Hardware wallets and paper wallets are the safest wallets. Trezor and Ledgers are among them. If you do not want to invest in buying an hardware wallet then you can use wallets like

Exodus:

Exodus is a desktop supported cryptocurrency wallet which deserves to be included in the bitcoin wallet list. Exodus supports nearly three dozen cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, Zcash, Ethereum among the popular ones.

Electrum Wallet:

Electrum was mainly known for supporting Bitcoin and is widely considered to be a trusted software wallet in the bitcoin community. Electrum Wallet is a lightweight and easy platform to store your BTC holdings securely, where the bitcoin wallet sign up is convenient and easy.

Jaxx

Jaxx is becoming increasingly popular day by day as it provides a seamless user experience. Jaxx is available on different platforms like Windows, Linux and OS X desktops.

Re: Anyone got any good BTC mining pools that may be free?
by

As the calculation of the shares mined can be a bit complex, there are two methods of paying the miners: Pay Per Share (PPS) which offers a guaranteed payout for each share that is solved by a miner instantly and Pay Per Last N Shares (PPLNS) which is similar to the proportional method but it looks at the last N shares, irrespective of the boundaries of the round.

One thing must be noted that the better the hash rate, the better the mining pool is. Like Chinese pools control 81% of the network hash rate. There are many Bitcoin mining software like Easyminer, which lets you mine bitcoin. (Bitcoin Mining pool software). There are companies like HashFlare, which is into Bitcoin cloud mining.

The top 5 best Bitcoin Mining Pool in 2019:
  • Slush Pool
  • Antpool
  • BTC.com
  • F2Pool
  • Kano CK Pool

Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency
by

I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.
Those incidents have caused harm in the crypto world for sure and some trust issues too. But what can be done to attract more number of new crypto users is by enabling the usage of cryptocurrency in every aspect. Currently, there aren't many places where crypto can be used, and some countries have outright banned its usage. If things like these change for the better, then crypto would definitely have a bright future. All that needs to be done is for people to have a broader mind and accept new things.

The most secured one, the safest of all, if you can afford then buy a hardware wallet. These case you can trade coins from your wallets only, no need to go to an exchange for trading. Select the wallet and trade.

All of us at some point buy and sell AltCoins, also every other exchange on which a liquidity of coins exists, offers different price. I am here going to tell you about an exchange aggregator platform on which you can compare the price of leading exchanges like - Binance, Changelly, KuCoin, Huobi, HitBtc, Swaplabs, Blocktrades, IDEX etc. and trade 400+ AltCoins. They offer the most hassle free experience of trading, you can try out with a small amount for once, and then trade once the trust is built.

On CoinSwitch Exchange -

  • No KYC or Login Needed
  • 400+ Coins
  • Best Rates, fees - 0.25-1 %

Re: What token do you expect in 2019?
by

This post is now 3 month old, but I still have some of the points to mention, which tokens in 2019? I am sure some of the people would have now concluded with some of the players -

BTT - BitTorrent is one amongst them, strong team, and hopefully a good use case also. But I still think huge profits can't be expected from it.
BNB - CZ the great god of crypto, he is going to make sure BNB raises to the moon in 2019.
LTO - LTO Token is having a very strong use case, I am not shilling them here, but I generally do a lot of reading, and the GDPR Compliance that they bring on is a very very strong use case.

You can trade all the above 3 without Login or KYC on http://coinswitch.co/

Re: ICO will be replaced by IEO
by

Crypto market is controlled by the exchanges, and how they evolve will determine the fate of any thing related to cryptocurrencies. ICOs have robbed people off their wealth, they have damaged the repo of a system which is going to change our financial systems in a decade, basically any thing which people do not trust on is very harmful.

Now coming to IEO, so brands like Binance and now Bittrex too are getting associated with them which adds a layer of trust amongst people, which eventually can bring more money flow and more people in cryptos, the trust building would start again, and definitely IEO will be replacing ICOs, let us see how future unfolds.
