Grading became a little slower for "game" bets in tennis but more consistently graded than before when I had to contact support 3-4 times to have the bets graded, Just need to add the ability to exchange loyalty points for casino spins or something like that.

Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?!
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:58:42 UTC
I think it's just because bitcoin is more of a competitor, it's true that PayPal accept bank accounts and creditcards as deposit methods but that's just because they have to as well as them being in a different market "more physical", Bitcoin would be competition for PayPal and even if they make a BTC wallet they wouldn't be able to charge high fees like they do now..

Re: Bitcoin and Porn

I think bitcoin and porn would be an excellent mix overall considering how people would prefer to maintain there privacy when it's related to things like that, Here you don't have a payment to a porn website in your CC statement but this one is just a number to a privately generated address.

Re: I spent all my saving on bitcoin, now i am broke

I don't think you have lost your savings in bitcoin, If you want you could withdraw it in less than 10 minutes so just consider yourself to be investing it in a project or so, The price is volatile but there is a possibility for profit as well.

bitcoin is the same money and I don't think earning money can be boring. You always feel happy when you earn money so whenever I earn or get paid in bitcoins it's a refreshing thing for me and i can't get bored from it whichever is the way to earn it.

Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC?

21 BTC sum "and value in $" is enough for us to live in a few years, especially if we live in a developing country like me and with low cost of items etc..., but if I had I would invest 21 BTC to several investment options are quite good , such as land and stocks.

Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:44:08 UTC
I do believe it is, I think it's the next step for currency and it's most likely to at least a massive impact on the currencies ticker overall even if it doesn't practically replace fiat currencies anytime soon..

Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:41:46 UTC
In my opinion in 2017 we might have more stable bitcoin prices as we are already seeing in this part of 2016 with stable and a little bit rising price, now with the halving already done and no significant movement I think it will slow down in speed and move more consistently in the positive side.

Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:39:42 UTC
I think bitcoin can be used as salary when it comes to freelancing in general , bitcoin prices are very volatile, so it 's not a fixed salary for each I think that we need to consider it like that, I doubt a physical business would allow BTC as their payment method anytime soon.

Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:38:25 UTC
Mostly as an investment, Collecting them and waiting for a price improvement to earn profit both on daytrading "for usd daily value" and as well as a long term investment to accumulate some btc on long term value.

Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin?
by
kateaustin

500,000 USD would get someone a very good retirement in my country "a third world country as well" but the real difficulty is in reaching the 100 BTC sum, The most reasonable way is buying it but it would be extremely expensive as well.

Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:31:26 UTC
bitcoin is just a currency imo, it can't help countries directly but it can provide an easy and cheap way to conduct transactions and therefore indirectly helping and allowing poor countries to send/receive and possibly improve there local currency value.

Re: People hate Bitcoins?
by

People are either: don't know much about it and blindly follow the media bad coverage on bitcoin considering it only for criminals or those aiming to make profit from encouraging people to sell their bitcoins and therefore getting cheap BTC..

Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:23:16 UTC
it's really hard to fully depend on bitcoin as your salary just because it's not acceptable in shops and restaurants/malls and so on and you would need to exchange btc to your local currency therefore wouldn't be useful to get paid all your salary in BTC.

Re: Danger when buying/selling BTC in person
by

Dealing in with a person you don't know is always risky IMO, you need to be careful in choosing the location to a public place with plenty of people and also try to do multiple small trades rather than a single big trade.

Re: Getting My First Whole Bitcoin?
by
kateaustin
on 29/09/2016, 09:14:55 UTC
it's relatively hard to get a full bitcoin if you aren't ready to buy it, even if you collect it little by little you need to be careful not to use it or like that in the current time, I think coding or designing or promotional effort are the best ways to earn a full bitcoin other than buying.
