It's not a problem with the processor, our (fiat) money is stuck between bank and exchange. When fiat money will arrive to the exchange, we will deposit it to our payment processor and then send out all pending payouts.
When you request a payout it is all being stored in our database, so when we will receive our bitcoins we will then send them to users. Thats why we didn't block the website. Our database is platform independent and we can change our payment processors on the fly as well (we used microwallet before but switched to a new service when it had its issues).

We expect this issue to be solved within next week. I think on thursday night (08.01.15) we will try to send pending payouts.

What do you mean when you say it is not working? As stated in the "ref system explained" article, your referral coins are sent to you when you do your own payout. Also, I don't mark them as referral coins on FaucetBOX (yet), but I list them when you do the payout separately.

@sevenz: Now, this is very insulting, and you make me feel intimidated.
First of all, I never seen the author of Microwallet claim that they are even under a DDoS attack. Even if they were, how can you pinpoint that faucetbox is actually behind it?
Second thing - knowing somebody on "the other side" and working with/for them are two different stories.
Third thing - problem with not disclosing who I am? Hell, what is your real name anyway? You didn't disclose it either! Nobody uses their real names around here, I guess?

Speaking of manipulation - changing colour of text, underlining some words, sentences in bold - well, thats what you did. You're being manipulative here, not me....

Stop acting like a hero guardian of microwallet or something, and like you're all clean and all that, when you don't even use your real name to register your domains. Oh, unless your another monicker is eva.ang82. Yeah, I can do some whois too.

Unless you have any proof that faucetbox is behind the alleged DDoS (and so far, you claim that indeed you don't have), stop spreading the FUD about faucetbox around here. AFAIK they don't have anything to do with this. And I've not seen them post around here, anyway. It's just you accusing me of working with/for them and accusing them of ddosing microwallet. To me, it looks like you either have a problem with me or even the society, you just have some sort of a vision in your mind, you jump straight to some fishy conclusions without a proof of anything.

These are not first troubles of Microwallet and other services like this. They all come and go. I'd be glad if microwallet was fully operational again, because I have some bitcoins over there that I'd like to safely withdraw.

Hey, I gues I am the first person that mentioned faucetbox here. Why? Because MicroWallet wasn't working and I found them. My faucet was not on their list, because it wasn't approved then, they had only one faucet approved. Now it is, along with some other faucets. Are they behind DDoS? I have no idea, but that would be lame, considering that if people would want to move over to them, they would like to withdraw all of their Microwallet funds and move them to their service, instead of investing new funds into it. I am in this position and I am very impatient about what's going on around Microwallet, but at least I found a solution for my faucet users....

Fishy

karololszak ,

Marcin Luszkiewicz purchased faucetbox domain name, by hand, this year...and still owns it.
He is the 2012 winner of HackNow winner from Poland.
So Marcin is active online in different sites, etc, I noticed you were friends with him on IMDb. http://www.filmweb.pl/user/luszko/friends
He goes by Luszko aka Marcin Luszkiewicz - and you go by Karololszak aka karlos planet. http://www.filmweb.pl/user/karololszak/friends#
I can see both of you on each others friends list.

You own the freecoins4.me You registered your domain with the name Jaroslaw Olszacki, but your name is really Karol Olszak. You are also from around Poland. You are good at PHP and programing I see.
weirdness. such werid. much confused. very coincidence.

again just pointing out the really obvious....theres more, i dont wanna make a job out if it. So let's stop being shady on the MW thread because I think people are actually buying your posts here somewhat.... Huh

Just to clear this stuff up - whats with the claim of the fishiness of things? Cheesy What stops me from finding out about faucetbox from Marcin, and how is that even fishy? I asked people around about any services like microwallet that they know about and he told me to check out faucetbox. And so I did, and spread the news here for other people like me. I didn't know he was behind it, I didn't even care and I didn't bother asking him then. You made me feel like I've done a bad thing for finding a solution to our common problem and spreading it here...

For the guys complaining about the 5% faucetbox fee - do your own maths! If you'd have to process payouts by yourself, then either you wouldn't be able to pay out as often (to keep lower tx fees) or tx fees would be greater than those 5% you deposited...

[ANN] FreeCoins4.me - BTC faucet, 100-1000 satoshi /6h
by
karololszak
on 03/11/2014, 19:34:07 UTC
Hey, I'm running a faucet over at http://FreeCoins4.me since february.

- you can pay out once every 6 hours
- you can get between 100 and 1000 satoshi (equal chances, so if you're lucky you might get like 999 satoshi and if you're not, only 102; really, anything between 100 and 1000)
- all of the referral system is still up there, but now we only accept BTC addresses, so if you had your referrals built up on your microwallet username, contact us and we will try to move them to your BTC address - otherwise, if you were already using your btc address in your refs, all the "score" is still there!

Our referral system works like this:
- the person that has been referred gets +5% to each of their win
- from your first ref, you get +5%, from the second you get +4%, third - +3%, fourth - +2%, fifth and latter - +1%. So if you get 20 refs you get: 5+4+3+2+1 + 15*1 => +30%. That is the amount your win is increased by.
- if you've been referred and got the +5% from that, you will get +4% from your first ref, +3% from second, +2% from third, +1% from fourth and latter.

So, if you happen to have two people referred (so you have 5+4=9% ref), next time you visit our faucet and win 1000 satoshi you will be awarded with additional 90 satoshi. With 20 refs (+30%) and winning 1000 satoshi you get additional 300 satoshi. The more refs you have, the more you gain! Smiley

I guess it is explained better on our website Wink

We allow everybody to add our faucet to any kind of lists, rotators and so on - but please let us know about that and send us a link back (preferably via email)!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, you can PM me or send us an email (which is on our website under Contact Us link).

I guess their migration changes the payment processor only on backend, but not the frontend. Just try to send some satoshi and see if it goes through microwallet or faucetbox. If not sure just reach out to the support...

I just found this site, faucetbox.com, seems legit, nice design and all, has a faucet list like "land of bitcoin" and even a microwallet migration guide. I'm going to move my faucet over there, we'll see how it goes...
fishy. it says it's takes 5% from faucet owners' deposits to cover the transaction fees to users, but then takes the transaction fees from the faucet users when they withdraw. so they're taking a cut from both sides and not being clear about it. and that's a hell of a lot more of a cut than microwallet takes.
"but then takes the transaction fees from the faucet users when they withdraw" - what? I haven't seen that happening.
As I understand it, if you'd have 100k satoshi on your account and you'd withdraw, you will receive 100k satoshi and they will cover networking fees (using the 5% they took from faucet owners, not you).

Hey, can you add our faucet http://freecoins4.me please?
Operating since april, now we made some improvements. Hopefully we will be able to advance with our faucet even further.

1. We use MicroWallet for payouts, so they are instant from our side (they are stacked on microwallet but many other faucets use this as well, so you can get your payouts faster). We reached out to Bit Chest and Coinbox as well, and maybe we will be able to offer a choice for our users in the future.
2. Currently: 1-100 satoshi per payout. We hope we will be able to increase the numbers in the future.
3. You can use our faucet once every 6 hours (soon to be lowered).
4. We have a great referral program, explained on the website. Tl;dr: 10% of each refs earnings + a multiplier for your payouts (created from number of refs). More on the website.

Hey, me and my friends created a new faucet:

FreeCoins4.me

Right now we are giving away BTC but we are planning to add new altcoins (Litecoin and Dogecoin are the first two in the queue).
We are also investing in a referral system and a prize multiplier (hint: the sooner you start using our site and the more often you use it, the better it will get for you Wink ).

We think of translating our website to as many languages as possible, we're creating infrastructure for i18n and we're looking for people willing to co-operate / partner (translate for us). There will be some awards Smiley Contact me on PM if you're intrested, anyone can participate; native speakers are the most welcome.

We set ourselves a mission to spread the word about Bitcoin and other alternative currencies via our website. That's why we have such comprehensive FAQ (and we're still planning on expanding it) and that's why we want it to be available in all languages. Our website aims to be a guide and a helper for Bitcoin begginers. That's where they can learn all about it and get their first coins.

Well, we've been waiting for our first payout for quite a long time, but since only one address reached more than 2k satoshi we decided to increase the number of people that will receive their payment so they can confirm we did pay out (and that they are some real people, hopefully from this forum Smiley ). Here is the TX with 7 (lucky Smiley and our most frequent) users:  https://blockchain.info/en/tx/e86b31db8db55292ec901cb7b44352d44f673fd1787f1716c93ec552437b151b

Since our last post we have added a referral system (which we didn't explain yet on our page):
- the person that has been referred gets +5% to each of their win
- from your first ref, you get +5%, from the second you get +4%, third - +3%, fourth - +2%, fifth and latter - +1%. So if you get 20 refs you get: 5+4+3+2+1 + 15*1 => +30%. That is the amount your win is increased by.
- if you've been referred and got the +5% from that, you will get +4% from your first ref, +3% from second, +2% from third, +1% from fourth and latter.

So, if you happen to have two people referred (so you have 5+4=9% ref), next time you visit our faucet and win 100 satoshi you will be awarded with additional 9 satoshi. With 20 refs (+30%) and winning 100 satoshi you get additional 30 satoshi. The more refs you have, the more you gain Smiley

We are also going to run some events. The next Sunday (and if it will be popular, all of the following Sundays Smiley) there will be a x10 multiplier (so +1000%!). If you happen to win 100 satoshi, your prize will be increased to 1000 satoshi (0.001 mBTC). All the other rules apply, so you can get your prize once every 8 hours, and all the ref bonuses will apply (so, if you're super lucky, you might get 0.003 mBTC or even more that day!).

So, please remember: go to FreeCoins4.me the next Sunday for a chance of winning 1k satoshi (every 8 hours)! Smiley

So... a new fork coming? They clearly have >51%.
Network hashrate is ~300Mh/s and theirs is almost 200Mh/s so they have almost 2/3 of the entire network (~ 65%) which is A LOT.

And also Team CatCoin pool (has around 80Mh/s so ~ 25% of network) is somewhat stuck with stats like this:
PPLNS Target: 195812
Est. Shares: 156687 (done: 302.82%)
Pool Valid: 474480

This is even worse than Bitcoin at the moment with cex.io having almost half of the network...
