Re: Is the bull market coming?

The introduction of futures and institutional products doesn't mean it will yield a bull market. Not all of these products are meant to be used for a long perspective, a lot of futures are used to short it. Take for example how we saw the futures this past December introduced and absolutely crushed it when the 6 month expirations gave up (Over 50% returns on just a futures contract).

I think so as well, but with time for sure. The run up to what we've been seeing recently seemed almost inorganic, so hopefully, a slower and progressed increase to that price point is attainable within the near future. For that to happen though, we're going to have to see a lot of companies, enterprises, and organizations pick up the framework soon.

Re: Effect of Crypto in FIFA world cup .
by

FIFA World Cup 2018 is knocking at the door. And it is heard that during this time so many transactions will be made by cryptos. What would be the market condition on that time? What do you think??

I don't think the entire market would be generally affected by the event, but it'd be a very applicable time to have some sort of ad or sponsor placement from a larger capped crypto that has some sort of dedicated time behind it. I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up being the case. Would actually be extremely interesting for the sphere, and could be an opportunity. As a whole though, I don't think the combination of countries and teams to come together will have a very intruding effect on the markets entirety.

Being put into perspective of multiple months back, it's finally starting to look like realistic market growth, so something like that shouldn't be too alarming. Some alts that saw extreme growth spurts are now undergoing more due corrections back to their rightful valuations. It depends on the amount it grew relative to the overall market, and how it's placing now. Just depends really.

Re: convert to USDT/TETHER?
by
johniadeluca
on 10/06/2018, 18:56:21 UTC
I have some positions in VEN, XRP, NEO, DGD etc. Is it a good/dumb idea to convert them into USDT/TETHER during this time? That means I am going to take loss or I hedge risk of further falling? Thanks. Need some suggestions.

If you convert it, you're hedging in a sense as USD is less volatile. However, the tradeoff is essentially what you do with that Tether. Tether has hefty withdrawal fees depending on the exchange you're on, so try to take note of that. Otherwise, it could be an effective hedging method. Possibly try to convert half of your holdings if you're unsure, then decrease holdings accordingly.

Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin?

There are multiple factors, but it's definitely led by the inefficient and artificial growth that occurred due to many people just FOMO'ing in this past year. Also the impending regulation seems to be contributing to its decline. There are many different reasons that are affecting it. Definitely worth analyzing it under many different lenses though, as there is no singular answer for its decline.

Depends on the length for which you're willing to hold. If your target holding period doesn't mind waiting for an extended amount of time, then you can definitely set the prices that your friend told you about, however, there is of course never a guarantee that any of those prices are hit. So the orders could be sitting there forever while the tokens may in the meanwhile be deemed useless.

Traditionally depends, though!

Good luck.

Re: What do you think of Eth?

As it serves as a huge staple for the overall crypto marketplace, it depends on an overall view of where cryptos are going. If you believe straight into the ground, as Ethereum holds a large percentage of the market, it wouldn't be the ideal hold. However, if cryptos were to surge, it'll be one of the (in comparison to the other cryptos) majority of least-volatile increases. Of course, this all depends on multiple factors.

Re: Is etherium good for long term

The majority of all platforms and token-based technologies in today's crypto economy are based on the Ethereum platform. Even ones that are claiming their own mainnet or own blockchain traditionally stem from Ethereum. You have to assess whether you think Ethereum will continue to grow in serving as the basis for these sorts of purposes. Otherwise, it would be fairly slow and stagnant growth.

Ethereum long term, in many popular opinions, is good. However, it just varies on the actual longevity of that term.

It depends on its adaptation. At the moment it seems all financial regulators are against it; however, it doesn't solve the fact that theoretically, it is more efficient than a lot of modern day processes.

How to start a crypto related website. I wrote before on medium about phones. I want to build my website. How to start? How much investment it need?

Depends really, what sort of project. You can definitely opt for some free options to begin with. Wix is good for that, there are many options.
