Is it  possible to run the wallet on a recent linux installation?

I get all kinds of problems with the need to install ancient versions of libraries like:

/infinitecoin-0.10.4.1-linux64/infinitecoin-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.58.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

libboost_system.so.1.58.0 was part of Ubuntu 16.4, which was released in 2019. It is not available in newer distributions.

Use CPU to mine cryptocurrency of scrypt algorithm?

It is an experiment with a device that is running 24/7 anyway at an extremely low power usage.

For starters I'm pleasantly surprised to have the miner running and hashes being produced that are accepted.

I'm trying to mine some coins on my RPI 3b:

using cpuminer-multi-linux, compiled to use neon.

started using this command:
./cpuminer -o stratum+tcp://amxpool.com:9391 -u iS6JBnKVHabMM1YD6RPGFuaTSooxJ8KQfJ -t 2

I get:
** cpuminer-multi 1.3.7 by tpruvot@github **
BTC donation address: 1FhDPLPpw18X4srecguG3MxJYe4a1JsZnd (tpruvot)

Is that a realistic hashing speed?
Does that even get to get me a share of the coins of the amxpool?

Hi All,

New here.

For me wallet v0.8.7.5-g355d8bc-beta takes "forever" to get a fresh copy of the blockchain.
After restarting it, I now have 8 network connections and in 24 hours received 2372151 blocks.  Huh

Welcome to the infinitecoin community
0.8-core client can choose to set up 1 node for fast synchronization
But do not open the UPNP of the network device, otherwise it will be very slow

Yes, this works:

./Coins/infcoin-0.8/infinitecoin-qt -connect=95.217.78.80:9321

Thanks for helping out!
