The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.3b_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:

  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no

  • RTX 3060 LHR       ~ 50 MH/s
  • RTX 3060 Ti LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 LHR       ~ 60 MH/s
  • RTX 3070 Ti LHR       ~ 81 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 10GB LHR   ~ 98 MH/s
  • RTX 3080 Ti LHR       ~ 120 MH/s

  • Dual mining TON
  • Fixed an issue with expired SSL certificate that led to "certificate verify failed" errors when connecting to some pools (notably Ethermine) when using SSL connections
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

Known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:

If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

If its the IP that you're looking at I would assume its because, like I said, they room together. I just wanted to clear it up so no misconceptions were floating around Smiley

I hope they are enjoying themselves. I am working on new features which should be released soon.

1 Person using multiple accounts at the same time or otherwise is not against any (current) rules. It actually creates a potential opportunity for other real players to rank up quicker.

Cool glad to hear that you're still working on features for these servers it's great! And on the topic of new features I fear I have strayed from my personal philosophy of being a dedicated lurker and have strayed into the role of just a lurker and have not been so dedicated lately :O Is there any updates on all the things happening in the HYPER space? How's the whitepaper doing? The online wallet? And the game for mobile? These are just some of the many projects that I was looking very much forward to seeing the development of, and haven't seen much the few times that I have been on lately. Any

Hyperzanda is the only one... I've played myself.... And I have yet to earn 1 hyper. As far as the rest of the games go... not everybody has credit cards to buy the game-clients on steam... THAT"S why I made my earlier statement... The only "free" game on the list (hyperzanda) is pretty much
useless...

Team Fortress 2 is free and is part of a monthly competition which pays out HYPER. http://hypercrypto.com/wiki/index.php/Monthly_Team_Fortess_2_Blitz

Who told you that you would receive HYPER for playing HYPERzanda at www.hyperzanda.com? How much SHY do you have?

Team Fortress 2 is a great and FREE game although beating the first 3 guys on the top list will be difficult, almost impossible check this,Team Fortress 2 - player ranking because devbergey and Mr ONE DOUBLE are/is one player...and he can make like 15000 points in a day for both steam accounts...oh well i am the third one Smiley.... dont mind the reward, come and enjoy the game.

I had not noticed that those accounts were the same individual. He has 2 separate accounts on the forums. Perhaps we should take action? Never the less I am not sure why you think that gives him an advantage. If you enter the server he is playing on and proceed to kill him on one or both accounts for ~2hours you will rank above him, and have taken all his points from him. You could go grind against the low rated bots which he grinds against, slowly building up points in the same way he does, or play against him directly in game and rank up in a short period of time. If he is automating play he should be banned, but yours is the first report I have ever heard regarding those (that) player(s).

Unrelated notes: All of the US-West game servers are down. Will return asap. There are a few pending withdrawals from the CS servers that have not been processed, all apologies, waiting on HYPERfuture to send over more funds.

Actually they're not one person, it's two separate players, I know them both personally and they are just roommates at university nothing more nothing less just participating in the competitions like anyone else would to earn some delicious HYPER Smiley . You should change the Reward Concept to make more ppl play vs other players and not only farming bots like crazy.

How? What kind of a reward concept would make more people play vs other players?

The server originally only exchanged HYPER between real players. Naturally people requested that be changed.

Thanks for the input.

I think there are Dayz and garrysmod HYPER servers. Hmm, maybe not, I do not see them listed on the wiki. You can not run your own servers for H1Z1 and Dota2, how would HYPER be integrated into those games?

I dont know if it makes any sense to reward this stupid bot farming at all then.
I saw dudes running tru and planting the bomb for hours vs Bots.
This is just BS imo.

Then better go and reward People for playing on your Servers at all, instead of having 10 hardheaded guys that farm these games like a job?

What about online Tournaments with hyper Prices on a regular Basis and promote that on some E-Leagues ?
What about a Steam Group ?

You maybe could arrange some Tournaments for Dota2 aswell.

H1z1 is out of question then.
So maybe a Left for Dead2 or a DayZ server ?

IMO:
You need a bigger Audience, more serious Players and more Recognition outside Cryptoland to make the next step , so maybe arranging a Tournament for Dota2/CSGO is the Way to go.

Just some Thoughts.
Keep up the good work.
I really like the Concept.

Hi Rumhurius,

I 100% agree! Ignatius and I had some conversations about this on the HYPER forum, and the community also discussed this a bit here on the ANN thread. Your idea is not new, and it's definitely something we want to do IMO. We already have 2 steam groups already although they aren't particularly active I think. Competition and community is a great idea and has been HyperGG's main goal. I think Ignatius is doing a great job with the servers, but I'm not the biggest faucet-type fan. I think even having pretty much the same current server setup except with rewarding headshots or something to encourage more competitive players to play and get better through reward is a very workable idea. Also, hosting scrim matches may be worthwhile too! Tournaments would be great, but they would only really work with a large pool of interested players. There is a lot of creativity that can be utilized to make the servers more popular, but I understand if there is opposition to this. Afterall, the servers you mention are owned by Ignatius. You can set up your own servers to pursue what you think will work. It's something I plan to set up one way or another through HyperGG or other means soon.

If you have any other ideas, feel free to share them!  Smiley

I agree with you guys as well, it's something that lately I have been thinking about. We need HYPER to be a coin of use and not one that everyone gets and holds. IMO that is what will kill a coin if everyone just holds, we need to seriously encourage spending and transferring coins among people. I'll admit I am one of the people that holds what coins I have. I have posted early on about the tournament idea and feel like it should be as much of a priority as the MMO is. With the web wallet coming out soon I feel like it will help in the way of setting up a tournament. If we can encourage spending coins in game as much as earning them as well we really will hit the moon, and I feel a well advertised and attended tournament is the way to go. Especially because there is so many easy ways to spend and earn HYPER at a tournament like this. For example earning could be set up like it is now or just have a prize list of HYPER for 1st 2nd 3rd etc etc. And as for spending I see it just as easy with betting, subscribing to a channel to watch the matches (maybe passes so like so much HYPER for a single game, or a day pass, or a whole tournament pass), stickers and skins are a big thing as well so if we could advertise HYPER bundle and the trading reddit where you can get these things for HYPER easily. Tl;Dr I feel like our main objective should not only be game develop but also the movement of HYPER between addresses and I feel like one of the first ways we should work to achieve that is a tournament IMO. Keep up the great work though guys we still have amazing developments coming out very often its great!!

The Hyper CSGO servers have been seeing a lot of activity today (well, 5-9 real players), been having some fun on those Cheesy. Not to mention it's been blinking like mad on Bittrex, seems to be rising pretty fast. I'm in. Not to mention I'm an avid gamer so what a fucking awesome coin. Just wish the servers were more active.

My brother plays CSGO semi-pro ranked MGE, I've got him in to it and he's going to be telling his premade who hopefully will start playing at the servers and using them to bet against other premades with eventually.

Guys we should really organise some events at the CSGO servers, set some dates and times and bet on some games against eachother. I've always dreamt of being able to do this with crypto and now here it is, just needs more players.

But yeah guys we should seriously do some 5v5's, 25 hyper per player must bet.
Thing is I'm guessing obviously anyone can bet on a team even if they're not playing or whatever. How could we prevent people not playing effectively "stealing" a players bet spot? Unless we organise the players some other way and have the hyper server wallet bets for observers?

But yeah, fucking cracking idea guys.

Lets get some events going and fill the servers up, we'll Twitch stream this shit etc.

I'm 100% in on this. I've been betting skins  on csgolounge for a month now and I'm pretty familiar to the professional scene now. Betting crypto would be really awesome .I would help setup the stream if there is any need for me. Or I can be a chat mod. Doesn't matter. I wanna help with something Smiley)

Awesome exciting times ahead! We should organize a match soon I think Wink

Hey you all better be waiting for me!! My computer has been down and out for like a month now and I should have it back this weekend (my refurbished motherboard is coming then). But seriously I would love to play some serious matches and try and start some competitive 5v5 matches on the servers. I think it would be awesome to get HYPER into the competitive scene as best as we can, whether its making our own tournaments or setting up some kinda betting system. I don't know how viable it would be to seek out a partnership with a betting site (csgolounge or /r/csgobetting or others) but I think that would do a lot for our great community, adding HYPER tips to /r/csgobetting for analyses or even bet HYPER on there, or the same for csgolounge!!

Wow, a lot has happened! I am coming back this weekend to get my hands dirty again  Wink. I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years!

A very user-friendly web wallet will be complete for beta testing in a few days. This will be integrated into HyperGG chat channels that are currently being worked on. All Beta testers can receive hundreds of HYPER (even thousands) by having suggestions or reporting bugs. I will be giving out more info soon!

Yeah it has! And that sounds great will the web wallet have a staking feature on it where our coins will have the same 5% interest that we get with client side wallets? Thanks!

Here comes the Dump. Get your profits now.

Where is this dump you speak of? Up 71% today, not bad from a high of up over 200% Heh  Grin  Wink

This is a quality coin the rest of the community is beginning to value Hyper for the innovation play it is, like Geifer said on twitter people are also leaving Paycoin and we are right next to them on Bittrex so we are benefiting from the misfortune/scamminess of another coin... "Lucky to have good luck" as the saying goes or whatever I don't care it's going up  Cheesy  Smiley

There'll be a dump there always is for alt's no matter what happens people want a profit ... the real test is how the coin responds and we all know HYPER will respond very well because we are here to hold!!

But guys. I guess HYPER have reached a new price floor. 20k sat. right? we're on our way up. The real value isn't the price you see on bittrex. It might be FAR more.

Hey all! As a heads-up, HYPER will have its very own banner on RPG Paradise soon, a growing RPG-based news, guide, review, etc. network! This will help increase its awareness right where it matters: with gamers.

As part of this, I created a banner and I'd love to know your thoughts on it. This is going to be placed at the top of the site, to the right of the name (in the leaderboard spot):

Thanks guys!

Hey thanks for your work ranlo! Maybe it would look better if the text was gold? But I also quite like it as it is. Excited to see the article and ads on your site.

Will reply to your PM tomorrow Wink

Thanks einsteinium it's a pleasure!

Please support the new HYPER dice site with investment option like just-dice guys! Have a few rolls who knows maybe you will win lots of HYPER https://luckyalt.com/hypercrypto

Check this one out? Smiley

Huge improvement I think.

Yep,  that's more better! Thank you!

Agreed! Also, website is down.  Sad
Depending on the theme of the website, you can maybe put the background of the banner as black, so that the gold HYPER logo and text can pop out. But, this would also mean the right game icons would have to fit with that background. Regardless, thank you ranlo! Didn't know you were involved with a RPG reviews/guides website!

einsteinium, could you also give us like a quick sentence or two describing what the Havekes project is? It wasn't super clear to me but sounds interesting.

Yeah, server's being moved to a new node so I figured "hey, now's a good time to deal with server updates!" Somehow, I completely crashed the web server and I've spent the last 6+ hours trying to get it back up. I'm a complete newb to CentOS (and Linux in general) and it's getting rough, Sad.

Trying to get it back up ASAP.

I also like the banner and think that the gold was a good change, the only other thing that I would say is the icons. I do not believe that moocraft is our official Minecraft server anymore (am I right on this?), so maybe change that Icon to one for the pixlemon server or another popular server that we have. But other than that I really like it, good work!

HYPER has been running over budget due to all of the awesome projects people are working on (Spending has been high on projects like $100 steam game competitions, PR campaigns, projects like HYPER Poker, ad campaigns, monthly game server hosting costs, HYPER gaming competitions and many other HYPER bounties being paid out).

Soon, there will only be 450 000 HYPER left in the HYPER MMO Development Fund after bounties are paid for new website design, competitions, and HYPER Poker site.

Please let me know your thoughts in the poll guys. Should we limit spending or should we keep sponsoring projects and aim for a 400 000 MMO Development Fund? Or should we tighten spending until the fund stakes back up to 500 000 HYPER? Personally I want to keep sponsoring more HYPER games and projects and would like to aim for 400 000 HYPER to be the new HYPER MMO Development Fund.

However, this is an important issue so I want the community to decide.

As there don't seem to be many trolls anymore I think it is best we keep this original HYPER thread so people can see the coin has had a long development history. Majority voted to keep this original HYPER thread also in the last poll.

Mathematically spoken it would take about 2.16 months (2 months and 5 days) to recover from 450.000 hyper to 500.000 HYPER at a 5% interest.

In the long term it would be best to always have a large development fund. If we aim for 400.000 hyper it would take 4.57 months (4 months and 17 days) to recover, so that's a lot longer. I wouldn't be surprised if more HYPER projects are being worked on, more servers are hosted. The result of that would be that even more HYPER would be spent, so it could be we run over budget even faster.

Just wanted to say that

Yes but it will take longer than 2.16 months as some spending (HYPER game server hosting costs, HYPER gaming competitions, HYPER twitter marketing (not willing to cut that) will be spending some of the staked HYPER each month.

I will put together a monthly budget when I have time so everyone can see the exact MINIMUM HYPER cost per month.

In my mind the difference between 400 000 and 500 000 is arbitrary and HYPER is most likely going to be worth a lot more soon so in real terms the 400 000 will be worth more than 500 000 is now anyway. If we go to 400 000 that would be the new fund amount it would be too detrimental to not sponsor any projects until the fund is back to 500 000 from 400 000. And we get more exciting projects like the Poker site rather than waiting 2 months or more to be able to pay development for more projects like that!

More game servers doesn't mean more HYPER has to be spent each month (except hosting) as people can integrate HYPER in ways where people spend HYPER in the server too.

400 000 is still plenty of HYPER, it will stake more than enough each month to cover the minimum costs of the HYPER project and will also allow for some big projects every month or two as well. But that is my view which is why I have opened it for voting!

I meant to say that we have to deduct the current costs, so that indeed it will take longer. Forgot to include that in my post somehow, so yea would probably take a bit longer. I certainly don't want HYPER to cut on the big projects like the PR campaign and gaming competitions. And for the game servers I meant indeed the hosting alone (which can be costly at times). But you are right when (if) HYPER is going to be worth more soon the difference wouldn't really matter.

Both have their own advantages and disadvantages ...

I feel like we should be careful with spending just because it can be a slippery slope ... Now I don't mean this in anyway bad I'm just trying to say that the future is unpredictable as anything. I have such high confidence and hope in HYPER that I don't see an issue but small things can make big impacts. Also another reason why I feel like we should limit spending is because like Nicholas said it'd take around around 2 omega to stake back up and even if it took longer I don't think that'd be a problem. If more severs are developed and more items are being added and we are still in our time of saving, in my own opinion I feel like if I actually an spring HYPER and am not in it for the money I am okay with waiting for a bounty or some HYPER to help out or whatever.

Tl;Dr : I feel like we should save just to be on the careful side, we are new enough and are prospering enough that it would be best to be safe and save.

Thanks for all the great work I think I'll have to hop on the poker site when I get home from work. Thanks for all the great work everyone, and I how that you all had a good Christmas or a good break! Smiley

Hey guys, I have a question about the wallet I recently got my brother into HYPER and he's been playing on the CS:GO server for a bit now and he has earned a few coins. The problem comes in that he is not able to stake nor has he received any coins from staking either. Is there anything that you could think of that would cause this or any possible fixes for this issue? I have tried all that I know to help him fix the problem so any tips or suggestions are welcome but I may have tried them, thanks guys!!

P.S. Oh and as a side note, LOVE the things that are happening right now, any word on the poker site haven't checked into it too much lately Tongue

Hi iSac,

1) What version of the wallet does your brother have?
2) Does he have HYPER on his desktop wallet or daemon? Or does he have it on an exchange account or purely on the blockchain with no actual wallet?
3) Has he moved his HYPER anywhere within 24 hours or has it been sitting idle for more than a day?

And, I haven't heard anything from the poker site. I think HYPERfuture would know more about this, as I'm not involved with that.

1) He's got the most current version of the wallet (1.5.2 or whatever it is)
2) Its all on his desktop wallet
3) We just tested it by doing that so yeah we just made some transactions back and forth to see if that would reset the age of the coins (it didnt Sad)

Thanks for the tips and info! Sounds good ...

Hey iSac

We can definitely resolve this problem.

Please let me know:

- How much HYPER does your brother have in his wallet? If he has a small amount (less than 1000) it may take a few days to start staking as smaller amounts are given lower priority as opposed to someone who has a lot more HYPER in their wallet (like 30 000 or so) and is trying to stake at the same time. The good news is you will ALWAYS get the 5% monthly even if it takes a few days to start staking.

So please let me know how much HYPER your brother has in his wallet. Please also DO NOT reset coin-age again. This will just hold up the process. If he has a small amount it might take much longer than 24 hours to start staking but it WILL stake at 5% per month eventually guaranteed!

Lastly, his wallet is definitely unlocked and fully synced with the HYPER network? He hasn't locked his wallet with a password? If he has he will need to unlock it to start staking.

P.S HYPER Poker site should be released in the middle of this week before Christmas! The head developer is currently in testing Wink

Alright we'll hold off on resetting the coin age again, and yes he has very little as he is still very new and has only earned HYPER through CS:GO and hasn't bought any off an exchange or so. His wallet is password encrypted but it is not locked, it is fully synced as well to the network, I believe he has 13 active connections. I will get him to make sure that his wallet is open for 24 hours+ (This means his laptop should be on and not in sleep mode or anything correct?). I will make sure to get back to you guys after the 24 hour period to see if anything has changed. Thanks for all the help guys!

Sounds great can't wait to try it out, when it is released!
