Re: [ANN][ICO] LakeBanker | Free Banking for the World (Phase 1 ACTIVE NOW)

This won't affect us.

LakeBanker is an international organization. We are not incorporated in China. LakeBTC's website is not available in (simplified) mandarin. The overwhelming majority of our customers are from outside China.

How do I get a Lakebanker to process my cashout on the existing platform? I've tried GBP & USD but nothing ever happens.

Is there a magic trick to what amounts or what's the issue?

Btw what will happen if Valve shut down the item market based on the lawsuit you refer to in the white paper?

All is lost?
I'm very appreciate that you registred on Bitcointalk to write in this thread, but I think you don't get the idea Smiley. This market will live anyway as we going to change skins turnover to SkinCoin. If you are in business, you have to understand that no one site will close with such loyal and huge audience, they will found new way - and this way SkinCoin.
If you asking about technical details, you can check our current projects in this area. We have great back-end and UI/UX design for all of them, cause we know how to develop it and be friendly for ended-users.

p.s. Honestly, it seems to me that you are one of those who understand the real potential of this idea, but regrets that this market will not be changed by him (due to lack of resources, skills, team, development).

Yes, I understand this market and this is why I would not want to hold millions worth of skins on behalf of someone else. If Valve risks losing lawsuit against Washington State, they might be forced to agree to close the APIs. What then? I think that won't happen, but it could.

My questions are really about the skincoin itself--  How will the skincoin work? Will it live on the ethereum network? Who will cover tx fees? Will you charge tx fees? How will your bots work? How can skincoin owners know the underlying asset - skins - are actually there?

I got you. Steam API don't needed for Skincoin transactions. Skincoin live on the ethereum network. Tx fees will pay to ethereum miners, who confirm all transactions in ethereum network.

No you don't.

I was about to leave this topic alone, but when you don't understand that the Steam API closing = all assets gone = potentially worthless coins, there's no way you have done a proper risk analysis or considered what will happen should Valve be forced to close the item market.

*I* could see the coin continuing to live a life of its own with people buying SkinCoin using other crypto and having that become a de-facto CS:GO casino currency, but your lack of understanding is shocking when you want to raise millions.

too much people cant believe for this project :/
dev you need make it clear before ico is full open to public. maybe another escrow without smart contract ETH its good move i think.
Hi, you have to check our main social community Slack (slack.skincoin.org) to be sure that a lot of people interested in this ICO, not only people from "crypto industry". We start getting offers from eSports gaming industry to participate on it and add SkinCoin as payment method on it. You just have to open your eyes more wide for this vision.
Smart-contract is the most conviniant method basically means that you have full control over your tokens. You will get SKIN token instantly after sending ETH. Once the set of smart contracts is deployed on the Ethereum blockchain, nobody can modify the code. That is, it lives and autonomously runs on the blockchain.

What you're talking about could be solved by creating a coin on waves. Of course users would have full control over the token itself - that's not the question! The question is, how will the skincoin generate revenue? How is it transacted? Is it built on the ethereum network? Is it a blockchain? Will skin transactions be visible and auditable by the public? Do you even know how cryptos work?

You have provided ZERO technical detail, all I see is "esports is big, lets make money!!" without even addressing how you will outcompete Opskins, Lootmarket and others who not only offer a token in return but USD to Paypal (much easier for user than learn cryptos, get your token, convert to BTC/ETH, learn how to sell it... etc)..

One of MANY examples of how to exchange skins:

Why give skins for shitcoin and trust developer to not take value out of system? No one could find out if they stole items. No tx fees or other way to make money means dev and operation budget will run out.

Ive been a backbone to the csgo community since 2014 and an active crypto investor for 2 years and this coin is a SCAM. It will never have utility within the community. We use bitcoin due to its liquidity and there is no need for this coin. The current 'skincoin' is called steam wallet... If you want a coin to overtake the current system you would have to get all gambling sites to agree that it would be accepted... the sites you listed are some of the more unpopular sites. AND if gambling sites were even to consider using this coin it wouldn't work because the whole point of skins is to circumvent the use of a currency... Your no longer skin gambling, your crypto gambling. Investor beware

Plugging steam to show legitimacy

https://steamcommunity.com/id/samalexcs/

As you say you are know about the skin market.
We are who invent web site case opening, we did it before it become mainstream.
Here is the proof from early 2015
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq0rs-cJlI4
1.5 m views on case opening ad.

There is the problem, how you going to send inside points from one site to another?
You will need to exchange points on skins, send skins to another web site trough steam and exchange it on points again.
We are making universal currency which you can easily exchange on skins,  directly send to another gaming web site, or exchange on bitcoins.

Also we have a lot of development for example on steamtrade.net you can buy 100 skins and we will send you them in 1 trade.
We will do the same on skincoin exchange.

This solves NOTHING. Skins are similar to crypto and can already be exchanged. Sold for USD, BTC, used to deposit to casino..

There is ZERO information about how your coin will work or how it will solve the problem. Not even how the coin will make money and pay for development and operations costs when the initial budget is spent.

Why should we TRUST you to keep skins safe? You offer NO information on how anything, especially the coin, will work!!

Looks like SCAM to get traffic to your own gambling sites!

What happens when Valve bans your bots and items are lost? What prevents someone from running away with all the items/skins and thus all the value?

Why not solve the problem by creating a framework for transacting BTC/ETH instead of creating a coin?

So this is a way to get marketing money for skinwin.com and the other sites you guys been working on, without giving up ownership in the real business?

How can we trust you to create a real business when you offer illegal and unlicensed gambling products and run it like an ecommerce biz not a bank?
