I just received my unit a couple days ago.  I set it up temporarily and it worked fine on the ethernet. I moved it to permanent location and ethernet stopped working.  Tried different cables and verified cable worked on another PC.  Wireless works fine but signal is weak in basement.  Any thoughts?

Behold, my first ETH rig - BRUTUS -

5 x MSI R9-390 (about 28MH each x 5 = 140MH, no overclocking yet)
Pool: about 3.5-4 coins per day at Dwarfpool. Moved to ethpool.org, 5 coins every 1.5 days
Asrock H81 BTC Pro motherboard on Windows 8.1 Pro
Minimalist Celeron Dual core CPU with Crucial 4GB x 2
Samsung 850 Pro 120GB SSD
EVGA 1300w x 2 (next rig will use EVGA-1600w)
Custom open-cage rack
USB cable - PCI risers

Credits: thanks to "thedreamer" for helping me out with my first rig.
Note: I can't get the 6th x GPU working...  Angry

I am working on my next ETH rig, OLIVE....

What site did you use for that setup?  Looks interesting.   And if I may ask what is amount invested in that rig?

Just boxed up Corsair CX750M's and pulled the stock fans out of the S5's. Replaced those with Corsair SP120 fans. Replaced PSU's with an evga 1300G2 Supernova.

Right now window cracked open - running cold air intake mode! Once I figure how they will rest will secure them then get on that red cable management. What a mess.

Couldn't be happier with the new fans or the new power. Love these machines, especially now that they are liveable and silent compared to stock.

What red light on bottom left of picture?

The screws are M3 thread, shouldn't be too hard to track down. If you get in a bind on long screws, I have a whole case of about 50mm length bought for R808 assembly before that project shut down.

You have any cases of fans left from the project?  I'd like to purchase 20 fans or so if you have them for my R808's

But can you elaborate on you command line you are using for all the versions of 'pacs' you are using?  My original compacs appear to be coming up as unhealthy and reseting.

They did get back to me last night, asking what kind of demand I'd have. Haven't heard any more yet but hopefully they're willing to work with someone who'll have to start small (my chips budget right now is only five figures) and snowball instead of dumping in a quarter million dollars up-front or whatever.

That is good news!  I hope they work with you.

New update if this tells anyone anything - I am still getting the failures with constant resets. Last night I had these running for 12 hours or so and it had cycled through nearly 180 of these errors:

And so on for hours on end. I found it when I woke up today and restarted everything, but one of my miners is getting that failure error every few minutes or so. It successfully starts again at 100mHz and eventually goes up (I have them set to max 150 right now to make sure overwork isn't the cause of this) until it resets again. Cycling through this process means my overall hash rate is about 10-15 less than it should be when averaged out... plus the unsettling feeling that one of these is on the verge of breaking...

You using latest version of cgminer listed on front page?  Also you using Windows 10?  How many terminus you running.  I ran each of mine at standard settings individually for 24 hours to be sure I achieved the results sidehack had posted.

Been running at 200Mhz for 3 days.  Average has been steady right around the reported rate for 200Mhz.  My question is the HW errors normal?  Core voltage is set at the 'factory setting'  Would adjusting that decrease or increase errors?

Wow that's pricey. I could buy 2 extra miners for that price.

It is but I used it at my work to offset the cost when I needed to update 500+ motorola scanners that needed a firmware update.  Smiley

Well, it's recognizing 8 chips. That's the first hurdle. Not really sure what's going wrong next, except maybe the core voltage is cranked way down for some reason and the string drops out as soon as it lights up and then gets re-set and redetected.

Although, looks like it did run for about ten minutes before bailing out the first time, and then it started cycling. I've seen similar behavior on one or two during final testing, but I haven't torn into them to track down the cause.

I have 2 devices that are having issues.  I will look at them more this weekend when I have more time but one essentially does not work at all and I will be interested what the log says.  The other appears to run for around an hour than stops.  Like I said I'll get specifics this weekend.  The other ones seem to be running fine on Windows using PCIe connection.

There's something seriously wrong with your setup, if those hashrates are to be trusted. Nothing's running more than about half as fast as it should.

I removed all the USB sticks out of the equation.  Adjusted the voltage.  Short sampling but here it is now.
