Re: Wholesale BTC Trading Market?

I've never heard of Remitano, is it safe, considering it is a new exchange, is it required kyc to create an account there, because Remitano is a big trade there must be extra security, minimum purchase and sale is 1.5 btc, could it possibly have an impact on public exchange.

Yeah I use them from time to time to sell my crypto for my local currency. It's safe, they have 24/7 customer support which is great, and liquidity is quite good. And you need to KYC to start trading, which is part of their policy to prevent scammers from operating there I guess.

Remitano just launched a Wholesale trading market - https://remitano.com/forum/my/post/225-remitano-launches-the-new-investment-channel-for-wholesalers-1.

Apparently you get VERY low fees with this. Only catch is you need min 1.5 BTC worth for each trade. Thoughts?

Wholesale BTC Trading Market?

I came across this recently - https://remitano.com/forum/my/post/225-remitano-launches-the-new-investment-channel-for-wholesalers-1

Remitano, a popular P2P crypto trading platform, just opened a wholesale trading market for big traders. You need at least 1.5 BTC per trade to be eligible to get very low fees.

Haven't seen this on any other P2P platforms so far, including Localbitcoins, Paxful, Luno, etc.

This is gonna be pretty useful for big traders. Thoughts?

130k+ BTC moved in Oct. Evidence of institutional investors coming in?

Bitcoin price has been relatively stagnant for awhile now. Could there be a sudden huge spike in these next couple of months? Especially if SEC gives its seal of approval for Bitcoin ETF this coming 5th November.

It's been really interesting to see large net-worth individuals/groups buying up huge amounts of Bitcoin, roughly more than 130,000+ worth of BTC. That's worth at least US$830 million (as of today's price). Check out it here: https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html

What do you guys think? Is this a sign of big things coming for the Bitcoin market? Could this be the perfect opportunity to buy in this "dip" before it "moons" in the next couple of months (or 1st quarter of 2019)?

I'm located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Southeast Asia is pretty illiquid when it comes to depositing fiat to buy crypto or vice versa. So far only peer-to-peer platforms works. I was previously using Luno (before they got shut down here), and now I'm using Remitano. Pretty easy to use, no issues so far. Anyone else here uses Remitano? Curious to hear about your experience trading there so far!

I created an account with Remitano a long time ago. Completely forgot about it, until recently. I transferred some coins there and did a swap trade to convert to BTC. Super quick and surprisingly it came with no fees. Support wise I think it can (and should) be improved. Most of the time their customer support is online, except for only a few times when they were offline. But I received an email as soon as a customer support team member comes online and replies. So far it's been pretty easy to use and I haven't faced any issues whatsoever with trading on Remitano.

Anyone else uses this platform and care to share their experiences? Pretty curious to know!

My own concern is the listed XRP for payment. Why the choice of the currency? What happens if they listed more coins, probably up to 50, how ugly the exchange will be. I only think they should be conservative on coin listing.

i planned to do business with remitano but sad to say they didn't maDe to answer all this NEGATIVE POSTS.
WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER
You should contact their online helplines through chat. Its a active channel.

XRP is a pretty solid coin, now 3rd or 4th in terms of market cap if I'm not mistaken. Also I heard their layout will be revamped soon. Hope that's true bcos the current layout can definitely do with a LOT of improvements. Other than that at least it's pretty user friendly and easy to use

Ethereum hands down. But if I were to pick other altcoins, it'll be WePower. There's also a recently launched energy utility token, VLUX. Really curious to see how that new coin will do

WePower and Power Ledger did really well. So I'm wondering how would a similar like VLUX do. It also has a smart meter product and allows peer-to-peer energy trading on its platform. Any thoughts, anyone? - http://vlux.io/

I'm big on going green and playing a part in building a more sustainable future. So it's great to see more ICOs with energy utility tokens launching like WePower, Power Ledger, VLUX. Blockchain could very well be the biggest enabler (in the near or distant future) for the average folks like me to be part of a new green tech revolution!

Current favourite is definitely VLUX by UK's Green Running. The company has been around since 2009 and already has a working product sold on Amazon and Tesco Direct. Their scaling up with peer-to-peer energy trading via blockchain. Interesting stuff! http://vlux.io/

Re: When the World Cup ends, will ETH and BTC rise?
by

I guess you can link the flow of fiat during this World Cup going towards bookies as opposed to cryptocurrencies, especially for people who focus more on short term gains and pump-and-dumps. I'm no financial expert, but possibly maybe this has gotta impact crypto prices to a certain extent vis-a-vis supply and demand?

Pretty interesting to see everyone else's ICO choices in this thread. I've my eyes on VLUX, their main sale coming in a few weeks time. It's kinda similar to WePower but covers a wider spectrum. Any thoughts, anyone? - http://vlux.io/
