I've been here since the beginning.
I was the third largest whale in this coin. I cashed out around 700-1100 sats. Still at a loss. Pretty much half the investment gone.
There were many ways to to have built aerome in a good progressive manner. But, Majika lacked the skills of a good programmer/developer and curator for this coin.
He may have scammed us, or I don't really think he scammed us. I just believe he began to see he was not capable of achieving his goals anymore.
I may have lost, but I feel he has lost more. At least I didn't spend all that time developing and wasting my life away. If he ever did code.
I never trusted him though. He was a very selfish person. Even after trying to negotiate with him to progressively make releases, and thereby give continuous rewards with progressive price rises. He wasn't interested.
One thing must be made clear. Alts thrive on its investors confidence. Period. Good news in successive intervals. "faith" is for the blind. I was blinded, so were others here.

I think it's time I said something after a long time. The market is about to go down. This is another example of how bittrex is nothing but a capitalistic fuck concerned about making profits. Scum

I've been silently observing from afar, bittrex manipulates markets guys, they paint a picture that is untrue. They destroy good coins that have real potential. So, instead of wasting my energy on scum like them. I think it's time we as the community show that some projects deserve more patience and support, because it has true potential. Bittrex is a shit fucking exchange, because as far as an exchange goes there is a public reponsibility to list coins that will bring investor benefits. If that's how you feel you shouldn't be invested in this coin.. The dev takes a more professional approach to development imo. His style is like that of a corporation with shares. If you own stock in apple and call them up demanding to know the specific progress on the new iphone they will hang up.. and they will release the new iphone news / product when it's ready. You just have to take what the dev gives us and deal, or invest somewhere else..

It's the dev that decides that.
It's up to Majika to be in contact with the other devs and especially Dan Metcalf (XC).
Majika did say that he wishes to make aerome open source. But, i hope he realises that the reason Dan did the reviews and was playing close attention to other coins was because he needed to build the network necessary to help with Blocknet.
The same thing needs to be done by majika too. Being a part of this might actually bring other devs to aerome (who might see its potential, and build upon it) it also shows collaboration, and interest to be a part of larger things and attract other parts of the crypto community.
Its good to be a lone wolf, but in these environments, wider groups thrive.
So I hope that within the middle or end of next week, we hear some thoughts from majika regarding what he intends to do. I really hope he jumps in though.
A lot of information and collaboration of ideas can be achieved in something like this, which in the end will benefit aero.

I hope the dev works quickly. The price will hold, but not for another month. If he could just release a beta...I think that would really help the morale around here. Even if testing went on for a while.

Im no longer worried about aero, the price didnt fall like i thought it would. Someone is controlling the price..I did pick up 3 thousand aero for 2.8k on cryptsy. What a steal.

An IPO's purpose is to raise capital, so that currency could be further developed. Remember XC is a payment system, much like bitcoin, its on this technology are other applications built. Thus rendering the tool more valuable than the provider.
With IPO's, the objective of investors is to be provided a return in the form of dividends, for making capital investments. Taking such a path would mean that XC Inc would need to generate revenue, using Xcurrency to provide cash to investors. Only if XC's "profits" increase will the share price increase. Growths ultimate objective is to provide more cash flows, so the end is profit. And as companies grow, cash-flows grow, and so profits grow and ultimately returns to shareholders grow, hence stock price grow.
True the price grows on possibilities, but this is far into the future. We don't even know the future of bitcoin yet. So, its a bit tricky.
And besides takeover and sell off's happen when the share price does not reflect its value, usually undervalued so that private equity can buy it, make it better and then sell it off. So not necessarily a benefit to shareholders. Again, far into the future.
