If you know anything about earthcoin you know that it's extremely undervalued as is now. It's not like the rest of the alt-coins out there, it's got serious potential for being used a worldwide charity/green coin and more!

or maybe add sudo if you are not root.
Still getting errors about X, yet it clearly shows its running

I always did this as normal user who is logged into X, not as root...
but maybe try:
and then try aticonfig again. Also if you are already root you don't need sudo
