Still can't get core clock offsett and memory clock offset to work. I tried with --gpu-coffset, --gpu-coffset0,  --gpu-moffset and --gpu-moffset0 , but the clocks always fail

Chinese BTC-X79-H61 motherboard - only 2 cores

Hello,
I have one of these boards, that were used back in the days of the 3060 non-LHR cards.
https://i.postimg.cc/MGTQ0h74/1.jpg
The problem with these boards is that they only detect 2 cores of whatever CPU is installed on them. I guess it's to prevent overheating and because there was actually no need for more back then.
Now, I want to mine Dynex, but there doesn't seem to be enough CPU power for all the 5 GPU's to reach their maximum speeds. I'm not mining with the CPU. It's just that the algorith is made in such a way that it also uses the CPU.
Has anyone found a way to unlock the rest of the cores, through some bios modding or some hidden option inside the 300 other usless options inside the bios?

Is there a resource for R mode?  I'd like to see if I can squeeze out any more hashrate or reduce my wattage.   I have Radeon VIIs, 6800s, 6700xt 6600xt.

Of course there is. There is literally an ethash_tuning_guide_rmode file inside the teamredminer folder.

Is there an option to lower mining intensity of a gpu if it reaches a certain temperature?
I remember that claymore had the -ttli option and if you set it to -ttli 75 if that card reaches 75 degrees it starts mining slower.

Nice. That's good news.
I've seen H110-D3A running 12 gpus with two of these splitters.
TB250-BTC PRO is giving me hope that I can run 12 gpus, since it's practically the same board as mine but with additional slots attached to it.

Well, here it costs 120€ new and 80 for a second hand one and even they are nowhere to be found, so I will stick with this one for now.

Has anyone tried using this board with a PCI-E Splitter, the one that splits from 1 to 4?
I know that it can do 7, using an M.2 adapter, but what about 8 or more GPUs?
Searching around the net, I find results only about the PRO version which comes with 12 slots.

For anyone who cares the newest nvidia driver 456.38 increased my hashrate 2-3mhs after this driver update... might help others with 1070's.. but i have noticed on all my rigs their newest driver increased hashrate a couple mhs.

Doesn't increase anything...

Is there a way to apply custom timing like in Claymore, with - straps?
I'm looking to switch from Claymore and this strap thing is the only thing that's holding me.

unpack program again

That solved it. I guess the archive was corrupted. I downloaded it again and it worked.

So I managed to actually run Clymore.
Now, the next problem is that some of the cards won't accept any straps. I have a rig with 12 RX580 cards. 8 of the cards work with - strap 1 applied to them with 30+mh, but the other 4 won't accept any strap from 1 to 4 and work with 24mh. I tried even with - POL4H1 to 4, but it's the same. As soon as Claymore starts applying straps to theese cards the rig restarts.

I can't run Claymore miner. I downloaded a fresh copy of Claymore v15.0, I copied my batch file, but when I run it it just closes. I tried running EthDcr....exe directly and it's the same. Running as an administrator also doesn't help. It's not Windows Defender. It's disabled from a group policy. I tried enabling it and adding Claymore to the exceptions, but it's the same. When I try to run EthDcr...exe from command prompt it just goes to a new line

Mine what? There is 0 profit. A better solution would be to hang the cards on the wall for decoration.

It's just a matter of time for this to get fixed.
Also, you can't put 13 RX cards on one rig. The 13th card must be an Nvidia.

I've left the rig for more than 12 hours. I don't know how you disabled your updates but I can assure you that mine aren't running. The OS is running for more than a year and the build version is 1 year old, that's when I disabled them. I said that I tried with another drive, with another Win10 installation and it's the same.
A reboot doesn't fix the issue for a day or two. This happens 30 to 60 minutes after reboot.
The CPU is more than capable to run Win10. My main PC uses an I7-2600k which is 4 years older and it's running Win10 fine. Lots of new notebooks made in the last 1-2 years, which come with the "Win10 Compatible" logo have slower CPU's than this Celeron. The CPU is not the problem.

I have 6 1070's on a rig with h81 pro btc and g1820. After 15-30min the cpu goes to 100% and the rig becomes unresponsive. Some of the cards start mining with 4-5mh and I start to get rejected shares. I'm using MSI AB to overclock my cards. Task manager reports System, System interrupts, EthDcrMiner64.exe or MSI AB maxing out the cpu.

A few people have been having similar issues - myself included. Haven't managed to find a solution yet. It might be hardware related, like insufficient ram for that many GPU's to maintain being run at max capacity from straps? Only speculating.

In short though, I'm in the same position as you and if I find a solution I'll post here or PM you.

Tried it on a different Win10 installation and it's the same.
Now I removed AB and I'm using the built-in -mclock and -powlim commands. I think there is an improvement, as it takes more time before this thing happens.
It's not the virtual memory, because hwinfo reports no more than 50-60% use. It's not the Defender, because it's disabled.
I tried HiveOS, but I saw that it doesn't support -strap and I removed it without testing. I can't get even close hash speeds so there is no point of trying in the first place.
This happens only on my Nvidia rig where I'm using claymore.
I'm using Win10 1709 build 16299.371 with Nvidia 430.86 drivers.

What if hiveos hangs without sending a reboot command? Most of the time my rigs just go offline, without any logs or rebooting sent.
