Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate?
by

ICOs is just geting old, and IEOs are born to replace them,
Just like before, investing in ICOs pay back alot but very risky too.
IEOs in the other hand, is a safer way (with the big exchages, atleast), the way that investors spread their money quicker but not worry about scaming,
But with Bittrex scenario, not always right though
IEO is born to help exchanges raising their funds more easily. I saw so many projects that started last year, failed with their ICOs, then recent months they came back with IEOs. Personally, I will stay away from those projects and their IEOs due to their last failures with ICOs.

Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering)
by

I saw lots of projects that started nearly one year ago, then recently revived with IEOs. I don't think investors should invest in such projects, because they are likely tried to scam one more time. Their past efforts with ICOs failed, and now they made another try with IEOs. Be careful with those revived projects that join the IEO-trend.

Re: Protecting Your Computer?
by

on 23/07/2019, 15:27:51 UTC
I have never downloaded a special protection program for crypto like that on my computer, because in my opinion the most important thing to protect our own wallet is to keep our private key properly, and don't tell anyone about our private key, and avoid all phishing things site
The more third-party wallets, apps we download and install to use, the more risks we take ourselves. I totally agreed with you that keeping private keys safely is enough to protect our funds. Of course, computers need to have protections from threats and we should spend small funds to buy and install reliable internet security / antivirus softwares. I suppose to install internet security softwares, which gives more advanced protections.

not all IEO will give you profit, some IEO end badly and experience price declines when they start trading. for that, keep doing research before you join because the IEO also has a huge risk
There is no kind of investment is easy to get profits, includes IEOs. You are right my friend, but I would like to emphasize that most of IEOs give investors losses, there are only minority of IEOs give investors profits. They are rare and mostly come from big exchanges. IEOs is not the place for you to gamble, because you might get losses.

Re: Will IEO be good in the future?
by
im_not_dazzled
on 13/07/2019, 15:49:40 UTC
I think the IEO has various advantages, especially in terms of exchange listings compared to ICO, in my opinion, the IEO will have a good future because their tokens will stay alive in the market, the possibility of failure will also decrease slightly.
It totally depends on quality of exchanges. There are shit projects and their shit ICOs. There are shit exchanges and their IEOs. Quality of projects/ or exchanges that stay behind ICOs or IEOs is very important, and will mainly identify success of investments.

Re: [ANN] [PoW] [PoS] VEIL - Privacy without compromise
by
im_not_dazzled

Yes, within a short period of time it is impossible to make a profit on the investment and every time we cannot make the same amount because once the development team is doing good then the community will start buying a huge amount of coins for staking.
It is a very complicated situation. When price of VEIL is low, more staking reward per day due to low difficulty. When price of VEIL moves higher, lower staking reward per day with the same amount of coins used for staking. Generally, it is always better to invest when coin has low price, and stake when difficulty is low, especially if you see good potential and believe in future of the coin.

by

The project, although it continues to work, looks like it was abandoned.
Devs are worth more shell on the forum because the questions why the synchronization of the wallet does not go, I have not received any answers. Such failures are simply unacceptable.

It is obviously that the project was abandoned for years, because the last active day of OP is on March 01, 2018, 02:19:56 AM. In addition, OP made only a single post, that is the OP, no thing more after years of the thread. When devs abandoned, and community don't take over projects, networks will become dead too, because no one mine/ stake a dead coin.

What's up with everyone blasting their scammy masternode service? They're easy to setup and run yourself.
It is true that investors should not join shared masternodes, because platforms that host and run shared masternodes might turn into scam with fastly and suddenly scam exits. No one knows when they make scam exits, so it is much safer to control private keys and setup masternodes by themselves, rather than putting all their assests to control of third parties.

Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member
by
im_not_dazzled
on 09/07/2019, 13:19:09 UTC
Some time back project announcements were usually made by high ranked members because it was perceived they were more trust worthy and things went on smoothly but with time you expect change and now this is possible with any account(copper member for lowest rank) and issues of trust are all a matter of how good a project is and not the announcer.
It is never good to naively believe that projects opened by high ranked users are good ones. It is main reasons why people (scammers) tend to buy high ranked accounts to make OPs of their projects. At the ends, those projects run by bought accounts mostly end as dead ones. It might be not exactly 100 percent, but most of them end as scam projects. Moreover, Copper Member accounts do not equal more reliable ones.

Re: [ANN][MASTERNODE] Blocknode - Business Orientated Rewards
by

Mobile wallet for Blocknode and bounty (10 for each) has been run. On Crypto Bridge, the price of Blocknode fluctuated from 2 satoshis to 6 satoshis over the last two days. Those prices are very very low. I remembered that back in 2018, Blocknode has its price much higher than 100 satoshis - maybe around 130 satoshis if I remembered exactly (on Cryptopia exchange, before that exchange got hacked).

Metal Musicoin v3 should be listed on exchange, but for now, it maybe better to see the team focus on technical developments.
After that, marketing, and partnership initiatives to spread the project out.
Next, exchanges will be the last step to bring the one to crypto investors.

by

Freelancing is a very popular job and developers have chosen the right industry in which you want to enter the blockchain.
Freelancing is a big open market, that will be invaded by blockchain startups soon.
However, I saw some projects aim at the freelancing market, and failed.

Agree, actually i don't follow the trend of price cryptocurrencies in daily, but i followed the progress of ethereum classic ETC, i mean in fundamental ethereum classic from the developer and the community.
Crypto coins will rise at their right time.
In the meantime, it does not make sense to watch price from day to day.
I usually hang out and do something to relax when there is no wave on market.

by

Would you prefer him ignoring the project completely? At least we know someone is working his ass to create BSD adoption out there. What do you do other than hodling? Not that I'm underestimating "hodling" but promoting the project actively is so much harder than just hodling passively.
Bitsend has long history, massive give away, and it is reliable, in my opinion.
Bitsend team abandoned the project after years developed it.
I don't think so any time in my life.
