Pre-mined coin guys, I think atleast the devs should have mentioned it in the starting Post!

Today in discord I mentioned that there are 4 addresses in top 100 with exactly 1M coins, the dev in the discord said, there was no premine, but the coin was out in the wild

I quote :
Quote
Buck_Coin - yesterday @ 9:20pm
@psYch0 not premine because it was in the wild already and they were mined blocks. But those were mostly dev blocks.

And 4h later, all of a sudden the 4 times 1M addresses were gone, and split up into different accounts, U can see transactions in these accounts :

http://explorer.buck.red/address/t1Qp17NCi8ZNmXDVnVVYvFr9GKnGS8XAJ6K
http://explorer.buck.red/address/t1MVsgzAdA1AubACiw5KhyscDTsB7fvxryE
http://explorer.buck.red/address/t1LSMgpAFPpumtDu1GEkrUJCdiHrnGPSMk4
http://explorer.buck.red/address/t1fziSkV5rkDR5yoPhvLn2dTX4g81d8wtE9

The addresses got pulled empty, and moved around several addresses, and this without an exchange in existence. So this could only be something between devs, as it was mentioned in the discord, and it made people question the coin.

I dont think 4M coins of premine is alot. But thats only the coins I am aware off....

Please keep this in mind!

Any update? Its pretty quiet here, especially for a launch of a new coin!
I just destroyed the nethash and got a good amount of coins. Waiting for the devs now, untill I continue mining this coin.

Re: [SMOS] Simplemining.net OC settings for Gigabyte P106-100

When I use the exact same settings, I get only 19.8 Mh/s
How do you know that the settings are the same if you couldn't even tell the actual clocks? At least powerlimit option works differently in windows and linux, and that alone could mess with your "+xxx" offset kind of overclock. P state for mining could also be different (P0 in Windows and P2 in Linux, for example). Judging from your last screenshot it seems that your cards are working at ~ 1800 MHz core and 4500 MHz memory. What were you clocks in Windows that let you achieve 22-23 MH/s? What are these cards anyway, the most important part for ETH mining with 1060s is the memory brand — which is it with your cards? If you were mining at 22-23 MH/s in Windows then it's very unlikely that you've got Hynix, it's either Samsung or Micron.

I used the exact same settings that this other guy posted from simplemining....with the same setup.
Im not at my rig at this time, so I cant check settings for windows atm.... but its weird that the exact same cards, with settings from another user of simplemining OS, gets the right MH/s like I get them on windows...but I cant reproduce it with the same settings as he does...

Please can u share your OC settings?
You first. Smiley What clocks are they running at on Windows and SMOS? Are the clocks the same or different? If they're different, then why are they different?

Hi

On windows I have these settings :
core +50
mem +550
power 70%

Resulted into 22,5 mh/s

On SMOS I tried all of these settings :
#1
core +100
mem +800
power 109

#2
core -50
mem 1050
power 75

#3
core 0
mem 0
power 140

#4
core -50
mem 800
power 85

#5
core +50
mem +550
power 85

and SOOOOO much more, I couldnt get higher than 19,3MH/s

Does this OS only work with these motherboards?

partially supported motherboard links:
ASUS B250 MINING EXPERT (13x gpu) Link

fully supported motherboard links:
ASRock H110 PRO BTC+ (13x gpu) Link
BIOSTAR TB250-BTC PRO (12x gpu) Link
ASRock H81 PRO BTC (6x gpu) Link
BIOSTAR TB85 (6x gpu) Link
MSI Z270-A PRO (6x gpu: 7x if you use 1x m2 adapter) Link
GIGABYTE GA-B250M-Gaming 3 (4x gpu) Link
BIOSTAR TB250-BTC (6x gpu) Link
ASUS Z270-F GAMING (7x gpu: 9x if you use 2x m2 adapters)  Link
MSI Z170A GAMING M5 (7x gpu) Link
ASUS PRIME Z270-A (7x gpu: 9x if you use 2x m2 adapters) Link
GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 (6x gpu) Link
ASUS PRIME H270-PLUS (6x gpu: 8x if you use 2x m2 adapters) Link

Or will it also work for my mainboard (Gigabyte h110-d3a) ??

I believe those are just ones that folks have confirmed that it works on. I am reasonably certain that nvOC will work as long as the underlying Ubuntu installation works on your hardware. For example, I have 2 rigs that run an X99 based board that is not even on that list at all. Give it a go and if you have issues, post them here and we will try to resolve them with you.

Thank u for your reply, the reason I want to try it, is because now im using simplemining OS, and im experiencing issues with Ethereum mining, every equihash is fine. On windows I get 22-23mh/s with my Gigabyte P106-100 cards, but for some reason on Simplemining OS I cant get higher than 19.3Mh/S whatever setting I use, so thats why im looking for alternative OS's

[SMOS] Simplemining.net OC settings for Gigabyte P106-100
by

on 25/11/2017, 19:05:09 UTC
Hi all,

I have been trying for days, to get my cards to work properly for Ethereum in simplemining.net
In windows I get 22-23Mh per card. But in SMOS I can only get 19.8mh as maximum...

I literally tried every setting on the net, does anyone have the Gigabyte P106-100 card, working properly in Simplemining OS, and around 22-23mh?

Please can u share your OC settings?

Thank u!

your windows wallet is so strange.
Dont you have QT ?

Its easy

1. download the official commandline wallet (https://github.com/Tomas-M/VoteCoin/releases/download/v1.0.11-win32/VoteCoin.standalone.Win32.zip)
2. Extract files in to folder u desire
3. Run votecoind.exe (and keep it running in the background)
4. Open a new commandline, and go to the votecoin folder (cd C:\Users\....) like this for example (https://puu.sh/xSuwh/24ef1b1372.png)
5. Type vot addr & press enter (this will generate a new VOT addr for u) example : https://puu.sh/xSuyg/7874a94c2d.png
6. Now download Makalon's GUI client (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzoG9JwbaxccSW5KZzk5V0tCeTA/view?usp=sharing)
7. Extract it in the same folder u extracted the official wallet in
8. Open VoteCoinWallet.exe
9. Boom!

Good luck & Happy mining

LuckPool.org has recently added VoteCoin to its list of equihash coins.
LuckPool features a "Miner's Jackpot" where the block finder gets a fixed amount of the block + their share percent.
The Miner's Jackpot is ~8% of the block reward or 10 VOTE coins.

Enjoy and Happy Hashing
http://luckpool.org/

PSA luckpool sucks and is easily manipulated. Unless your ping is very low, like under 10ms, stay away.

So a high ping makes u able to manipulate pools? Ahahah, can u please go back to minecraft please, u search for the wrong type of mining...
Been mining with Luckpool for 3 months now, only had 1 issue with 1 rig that kept disconnecting, and I was helped out by hellcatz and he fixed my issue...

Hi everyone, does anyone have an idea when simplemining will be adding nvidia overclocking support?

I would really like to overclock my GTX 1070 cards, but I have no idea how to do it now the simplemining os has been installed, or is there another way to do it without using the webinterface from simplemining?

Thnx!
