Re: Knowing Potential projects
by

The basic thing we need to know is whether the product of the new project is in accordance with the current market conditions and some plans they will do in the future so that it can give great interest to investors to enter the project and the team at work In this project it is also very important for us to pay attention because with a good team, the marketing that will be provided by the project is also good.

It's true that a good team with a working product or at least in testnet stage, especially with a project aim in line with current trend is usually a potential project to watch. Aside checking the core team, I normally check the project backers, and amount of investment they've attracted so far.

Re: Greedy crypto developers

Developers should stop taking investors as fools, you cooked your project up to your taste and everything seem fine enough but because you are too greedy and can't take your eye off DeFi success you decide to switch your project to DeFi. Seriously are investors stupid enough to go along with your obvious trick? To all developers who are doing this, it's a complete slap to your faces, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

I was surprised yesterday to see one project which aimed to use blockchain technology to foster education, so that educations documents and materials can be stored on the blockchain which is immutable, to start mentioning DEFI on all tweets and medium articles just to cash up with the hype. I really like the DEFI concept but most developers are abusing it, how can a project focused on education or sports switch to DEFI? Let's be careful please.

Looking into the future I suggest Cryptocurrency will suspend other past used currencies and take over, what do you think?

Yes, I acknowledge how unique cryptocurrency has been, and the best point is that it removes the need for middleman entirely. However, crypto can't suspend other traditional currencies as proposed here, crypto will still cohabit with FIAT and other digital assets.

I saw the YFI fake airdrops on telegram and laughed so hard. How will someone in his/her widest dream believe they can get 0.1 YFI from airdrop, lol. I don't pity people who fall for such if it turns out to be a waste of time or scam. We should apply common sense before venturing any airdrop.

Re: Why I don't buy Polkadot now
by

on 31/08/2020, 21:05:36 UTC
OP made very good points about polkadot but sometimes it's not always about token sale price, check projects like LEND. If you go by price difference between current price and token sale price for most projects with solid team and progressive development, like LINK, you will be discouraged to buy at current price. OP mentioned ICO price was 30 cents and current price is about 6$, this doesn't matter much provided the demand of the coin increases over time. Polkadot is a dope project, I bought some DOT already. Thanks OP for the sincere in depth analysis.

Re: is defi reason for skyrocketing fees?
by
key4co.in
on 30/08/2020, 08:59:22 UTC
DEFI is partly the reason for high fees on ETH transactions, especially from uniswap. Yesterday I tried swapping my ETH to a token CORN, the tx was so high almost 8$ for a small tranaction. I thought ETH fees dropped by 80% as news had it, what happened after? I believe and hope ETH 2.0 final launch curbs this fee issues, it's annoying. Crypto is supposed to boast of low fee tranactions, this high fee is opposing that notion.

I pity those who will end up getting trapped with some of these YFI copycats like you (OP) mentioned. I saw one YFIII and the likes, they just want to start a new trend of hype with these coins, seeing the success of the originator YFI. DEFI craze is real lol.

Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020?
by
key4co.in
on 28/08/2020, 21:33:42 UTC
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.

The prices are not falling again like you mentioned, it's a healthy correction. Corrections are inevitable to gain more momentum for a bigger movement uptrend, to me we are still in bull market, since I've made good profit this season. I don't know if the 2017 kind of bullrun can repeat itself, but it's very possible.

Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits

Hey Guys,

Can someone explain what are these altcoins and what is the exact reason of so much growth in just 24 hours?
Are they scam or legit? Thanks.

Funny enough I can't even recognize any of the shitcoins on that image. Some of them lack trading volume, some might be pumped by bots and only a few coins with such huge growth in 24 hrs are real. I remember seeing about 1300% for a shitcoin I was holding but with just 140% as daily trading volume on a shitty exchange. Some noobs will still buy the tops for these coins. The buy orders are usually scanty most times.

What are you views and thoughts about flamingo finance? There's not much info out there about it yet.
I've tried to dig up necessary information regarding this Flamingo Finance, but to no avail. Checked their Twitter handle and there is no relevant info, not even website just "coming soon" stuff. It's just promoted by one influencer on twitter (Dahongfei) to create hype around it before launch.

Hello, guys. I would hear you mind about tokens that will rise by your opinion. I have skipped Polkadot and 3 other projects cause i haven't had money, but i wanted to invest these. Can you make up your list of tokens that you have bought or intend to. Except Bitcoin of course. Thanks.

Cardano (ADA) has dumped to a good entry hence do some due diligence by looking into it. I wouldn't know if you prefer large mcaps or mid/low caps. For mid cap coins, check INTERNXT and also Travala (AVA) . Reason why I mentioned INTERNXT is because they have a working storage like STORJ and SIA, also AVA because the development so far is top notch making huge progress and impact in travel industry. This is no guarantee that these coins will rise in future, so do your own research.

Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets
by
key4co.in
on 27/08/2020, 14:09:37 UTC
As long as you get to keep the private key it is safe. I prefer offlne wallets like ledger, trezor, or paper wallets. As long as your private key and seed is safe, you don't have to worry about your funds and it's security. I never leave my funds online especially if it is huge.

I use Trezor and ledger nano, for offline wallets which are cool and more secure. But for ease of use and convenience since I day-trade, I use trust wallet being a Multi-Coin wallet especially for my uniswap tranactions. My offline wallet is where I keep coins for long term hold mainly.

Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market?
by
key4co.in
on 26/08/2020, 21:30:28 UTC
If we look at the market capitalization, ETH is 3 times ahead of Ripple. To beat the ETH ripple price should increase more than 3 times. But with this situation, ETH may also increase to some extent. So in terms of market cap, nothing ca beat ETH in the near future.

Don't say "nothing can" beat ETH in the near future in terms of market cap, better you say it "won't be easy" for any altcoin to surpass ETH's market cap in near future. Nobody can predict what happens next in crypto in future. Well I'm optimistic that ETH will maintain its second position due to its relevance in this space.

Re: What DeFi projects are your radar this week?
by

on 26/08/2020, 13:51:20 UTC
Mantra Dao $OM has been on my watchlist, since some of the team members are from reputable already existing projects and they keep updates coming through. I bought at around 0.3$ on OKEX and sold at 0.5$. Didn't really want to hold for long term since I limit the number of coins/tokens on my portfolio. AAVE too has been very progressive in uptrend, seeing increased percentage in assets locked in the platform. So many DEFI projects now, hence one might be confused on which to consider for long term. PAY too is new, NEXT exchange partner, hoping development progress is great for the project.

Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader
by
key4co.in
on 25/08/2020, 19:44:07 UTC
It depends on trading strategy and how market is moving. If there is a loss on bitcoin then traders will not hold it either and convert it to stable coin. Traders used to convert their alts to btc for stability way before stable coins came along but since some of them have shown to be stable traders are moving towards them when there is instability in the market. Then, there is another market trend when alts become stable and btc starts moving up. that's when traders move their holdings to btc instead of stable. There is no right way to escape loss and as a traders that's a risk you take but with proper market research and training you can make decrease your risk.

There is a point you mentioned which got my attention, "there is no right way to escape loss". Even the strategy suggested by OP is not perfect, even though it might be helpful at times. As a trader, you definitely must lose at some point in time, even of you are a master in TA. If you win most of your trades and lose few, then you are doing great in trading. Even if you win 60-70%, that's not bad.

Re: REALITIES & CHALLENGES OF INVESTMENT PLATFORMS.
by
key4co.in
on 25/08/2020, 14:02:24 UTC
I recently stumbled on crypto based investment platform called allbullish and pennywise and am really skeptical about investing in it, the challenges of investing in most crypto investment platform is that most of this platforms lack regulations and continuity. How can one know a genuine crypto investment platform?

Those platforms you mentioned are all ponzi, that's not cool investment. They are pyramid schemes and you know how they always end. In as much as early birds might benefit, some set of investors will regret venturing into it. Do not invest in sites promising you ROI for doing nothing, just trade with peace of mind. Or go into yield farming, staking, lending. You can do Binance lending with BUSD and get a decent ROI which looks small but ok, at least you are sure it's legit.

Re: No exchange? No Value!
by

on 24/08/2020, 21:56:32 UTC
The rise of decentalised exchanges have helped a lot of small projects in this regard. Now they don't have to worry about paying big bucks to the centralized exchanges to list their tokens.

This is true, some few good projects which list on uniswap for free are doing, even though there are so many scam projects taking advantage of uniswap and other dex like bamboorelay, forkdelta to list scam tokens. A good centralized exchange with high trading volume is necessary, but uniswap trading volumes surpass many CEX nowadays.

Theta surge by 16% while ALGO and Waves too join the ride

Click to read - https://coinpedia.org/news/theta-algo-waves-leads-gains/

I made some profit trading ALGO and TFUEL today, but left the trade already. I need to get in WAVES since it has good FA and charts looking bullish, but my buy entry hasn't been filled on Binance. I don't usually buy coins when they are pumping already, I look for a good entry from my technical analysis and place buy limit order.

.I don't want to invest on any altcoin or bitcoin.I want to invest in projects that sell a lot on ico.Even after ICO is sold, they are much more successful. You tell me about a good project.

I'm still trying to figure out what you actually mean by this statement. You don't want to invest in any altcoin or Bitcoin? What do you mean by projects that sell a lot on ICO? Do you mean you want to invest in ICOs? If so you are taking higher risk than anyone investing in already trading coins. If you only invest to make fast profit and exit, most times you will get it wrong with that mindset.

Re: Whats your thought about New projects?
by
key4co.in
on 22/08/2020, 12:16:34 UTC
Right now its basically almost impossible to familiarize yourself with every project that others may perceive as "promising" as there is a constant torrent of new DeFi projects that are popping up left and right. I try to weed out the ones with a low market cap, a working product and a solid team, so I lower the chances of being dumped on after the initial hype subsides.

Very correct, there are many new projects especially DEFI focused and one has to be extremely selective when investing in these new projects. At a time, I can't invest in more than two new projects to reduce risk. Some people jump on any new DEFI project they come across, hoping it pays off soon, this is a very wrong concept of investment.
