule while Palace will be relegated to the Conference league.
Oh so the share sale is only just entering the discussion stage. If that's the case Palace will have a hard time competing in the Europa League even if they appeal. Ultimately they'll have to let League One side Lyon play considering Lyon finished in sixth place in the standings, which is significantly better than Palace. So it's been decided that Nottingham Forest will replace them as the Premier League representatives in the Europa League.

Could anyone explain why BTC with 158k posts at the second place whereas KCG~ with only 10.3k posts but at the first place in trending statistics of twitter? (whereas I could not get any reason how and why USDT got more posts than BTC still it is at the third place).

Here I doubt about photoshopped image from a bitget shiller.
Welp, you've just answered your own question and that's possible that it's edited and they've made that just to be posted here that there's an ongoing event that as big as the trend for BTC's new ATH.
To prove this I tried displaying the same trending, leaderboard, number of tweets, and categories as an example. Take a look at the image below:

So in my opinion although a larger number of posts doesn't always lead to higher rankings, it usually depends based on user x own search algorithm or the posts they frequently visit, including factors like who they follow.
Or if you have an x account you can also check it directly.

Wow bitcoin holders have been all smiles these past few days. Bitcoin continues to set new ATH and after previously reaching a high of 118k, Bitcoin has recently experienced a slight dip to 117k, but that doesn't mean the bull run is over. I think 120k is just a matter of time. Let Bitcoin catch its breath and we'll see. I'm sure this excitement will continue this year perhaps reaching 130k/150k by the end of the year.

Fabrizio Romano has posted that Real Madrid wants €100m for Rodrygo if he is to leave this summer. First of all, i think that asking fee is outrageous, especially coming from a team that wants to master the art of getting players for free; they already did it with Mbappe and Trent, who knows which players they will court next towards the end of his contract and get him for free.

That said, i am not sure any team would pay €100m for Rodrygo, if that is the money they want, they can as well keep him, i think €80m at the most is a good price to buy Rodrygo.
Perhaps this is Real Madrid tactic, who knows someone might panic and buy him, but considering Rodrygo inconsistent performance a €100 million price tag is indeed very high. In the last transfer window, Manchester City was willing to spend that much but they might not be so interested now. I think Real Madrid still desperately needs his energy, and he might stay at the Bernabeu for a long time, the problem is, in the current squad, Rodrygo doesn't always get a starting spot, which means he needs to move to another club to continue his development at his age.

Turning $0.2 into $10,000 is certainly possible but not for all gamblers or rather not all gamblers are that lucky, I remember a member on this forum sharing a massive win exceeding $10,000 with a small bet on a slot game but remember you shouldn't take the idea of a big win too seriously as it can lead to an obsession with this industry and neglect your limits.

What about you? Do you have a true story to share?
My biggest win was probably around $250 and that was a long time ago.

As of the news today, Crystal Palace has been demoted from the Europa League to the Conference. We still remember how the qualified by beating Manchester City in the FA cup final to get the Europa League ticket. But the twist here is that, they cannot since Lyon too will be playing in the same Europa League. John Textor owns shares in both Palace and Lyon, (I think he owns majority shares) the thus bridges UEFA multi club ownership rules Which simply states that Clubs with the same ownership cannot play in the same competition. Crystal Palace might go to court for this, lol.
Didn't John Textor sell his stake in Crystal Palace to Woody Johnson? Yes the sale took place past UEFA deadline but UEFA should have given some leniency. I heard Crystal Palace has appealed to CAS to be allowed to continue participating in the Europa League. However if the outcome is negative Nottingham Forest will benefit as they could replace Palace in the competition.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
by

When it comes to my opinion, I'm uncertain between Napoli and Inter. Let's see what Chivu has to show us first.  Wink

Judging by the odds on the betting market, Napoli is undoubtedly the favorite to win Serie A, having won twice in the last three seasons. I was just thinking about a new name, because from 2019/20 season until the last season, we always saw other teams becoming champions, and the previous champions couldn't maintain their legacy. If this pattern continues, then Napoli isn't a strong candidate, it could be Inter Milan or Juventus.
Napoli did not make many major changes in its squad compared to other strong candidates so it is quite natural that they are still one of the strongest candidates for the scudetto and may be able to defend the title because if you look at Inter with Chivu for example, where Chivu cannot be said to be an experienced coach to manage a big team so I think he will have quite a hard time in Serie A later, maybe the most reliable to compete with Napoli is AC Milan.

Re: Slots: Same Machine VS Different ones.

Two days ago i decided to wager for the $1k poker tournament:

While the wager is $50, y decided to depo $100 (0.001 btc), And my wager strategy was, 10 $1 spin on each slot until lose all... The fact that i didn't get any bonus after 160 spins makes me wanna try again, And this time i send another 0.001 but this time to "stake", there my strategy was to bet always on the same slot that i have been playing there for a long time, and after some $2 rolls i get a Super Bonus on Nitropolis 4.

What can i say, that x312 wasn't bad at all with a $2 bet... But for a Super Bounus i was expecting the x50,000 (Max win on that slot). Walking away with $100k would be fun.  Tongue

I've used this strategy several times in games I enjoy. Every 10 spins I'd exit and re enter the game. Sometimes it worked as I managed to get scatters with high multipliers on a few tries, but of course most of those attempts failed, btw congratulations on that pretty big win! I can't remember the last time I got a multiplier that high; it's been a long time since I've had such luck. LOL

Re: Most gamblers are actually lucky. The problem is, they were unable to cashout.
by

on 12/07/2025, 10:39:25 UTC

- After winning big, they will set up a loss limit and plan to cash out if it is reached. But the problem is, after hitting the target amount to be lost, they will regret those recent losses and will try to chase it. In the end, no cashout happened.

- Now with big winnings already, instead of withdrawing it, they will push for a much higher bet, thinking it will also give them a good result. Since they are now playing with a higher bet, every dead spin is a big blow. In the end, no cashout happened.

Lol.. I experienced these two important points that you conveyed, I could spend the winnings again instead of withdrawing them with full awareness even though I must admit there was regret after it was all over and saw the wallet return to zero, but most of what I did was cash out the winnings whether it was just a small or big win, sometimes when we are not satisfied in this session then continuing the game is a natural thing and besides since the first deposit we have already accepted that the money will be lost.

Only 2 days to go for the grand final!

Chelsea or PSG? Here is the odds:

• PSG - 1.62
• Draw - 4.40
• Chelsea - 5.20

I don't give draw in regular time any chance truthfully.  Tongue  The side to lift the trophy should be decided without extra time or penalties...

PSG are clear favourites for the win. That's a point nearly everyone agrees on. Yeah, there have been surprises in earlier stages. But I don't feel like Chelsea can do this. PSG are the best team among all by far at the moment...
The difference in odds between these two clubs is so clear, does it seem appropriate to call this match a final? Yes I know and I can understand that PSG is very likely to lift the trophy in fact it could be said that most bettors will bet on PSG, perhaps me too, but I'm still confused by this situation, which feels odd with the bookmaker giving Chelsea odds of 5.20. I remember the past when the Blues beat the on-fire Blaugrana, perhaps Chelsea can repeat that success again. I haven't decided which betting option to place yet, I'll have to see if these odds change.

Re: Is Bitcoin really better than gold for long-term savings?
by

Do you think Bitcoin can really replace gold as a store of value — or should they just complement each other?

I’m curious what older members here think!
Although Bitcoin is still relatively young compared to gold, its growth and success so far have proven to be inflation resistant besides that it's important to remember that Bitcoin supply is limited, similar to gold, making both assets a valuable hedge, regarding your question, Bitcoin isn't yet a short term substitute for gold but it could be in the long term, if you have excess wealth you should diversify across both assets. Bitcoin will provide attractive returns and gold will provide stability.

Re: How did you feels on your first winning?
by

Of course when I look back on my first experience with this industry, I admit I felt proud and happy when I first tasted victory. Admittedly, it fueled my desire to play even more, and I whispered to myself that I already knew the casino weaknesses. But that feeling led me closer to addiction. As a beginner, I didn't know how to discipline myself, and manage my bankroll; I only knew how to play. But slowly, over time, I realized that this place wasn't meant to provide me with long term wins. It was simply a temporary stopover for entertainment.

Re: When can someone say they have won the casino?
by

I believe there are a small number of people who win the jackpot even though that person is not a regular gambler or meaning he only played a few times so it can be said that he beat the casino, but if you look further this is not entirely true because there are also those who win the jackpot after several years of playing and if calculated with the total loss during playing maybe the jackpot still cannot cover the loss besides having to look at the losses of other people so it can be ascertained that we cannot beat the casino because they are designed with a system that always profits, this is business.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025
by

on 11/07/2025, 10:24:46 UTC
I can't say if Chelsea has improved in their performance or not, it's when the new season starts is when we would know. However, their performance in CWC is impressive and their fate will be tested in the finals when they play against PSG who have destroyed and humiliated top big clubs in various leagues in recent times.
The Premier League is a different ball game from the Club World Cup tournament, and it is more difficult than the Club World Cup tournament, so we can't use the fact that Chelsea managed to reach the Club World Cup final to justify or believe that Chelsea has improved in their performance, so I agree with you that it's when the new Premier League season starts that we'll know if Chelsea has truly improved in their performance.
It's not yet time to judge when the Premier League hasn't even started yet, and will Chelsea be as good as before, or even better? No one knows, but what clear is that with the recruitment they've made in this summer transfer window, I believe they haven't made as many mistakes as in previous transfer windows and are certainly only buying the best quality players, such as Joao Pedro, who was one of the best recruits because he immediately performed brilliantly in his debut with Chelsea in the Club World Cup yesterday. Perhaps with this, they will improve their performance in the Premier League later.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25
by

on 11/07/2025, 07:34:47 UTC
There's still plenty of time for Xabi Alonso to improve, and I think it's too early to judge him.
Real Madrid's performance in the Club World Cup wasn't impressive, but Xabi Alonso should still be supported to lead La Liga next season. I'm still very optimistic that Xabi Alonso can make Real Madrid even better next season.
Losing in the FIFA Club World Cup isn't the end of the world, is it? It's unjust to criticize a new coach before the new season begins. The real competition will come after the new season, and Alonso is currently just testing the right strategy and lineup. We all know Madrid has had success in the past, winning the UCL several times, and usually won't repeat past failures. Trust him, Alonso will prove it.
For a team like Real Madrid losing 4-0 in the semi-finals is quite embarrassing, but I don't think it's entirely the coach fault because 3 of the 4 goals were purely the fault of the defenders besides the absence of Trent and Huljsen made everything look different from Madrid previous matches, I would say that their defeat yesterday was an unlucky factor. Let's see in the next season with the changes that Xabi will make, Madrid will be much better and much more prepared.

Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1)
by

on 11/07/2025, 07:10:56 UTC
When I saw PSG's pattern of play against Madrid I felt they would dominate Ligue 1 again. I see their pattern of play is not yet owned by many Ligue 1 teams. Then the gap in players seems to be the deciding factor. Many star players are at PSG, they have long built a TEAM with big money. So their process is visible this year. It seems that they also continue to hunt for new players to add strength next season.  The Enrique factor is also decisive, he can make PSG play more collectively imitating the Barcelona style.
Even though PSG lost to Real Madrid yesterday they will still dominate Ligue 1 because their rivals are not strong enough to compete with PSG. We can see when they are strengthened by Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, when PSG struggled to compete in European competitions, they still won the Ligue 1 trophy easily. It is clearer with their current condition, their dominance in the next season will be much easier and it must be admitted that Enrique is the man behind PSG current success. PSG should be wary of for the next two or three years in European competitions by other strong teams.

For ETH, BNB and SOL clearly have quite a place in the spotlight if the altseason really happens, these three are like the parents of altcoins. Today ETH also touched the $3000 point, so this opening will be a strong signal for altcoin projects. In addition, when altcoin sentiment starts to be considered bullish, it will make new projects maximize token releases.

Napoli could make such a move if the deal with Galatasaray falls through but I don't think Liverpool are too interested in Osimhen because if they really wanted him, they would have negotiated a player exchange with Nunez and Napoli would also benefit by getting Nunez + additional money from Liverpool, or maybe Liverpool want to wait for Osimhen to become a free agent, I don't know, I think Osimhen situation is quite complicated because he is having difficulty leaving Napoli until the current summer transfer window.
Basically Galatasaray would convince Liverpool instead of Napoli Cheesy Like not even pay Napoli, just pay Liverpool, and get Nunez to Napoli and Osimhen to themselves that way lol. Because we all know, whatever Galatasaray pays, will go to Nunez probably, maybe a bit more money could be left.

Last I saw from twitter, it's 5 year deal for 75 million, which would be 15 million a year, not a lot of money at all, definitely could be paid by Galatasaray considering it is not 75 million suddenly, just 15 upfront, and next 15 is next year, so it's fine. With that kind of payment deal, they can get him. Also, Liverpool could end up doing this fine as well, doesn't feel like it would be that bad, both of the situation a lot better for all three teams.
Yes, it seems that according to today latest news from my notifications, Galatasaray will be the ones to sign Osimhen. Honestly I'm not happy if that happens, even if Osimhen can play in the UCL with Galatasaray, because I'd love to see him play for a higher-level team, and it's a shame that Osimhen has to be bought in installments. It's a shame perhaps that this is Napoli only way to remain profitable, considering they'll miss out on an opportunity like this next year.

Re: Changing strategy to win !
by

on 10/07/2025, 13:53:35 UTC
What I understand is that changing strategies will only work in the short term but in the long term it will be in vain, especially in the long term the casino always has the upper hand, what needs to be understood is that gambling with expenses that we are willing to lose because this is the core strategy in gambling, I understand that we want to win a lot in this industry but we also have to be realistic that this is not a place to continuously seek profits, moreover if we continue to change strategies it will make us lose discipline.
