Manchester United are desperately looking for a number 9 that can help them lead the attack, from how they have been roaming around the transfer market it doesn't look like they are settling for any attacker as in a world class striker... It seems they have these two players on their radar for some time now, so who's best to lead Manchester United attack judging by their stats of last season... Nicolas Jackson or Benjamin Šeško?
It’s surprising to see Manchester United trying to sign Jackson, among all the number 9 available, why is Manchester United even planning to sign Jackson? Seriously it’s just going to be like a waste of money if Manchester United end up signing Jackson, because I don’t really know what Jackson is going to offer Manchester United, it’s just better they go for a better player.

We all saw how Jackson played at Chelsea last season, his performance was just so terrible, we saw the chances that Jackson missed last season, we saw unnecessary red cards which he received, I don’t know what’s special about Jackson that’s making Manchester United go for him, seriously if Manchester United can sign Jackson, then Jackson is definitely going to disappoint them, if they need a number 9, it’s just better the search for other players, and I won’t even recommend they go for Jackson.
Manchester United likely won't sign Jackson, as Chelsea asking price is too high, which is certainly a major obstacle. Recent rumors suggest Manchester United are pursuing other players, with Ollie Watkins, Randal Kolo Muani, and Dusan Vlahovic all on their radar. Ruben Amorim was also reportedly interested in Benjamin Sesko. What's clear is that Manchester United need to overhaul their forward line, Hojlund isn't good enough to be relied upon.

I kind of like the idea because Mbappe is the left winger number one in my opinion and if he gets to play in his preferred position, Real Madrid would finally get the best of him. He has been playing in the center so many games, when he played for PSG he played there too sometimes, but it is not his best position. He will still score a higher number of goals, but he can't give the team as a whole what he could give them if he played in his favorite position. However, there will be big resistance I think from many of those who are either in charge there or negotiated the deals with Vinicius. It could be the right decision if they find the optimal striker.
It's true that Mbappe natural position is on the left wing, but I don't think Xabi Alonso would take a big risk by switching Vinicius to a center forward. Over time, I think Vinicius and Mbappe will develop the desired chemistry, they just need support and creativity from midfield to score more goals next season. In reality, Real Madrid attack doesn't have any major issues, their current weakness lies in defense.

Some times a player can be good but his character is one thing that can cause problems between him and the coach and Sancho is one player that is a good example of that he should try and bring down his head so that he will not have problem with Coaches

Indeed a player who cause troubles, having problems with the coach or with another or some players in the team that affect the results will be someone who has to be kicked from the team or put aside until his contract runs out.
Fortunately the number of these players aren't that much in different leagues but their attitudes is hard to change.
In the past, we only speculated about what happened in the dressing room, whether it was a fight between a player and a manager, or something else. We only knew the truth when it happened on the pitch, but now social media often reveals everything easily. As I recall, Sancho publicly denied Ten Hag statements on social media, which led to his exclusion from the Manchester United first team. However, Sancho was fortunate enough to be offered a six month loan by Dortmund. Balotelli is another example, he struggles to manage his ego and often has problems with managers, which slowly made his career fall apart.

I feel sorry for Joao Felix, he has struggled to stay consistent and has been involved in several moves lately but still no stability. Chelsea are considering selling him this summer but I doubt they will be able to get their money’s worth back from his transfer because since he hasn’t made any significant improvement to boost his market value.
I think Chelsea will try to cash in on Joao Felix as soon as possible, before his market value drops further. His loan spell with AC Milan wasn't smooth sailing. I think Joao Felix had time played well and almost rediscovered his best form when he joined Barcelona. Unfortunately, Barcelona couldn't make his move permanent, as they were facing financial difficulties and spending restrictions.
Although Chelsea incurred a loss, after spending around 45 million to make Joao Felix move permanent, that loss isn't greater than what Atletico experienced when they signed him from Benfica. Joao Felix is under contract with Chelsea until June 2031, and it's currently rumored he's getting closer to a return to Benfica.

On this specific case, I don’t agree that if you allow to use your KYC detail just to get your child big win is a sign that you support his underage gambling activities.

It’s right thing to collect the money he won fairly since it’s already there. The only thing you can do is to educate them and not tolerate him after you get the money because after all he deserves that profit.

You are just supporting him if you allow him to gamble for more after you complete the KYC.

I really don't know what would do in such situation. I do not support underage gambling in any case, but if the money is already won it would be waste to pass that opportunity. I would seek some solution to withdraw the money but at the same time I'd have some serious discussion with my kid and wouldn't give him that money until he's mature enough to use it responsibility.
Here's the English translation of your thoughts:

Every parent seems to face a dilemma in situations like this. On one hand, providing data for KYC verification might give the impression that we condone our children gambling, as if money can change our principles. On the other hand, since the children may have spent a lot of money gambling, it would be a shame not to cash out those funds. I think many people would take a middle ground, so am I, we still cash out the money to save it, and then advise and forbid their children from gambling in the future. I wouldn't use that money. I'd tell them I'd return it to them once they reached 18 years old. This would demonstrate my authority as a parent, emphasizing disapproval of their gambling activities all this time.

I only see envy and nothing more. If Al Nassr gives Ronaldo such power and they listen to his decisions, it shows that Ronaldo is not take as a player anymore but as part of the board of advisors for the club. That's what I think, if not Ronaldo wouldn't be given such power. Ronaldo is a super figure in football and he talks by experience, and he's highly influential.

At the age of 40, he should no longer be a player, but instead be on the sidelines to pioneer a career as a coach. But unfortunately, this megastar from Portugal has never shown his interest in becoming a coach, and on the other hand, many people still want to continue watching his progress on the field, there are still many clubs and leagues that need him to continue to play, because he has a very big appeal in the world of football and sports. Indeed, the club that wants to sign him and must spend a lot of money, and meet the requirements put forward by the player, which makes CR7 more than just a player. But on the other hand, with CR7's presence at Al Nassr, his presence has also provided many benefits for the club and the Saudi Arabian league.
I'd love to see Ronaldo become a manager after he retires, and I think a lot of people feel the same way. He might be just as great as a manager. After renewing his contract with Al Nassr, we can continue to watch him play for the next two seasons. Without a doubt, Ronaldo is like a magnet in the Saudi Pro League, he has a huge influence on its development. We probably wouldn't talk about the Saudi Pro League as often if Ronaldo wasn't there, his presence has brought about a major change. It makes sense that Ronaldo wants a bigger influence at Al Nassr, including in the transfer market, he is still very ambitious to win many trophies in the future.

Winning the Champions League next season is definitely Luis Enrique's target next season, but things won't be that easy. The competition will definitely be different. PSG also needs to strengthen the squad and, of course, deepen the game strategy. The teams that will compete in the Champions League must have prepared themselves. Because PSG won the trophy last season, of course, they are also favored to get it again. It just might not be easier than before.
The big loss to Chelsea in the FIFA World Club tournament should be a warning to Luis Enrique and his side that there are some new sheriffs on the block. Many clubs have strengthened their squad, so the French champions will not have an easy run in their bid to defend the title.

Maybe they might continue their dominance of the Ligue One because I have not seen any improvement in any club such as buying or quality players or signing of a good coach.
I think Luis Enrique will re evaluate his squad and look for weaknesses after the defeat in the Club World Cup final. That's something he'll definitely do. As for next season competition, I agree that the atmosphere will be very different from last season. PSG will easily retain the Ligue 1 trophy, but defending the Champions League trophy is a very difficult task.
Marseille, AS Monaco, Nice, and Lille seem only able to put temporary pressure on PSG in Ligue 1, nothing has changed, PSG dominance is still very hard to break. Meanwhile, in the Champions League, the dynamic of the competition will be very different. There are many strong teams that will put pressure on PSG. It would be amazing if PSG could defend their title next season, that would again be a historic record.

Now, we are having a new update on Bayern Munich.
After confirming that Luis Diaz is indeed likely to move from Liverpool, Bayern Munich will now submit a new proposal for the winger. And as an alternative, Bayern Munich will go for Malick Fofana from Lyon.

Source: Bayern new proposal for Luis Diaz expected soon
Moving from a top team in EPL to another top team in the German Bundesliga will not be a bad move for Diaz, he has been exceptional in Liverpool where he had ven tougher challenge to hand so I am optimistic of his moves to Bayern Munich he is definitely going  to make impacts in  the German Bundesliga and having a resilient coach as Kompany will give him that moral boost to scale heights in the Bundesliga,  Diaz will be a better option than Fofona , except that does not pull through I still see him as the best choice.
Luis Diaz feels his playing time will be limited next season, after Liverpool recruited several new players. Arne Slot seems likely to rely more on Cody Gakpo on the left wing, and the arrival of Florian Wirtz also adds competition up front.
I think this is the right time to leave, Bayern Munich is a good option, and I assume Liverpool would be willing to let Luiz Diaz go. The transfer is highly likely to happen, and Luis Diaz is clearly better than Malick Fofana.

I hope Amorim don't continue giving excuses next season because we are assuming that Ten Hag messed up with the United team before Amorim took over and now that Amorim has been given the opportunity of signing new players to boost his squad he should do and excellent job and get the team working again. Last season is over and no one is judging him by the performance of the team again but he has to task himself and the new player to do well and work to ensure they get back to top4 that should be his major targets next season.
That's right, Ruben Amorim now has the opportunity to overhaul the squad depth to suit his strategic needs. If Ruben Amorim feels some of Ten Hag legacy players aren't worth retaining, the transfer window is still open, he just needs to encourage them to find new clubs. That way, whatever results Manchester United achieves next season, Ten Hag will have nothing to do with them.
Manchester United will only be focused on domestic competitions next season since they're not in any European competition, so Ruben Amorim job will be a bit easier. The chance to finish in the top four is open for Manchester United, Ruben Amorim career will be on the line if they fail to achieve it.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2025/26 Season
by
imamusma
on 21/07/2025, 15:11:39 UTC

Even if it seems like a coincidence, it could be a meaningful coincidence within the dramatic structure of football. Just like life's sense of humor. Bayern are already the best in the Bundesliga and it shouldn't be difficult for Kane to win a trophy with Bayern. But the biggest chance was for Tottenham, who sent Kane away.

Kane's departure triggered a structural change at Tottenham, leading the club to look for a Kane-less game and a more balanced team. As fate would have it, Tottenham achieved much better results without Kane, and the team shaped itself around his absence after his departure. This has resulted in a more collective, pressure free, team oriented team. This restructuring could bring success again next season.
How can they be considered significantly better if they only finished 17th in the Premier League? They were only helped by the Europa League trophy as otherwise they wouldn't have qualified for next season CL and their journey in the competition last season was relatively easy. From the league stage to the semifinals they played against teams below them and in the final they faced a Man Utd side who were also struggling in the league. So Kane departure doesn't change anything; it's just a fluke that means nothing and I doubt Tottenham will be as lucky in the new season.
Yes, Tottenham may not be as fortunate as last season, for a simple reason, the club fired Ange Postecoglou. Thomas Frank will be faced with a much tougher task, ensuring his squad performs consistently in the Premier League and Champions League. If the adaptation process is slow, or disrupted by injuries, I'm sure Thomas Frank won't be as resilient as Ange Postecoglou in dealing with the pressure. Meanwhile, Tottenham success in the Europa League last season, and their failure in the Premier League, actually had nothing to do with Kane.

Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal have spent heavily in the summer transfer window, they trying their best to strengthen their squad by recruiting new players. Meanwhile, Manchester United and Tottenham, two other elite Premier League clubs who nearly suffered relegation last season, appear to be lagging behind, not acting as aggressively as the four teams mentioned above. The summer transfer deadline is still a long way off, if I'm not mistaken, until September 1st, and Manchester United and Tottenham should take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen their squads so they can compete for next season. Furthermore, Gyokeres name is increasingly being linked with a move to Arsenal, and it's possible that this deal will materialize this week.

Rodrygo is talented and professional, and can be a transfer target of many big clubs. I am not surprising if Barcelona want to have Rodrygo and in history there were transfers between Barcelona and Real Madrid so there is chance for such a transfer of Rodrgyo from Real Madrid to Barcelona this summer.

The main barrier is transfer price that is very expensive and if Barcelona did not buy Nico Williams by having limited budget, I don't think they will be ready to purchase Rodrygo with a big money to spend. It's unrealistic and logic interference makes me thinking more about rumors. Rodrgyo has high possibility of moving out of Real Madrid but his destination will not be Barcelona.

I do not see this possibility. Since it is now almost certain that Rashford is coming to Barcelona on loan, so there is absolutely no chance for Barcelona to buy Rodrygo now. After having talented attackers like Torres, Lewandowski, Yamal, Raphinha and Rashford, does Barcelona need Rodrygo? Lewa, Raphinha and Yamal will be in the starting XI for sure. We still do not know how Hansi Flick will use Rashford. In such a situation, why would Barcelona waste money by buying Rodrygo and keeping him on the bench? Also, Barcelona's financial situation is not good at all. Where will Barcelona get the money to buy Rodrygo at such a huge amount? So I consider this just a rumor.
I also believe the speculation about Rodrygo transfer to Barcelona is just a rumor. Even if Barcelona had enough funds to make the transfer happen, they couldn't do it because they're blocked by spending restrictions. Besides, Barcelona would also have to sell two or three other players first to balance their salary structure. Rodrygo is just not a realistic target for them right now. Currently, Barcelona is probably trying to register Rashford with La Liga first, and Hansi Flick doesn't seem to be looking for any other additions to his attack.

It's just a matter of time. Xabi is working hard on this team. He's obviously setting up the team to make it competitive initially with their eternal rival, Barcelona. Then they have to become competitive again at a European level. After the poor performance against PSG, they understood that they have to give it their all if they want to improve.
That's right, consistency is just a matter of time, Xabi Alonso will slowly but surely be able to create balance so that Real Madrid can return to their best performance. At the domestic level, we hope that the El Clasico rivalry with Barcelona will be balanced again, unlike last season. The same goes for Real Madrid dominance in the Champions League, with the squad overhaul they have done, they should no longer struggle from the beginning of the season. Last season, Real Madrid even had a tough time getting through the League Phase.

Finally we got a good news about Osimhen transfer to Galatasaray. The long awaited deal almost everyone is anticipating for long come to pass. I am happy that the deal is finalized, only for it to be documented, and both parties will be happy that they reach a reasonable agreement.

I will call this, a big win for Galatasaray. I will congratulate them for not give up on Osimhen after the ups and downs Napoli puts them through for the signing process of Osimhen. I trust Osimhen to pay Galatasaray back with good performance as he did for them last season.

Finally, speculation about Osimhen future has been clarified, with Galatasaray successfully securing the Nigerian striker permanent transfer. I believe Osimhen will have a significant impact on Galatasaray, a deal many have long anticipated.
Many had hoped for Osimhen to move to the Premier League. Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea had previously been linked with him, but in the end, Galatasaray secured his signature. Perhaps Osimhen will try his luck in the Premier League in the future, I think it's worth a try.

Between these number 20s Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle have signed, who's going to be at their best next season?
I'm quite confident in Joao Pedro's abilities. He's already proven his quality with Chelsea at the Club World Cup. And I'm sure he'll be a prolific goal scorer in the new Premier League season with Chelsea. Besides his sharp ability to penetrate the opponent's defense, he's also adept at positioning himself in easy assist positions. He's adept at spotting gaps in the opposition's defense. And I think an extraordinary season awaits Joao Pedro. Chelsea are very fortunate to have him. And I think Brighton will regret letting go of a player as good as Joao Pedro. Besides his youth, he also looks very mature on the pitch. And his potential can still be further enhanced.
That's right, Joao Pedro seems capable of living up to expectations next season. Looking at the productivity statistics of those four players last season, Joao Pedro was at the top in terms of goal scoring, and Chelsea is clearly very lucky to have signed him. Enzo Maresca appears to be making him a part of his main squad for next season. I think among those four players, the one who is most not lucky is Madueke, he will likely become a second-string player in Arteta squad.

I find it hard to believe that Chile finished in last place, I don't see them improving their position, they no longer have a chance of qualifying

Chile was left far behind, they blamed Tigre Gareca who is a very famous coach, but Chile has had very good players but as a team they are no longer functioning because their replacement generation is not very good quality, the Chileans have to find a way to improve that part, therefore the rest of the result, they had a great generation when they won the Copa América, but the players they still have and who are on the national team are not at the level.

2015 and 2016 were Chile best years, winning the Copa America and Copa America Centenario trophies. Since then, Chile performance has continued to decline, and most recently, they have failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, having only collected 10 points from 16 matches. The remaining two matches can be considered mere formalities, lacking any real motivation to win. Chile appears to be running out of its golden generation, with Vidal and Alexis Sanchez now too old to be relied upon.

on 20/07/2025, 20:17:25 UTC
Few days back i noticed Bitcoin price was at $123k so close on reaching $150k so we just need to exercise sone patience and study the markets to know what's before us. If you ask me I'll say the force behind the bullish trends is certainly  the change in price and hence before the year comes to an end we would definitely see more  of this and probably Bitcoin might go higher than this.

The market moves at its own pace and of course, it tests the patience of traders. As Bitcoin rose last week and created a new ATH at $123k, and after reaching this top price, many old investors took profits by selling large amounts of Bitcoin, so the market relaxed a bit and is preparing for the next uptrend. We are actually in a situation now where we may see another new trend in Bitcoin in the next few days, and it could be in any direction.
That's right, trends can move in any direction, and Bitcoin could experience a sharp correction after hitting a new all time high. However, current market sentiment remains bullish, and many predict the price hasn't peaked yet. I'm optimistic that Bitcoin will eventually reach $150K, although that won't happen this year. Bitcoin is currently trading at $118K, indicating a slight correction. Perhaps next week we'll see Bitcoin head towards $130K

Re: Content creation

on 20/07/2025, 16:46:59 UTC
Do you notice that so many people are into content creation these days? Everyone is always filming something and posting it in hopes of gaining views, likes and followers. Once they have enough audience, they can start earning from their page and this is what is their biggest motivator. There are people who have day jobs that don't pay enough so they try their luck in content creation.

Now, I am seeing many more kids just get into it right away instead of trying to find other traditional jobs. The older generation do not even consider this a real job. But do you think, as lucrative the industry is, will it survive? Will it continue to be a good source of income? If you are struggling financially, have you ever considered content creation? Does content creation offer anything to the economy?

Due to Artificial Intelligence, changes already are being made. Content creation with AI is already a thing will it be fully AI in the near future? I don't think so we still like that human touch, and the industry only will grow we are being addicts to scrolling I don't think it will stop, we may head to a more virtual world but content will be there, unless a real big tragedy happens. Do you have an idea how a big industry like that can end?
Rather than ending, I believe AI will develop much more rapidly in the future. It will penetrate all fields, and perhaps even displace humans more significantly in the workforce. We can't deny this, whether we agree or not, we must adapt. I might consider becoming a content creator and utilizing AI as a primary tool. I think there's no harm in exploring the available opportunities.
I think AI offers the opportunity to earn income more easily, without any tough competition, and the younger generation certainly appreciates it. Sometimes, becoming a content creator can generate more income, depending on one creativity.

Re: Drinking vs Gambling
by
imamusma
on 20/07/2025, 14:55:30 UTC
i think it has to do with how societies look at alcohol and gambling. if you think about it, the maximum damage that someone who is addicted to gambling can do to their life is much more than someone who is addicted to alcohol. so with alcohol the most you can do is get carried away, but eventually your life goes back to normal. that's why alcohol is much more innocent than gambling. someone who starts gambling can have a very bad impact on their daily life, their finances and everything else. irreversible financial damage is definitely worse than walking around drunk one night. so i think that's why.

If it's just going drunk for one night or two it's better but I can tell you for a fact that alcohol has destroyed the life of some people, maybe not in your place but in my locality, when I was growing up, there was these few men I know there were very rich but alcohol addiction made the poor and useless. One of them lost his job because of being drunk all the time, one lost his business because he could not manage it again.
Gambling and alcohol share one similarity, both can be addictive. If not controlled properly, they can lead people down a path of destruction. There are many examples of this all around us, and we can easily find more in various media. In my opinion, alcohol destructive power is greater in the long run because it intoxicates and impairs a person common sense. Someone who is drunk finds it difficult to control their emotions. While with gambling, even if a person acts excessively, they typically do not lose their sanity, which allows them to realize their mistakes more quickly. However, this does not mean that one is better than the other.

Re: When you're winning you can't sleep
by

on 20/07/2025, 14:24:35 UTC
I can agree to it because I experienced it before.

I have 2 reasons before:
1. It's either I can't sleep because I am excited about how to spend my winnings  Grin
2. Or I can't sleep because my winnings are not enough and I am still willing to play more, bet more, and expect to grow those winnings.

Your points are very relevant to my own gambling experiences, especially when I first started out. I just want to add one point here, sometimes when we win, the thought suddenly arises that this might be our lucky day. So, with that belief, we continue betting, and without realizing it, we've already spent our winnings.
Many gamblers probably experience this, and while it's frustrating to recall, it's sometimes quite enthusiastic to recount to friends.
