The site www.btc.com was bough by GAW miner CEO for 1 million. No idea what he wanted to do with it. Everybody knows him as a big scammer with zencloud and paycoin.
The site is a blockchain viewer at the moment.

To be honest with you, there isn't a website that actually estimates a worth of any websites accurately, some do estimate way below the worth and some does the opposite. For instance I made a website before and payed around $15 then and didn't do anything at all to it and after a week when I check the worth of it , it was staed on some $37 and on some others $22 which both are wrong so it's useless to depend the worth of any website on any online website worth calculator

I am sorry if you took this in the wrong way, but in India there is so much of a divide in every state. If it is a different country, this divide is understandable but how can this divide be allowed in a country like ours? Sure, there are different cultures and all of that, but this does not mean we start looking for only our state mates around here. Was this Localbitcoins that issued the transaction? If so then you should contact them and ask them to reissue a transaction to the address of your choice then try to double spend one of the inputs from this transaction. They should bear the risk that the transaction sent to you gets confirmed because they should know better then to include such a small fee with processing a withdrawal.

If the transaction is from someone who got their bitcoin from Localbitcoins then you should contact them to let them know they should include higher fees when they send transactions in the future.

As far as getting the transaction confirmed, there is not a lot you can do about it.

Well the smallest fraction of a Bitcoin is 0.00000001 BTC which is referred to as 1 satoshi. If you don't want to use decimals, you can always use satoshi for small amounts. I personally tend to think in satoshi for amounts less than 0.001 BTC, so for example I'll refer to 0.00042000 BTC as 42k sat. This is obviously not ideal but for now it's fine for me. I'm sure the devs will think of something as Bticoin adoption rate goes up around the world. Also, the decimals are only scary/confusing in the beginning, you'll get used to it soon enough

A hacker shut down four New Jersey Internet gambling sites for half an hour last week and threatened more cyber-attacks over the holiday weekend unless a ransom was paid using the online currency Bitcoin, authorities said Tuesday.

David Rebuck, director of the New Jersey Gaming Enforcement Division, said Thursday's attack was a so-called distributed denial of service attack, in which websites were flooded with information and requests for access that rendered them inoperative.


Someday, a ransom demanded in BTC will not stand out or make it to the headlines. I hope bitcoin adoption increases to that level.

NewEgg is a pretty reputable computer store and they've been around for a long time. They only ship within the US though.
