The R1 is currently out so makes me wonder if they did not order in batch 1 and assumed they would have another batch soon to order in. One would have guessed they would have had a batch by now.. so they could have gambled there guessing they would buy a batch 2 by now... I'm not sure.
They seem to do a lot of being first to show miners and info. It would also not suprise me if companies did not like working with them. Like how they leaked Avalon 6 I can't imagine Avalon was happy.
But again all speculation I'm not sure on any of it.
Just let you know , We did send all the R1 orders purchased from iTOP ,and we still have stock to ship .

I saw ITOP has these for 29$ free shipping, they are legit and accept paypal so looks like you can get them sent to America for a decent price. (HK shipping is slow though) I am guessing bulk buyers are getting a nice discount.

Because they were offering one, they removed it after I had posted it. Shipping can be extremely cheap if they use a slow method, no idea why it hasn't happened yet.

On the back of the router it is two pin chinese plug , It will comes with plug adapter to US or EU type .
So just to confirm, are you saying that the price includes the correct adapter for the region it is shipping to?

ITOP are you able to confirm what kinda plug is on the back of the router? Is it Chinese plug as many suspect, or did we get extremely lucky and us?
On the back of the router it is two pin chinese plug , It will comes with plug adapter to US or EU type .
Without the case and fan (I'm assuming), you will need to come down on the price to get a bite.
It do come with the fan , only does not include the case which we sold previous 51asic version.
So we hope the USD50 coupon code can make up this a little bit.
The case was a pretty big upgrade though. At one time I had a batch one 28M without case. But it seemed ok at first twords end I was babying it with a AC close to it, and a batch file to restart it from crashes.
How stable is this batch without a case?

Even with all of those perfect mining conditions (which lets be honest will never happen for anybody) it would take a year to make your money back in LTC.

but there are many other scrypt alt coins we can mine with it , if we choose the right coins and sell at right time ,it will no need that long time for ROI.
and for now silverfish is one of the good choice for cost effective scrypt miner .
If you're going to gamble, why not rent hash for less than 219$? Because for that price you can get a lot more hash than what you would get from in a year this AND you can get the hashrate at higher, short rate, for bursts, as you need a lot of hash in a short span of time, at a coin launch' to get more coins before the diff increase.
Having a little bit of hash over one year isint very effective for the ROI method you're proposing to make out of these miners. And regardless, its a gamble.
there are still diffierences, at least you own the hardware , you can mine anytime anycoin(scrypt) you want, could be more fun .
