I have not faced this problem. I would do the following. Search for all NEM-related files on your machine and delete them. Afterwards, install NEM again from scratch. Then it should usually work. Which WinOS do you use?

You have to delete the file named 'accounts_cache_mainnet.json' and start NEM again.
I had this problem a serveral time, don't know why

it was working for a year with no problems, and one day it crashed
cant log in into my xem wallet, the message says localhost 8989, and ncc is not runing, anyone can help?

Wow 6btc in buy orders. Im starting to think 1 satoshi really is a possibility I used to think it was fud but now it has a real chance.
Now have 4.5 btc in buy, and 44btc in sale, that dosent look good,,,Its almost game over for xem.
Sure is game over for you. It is ok. You can now invest in Eth. It has gone down much lower than NEM has gone down in the last 6 months, percentage wise. Time to pick up as much Eth as you can throw XEM. I am sure you will get more eth for the same amount you threw in for XEM. Maybe 3 times more from their peaks.
Be my guest and move on. No use fudding here. It does not serve you any purpose if you don't believe in it. In fact why even bother, unless you want to fud it down to 1 sat and buy up. Might as well wait till it is 0.5 sat.
im pretty sure the exchanges only go to 1 satoshi though. But yeah could always wait until we hit ltc market but everyone knows thats where cryptos go to die.
I am pretty sure for XEM, if it goes to 1 sat, it will have the means to go to 0.5 Sat. Exchanges will allow it.
I am positive exchanges do not and will not allow less then 1 satoshi. It would be moved to the ltc market.
I am also pretty sure that you don't understand what I am saying. If it is not going to be 0.5 sat, it is also not going to be 1 sat. That was my point.

So much work being done and good advancements being made and we have trolls like you that are butthurt because you did not buy any. Well i suggest you buy now, because prices wont be this good for long.

i had to dump few times to keep my margin in polo:), but i bought in in late 30, so almost 100% profit, i hope it will go to 30 to buy in again

very good time to buy, people look like they are starting to panic buy and probably a few are wanting to get node rewards when it launches too.

Starting the faucet was the right decision in my opinion. Btw, what is the total budget of the faucet?

but that faucet has no ads, so is not self suporting, and u can use it twice a day, that dosent make a lot of network traffic

Traffic seems good actually, transactions are increasing. Twice a day let more space for new users to claim or it will be dried too fast.

From launch I harvested 977 blocks getting 13208 XEM
It depends on what kind & amount of transactions are included in each block.
I've had multiple 1000+ XEM blocks harvested since I started ...

im getting error 500, my delegated harvesting is on, have over 200k of xem in my walet and 5 transaction within last 24hr, but i dont get any thing from harvesting. is thst not enough coins? or transactions? walet says " Importance of account to the NEM cloud 0.83% "
Error 500 is the timeout if I'm not mistaking...
Do you have this all the time or just ocasionally?
Regarding harversting: You need at least 10000 XEM vested to start harvesting and you can expect it to take a while until you have a higher vested amount depending on how long your balance is in the account. (details can be found in the whitepaper, see the links in the OP)
Your vested balance can be found in NCC below your normal balance.
For example : I have a vested balance of 2,8M XEM and a POI of 3.44 ‱ and harvested 4 blocks today, so maybe you may see days where you harvest a block or two, but maybe some days you won't harvest any...
