I haven't got a NMC address on Eligius maybe I have a "huge" amount saved NMC since 06/2014  Wink

My first NMC payment from Eligius was in 2013. I have always converted mine to BTC, 0.275btc so far.

Is anybody using this company to host miners or does anyone talk to Lauren or Allen?

I have been using them since 2016 to host a miner but it stopped weeks ago and I have been unable to get a response from email to either Allen Oh or Lauren Miehe, I have tried their Support Page, also PM's to Lauren Miehe aka Dalkore on this site. I have also tried phoning but that just rings out. Does anyone have contact with them?

I am running out of options so I added this thread here, @mods if there is a better sub-forum then please tell me.

By the way, I've never understood why every in the USA calls my name and pool "KayNo" - it's not Tongue
It's Ka like "Car" without the "r"
There is no way to say "Kay" in Japanese, the sound doesn't exist.

Because Americans speak English with an American accent. American has morphed and they now do not like a syllable ending with a vowel, so instead of saying Ka they have to add the 'n' and that makes it sound like 'can'. They are also losing the concept of constants that sound like a vowel but change the syllable, forcing isolated vowels to be extended,  so instead of saying 'Ka' followed by 'no' it changes to 'can' followed by 'ou'.

Received pronunciation, old chap, just as my mater and pater would enunciate.

English, fantastic expandable language, spoken in so many different accents and none of them are wrong.

Queue the thread replies of 'You haven't paid me,  you haven't paid me' and 'Your gonna run away with the btc'

One day they will learn to read back a few pages, to find out why and then hopefully cotton on that everything in the world is not instant.

Well done Wizz, I thought that it would be and it has been worth the wait to keep on mining at Eligius. Finger crossed that the change to Eligius-Hu improves all of our luck Smiley

I have always been after this type of data, or more to the point the raw data underneath. I am not sure what BDR is ...

I don't mean to be rude but to believe this "conspiracy" requires ignorance about how mining actually works...

Not offence taken,  and yes a share is the correct term. I will look further into how the pool generates the work for the miner, the response and what it is combined with from the pool to form the answer.

My thanks to Kano for expanding on BDR as well.

Well in case anyone was wondering about pool changes (and someone commented before)

Blocks have been found since all changes that have occurred.
i.e. the pool does find blocks with the current configuration.
I'm not using any of the current ckpool git segwit which doesn't work.

The bad luck itself (as I posted before) has quite clearly been since the last block in November.

Now for some statistics (since the middle of May) I mentioned I'd post sooner or later:
Code:
Name         CDF[Erl]
S9v1         0.994766  103.6 BDR   79 Blocks
strat 0.8.x  0.883100   15.0 BDR   11 Blocks
A6+?         0.881335   83.2 BDR   73 Blocks
proxy 1      0.776782    6.5 BDR    5 Blocks
A7v1         0.772224    6.5 BDR    5 Blocks
S7+S5+?(4.8) 0.627001  307.3 BDR  302 Blocks
ckpool                   5.7 BDR    6 Blocks
S?+? (4.7)   0.298274   16.5 BDR   19 Blocks
S9v2         0.223353   10.2 BDR   13 Blocks
A?+? (4.9)   0.040362  143.3 BDR  165 Blocks

strat 0.5/0.6            0.4 BDR    0 Blocks

Total 668.1 BDR  678 Blocks
'strat' is stratehm stratum proxy

The total stats since May is:
Block finders: 753.8 BDR  750 Blocks
Non-block Finders: 3.5 BDR

I have always been after this type of data, or more to the point the raw data underneath. I am not sure what BDR is or what the math is behind your CDF figure but given the raw data is it possible for you to confirm that all of the devices are finding a similar number of blocks on average for the same amount of work. I want to put to bed the conspiracy that a particular type of miner firmware could send a low number of successful blocks to a different IP than the pool it is working for.  A single UDP packet containing a small simply encrypted string to a common range of IP addresses such as one in AWS would be difficult to spot but 1 in a 100 or so additional found blocks would certainly help a pool out. Data like this would help to spot an underperforming type of miner.

Looks like they are confiscating gold from India's people. Jewelry also.
And to balance that with the Official stance:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/No-tax-on-jewellery/gold-purchased-out-of-disclosed-income-Finance-Ministry/articleshow/55724734.cms
It is Gold from undisclosed income they are after.

Most Indian's don't trust banks because they have had so many failures of the last century, they store wealth in wearable gold instead. The I-T Act allows the seizure of gold including jewellery if you have more than $19K per married lady, $8.5K per unmarried lady and $3.8K per male. You then have to prove where you got it from to get it back. Good luck with that in a country where the average worker is paid in cash with no receipt.

Just thought I'd update here on my repair process with my Batch 23 Antminer S9.
It arrived last week and this week 2 boards stopped operating. I contacted bitmain and was told to return the unit to Hong Kong as per usual. After I complained about the shipping cost being too high bitmain offered to cover the return shipping. So far I must say the service is excellent and did not expect this from bitmain due to the high complaints about warranty. I was pretty shocked when they said they would pay for all round shipping. Great service so far and really gives me hope that they still care about customers.
I hope other people dealing with repairs get the same treatment as this

Date checked and it is not the 1st April, next step order sanity check.

Huobi has BTC at 801USD Holy crap.

You should take a look at the price of bitcoin in some Indian bitcoin exchanges.
Price of bitcoin going to pump up soon.
 Cheesy
Indians getting the big screw job from the govt. They are smart, they will figure out bitcoin is a great thing.

Nah! They already use gold as their store of wealth.

If these are coming through bitshopper.de then I will buy a few as well. The reduction in shipping and import VAT makes it a payable hobby again in the UK.

Bitmain's latest wheeze is not to accept packages from courier's forcing them to be returned to the sender.

I had two boards from two different S7's that died, raised repair tickets and sent them, one is one its way back the other will be at some point. Now the warranty period has run out so they will not repair them.

Congratulations on keeping positive Whizkid!

Ignore the whiners, you have proved yourself as both honourable and trustworthy too many times. The veteran/supporting miners and those that understand that variance means 'have multiple miners at more than one pool dumb arse!' will still be around for the next manual pay out.

My thanks and keep up the good work!
