I have tested USX only current exchange coinhouse.eu now and well... at least it works. You can set up an account in a second, deposit coins, make trades and even get your money back from there. So surely better than nothing at all at this point.

Market capitalization for USDe is 670.000. That's really nothing when you think about it. You could buy an apartment with that but certainly not luxury one depending location. Increasing that to tenfold figure could happen in a week if things start really to turn on. Next what I would like to see is that e.g. Cryptsy could start accepting fiat and people could buy in directly.

Facebook paid around 19.000.000.000 for Whatsup. That's serious money for a mobile app that is (almost) free to use and easily switched for another like Kik. USDe is currently worth 2/3 mil.

Hence, as a trader, you could have placed a stop around 155-158 and bought back in in the 100-120 zone.

That's right I don't. Yet. But it would be interesting to know since in cryptoworld it should, if anywhere, play some role to make market forecasts. That's certain that  fundamentals are playing lesser part here than in the stock market. After all this is gambling.

Actually I was thinking something like oh well he's giving forecast with 60pct chance going up from say 180 to 300 and 40pct chance to go down from 180 to 110. So that would give something like 0.6x(300-180)= 72sat and 0.4x(180-110)= 28sat. And so holding my pot gives better EV for my investment, I hold and head for the pub.

But certainly there were some borders given that if it goes to 150 it probably goes to 100. I understand what you are trying to say... I'm not dumb.

This might be true in Wall Street or somewhere else where a trader has infinite or near infinite amount of money at his disposal. Bank's money or other peoples money. He can simply say oh this was a loser, dump it and increase bets next day for an another horse. If he loses again he just doubles down. Then he gets a winner and everything is fine. Every ten or twenty years it gets to the point where FED or taxpayer driven bailout is required and they will get it. Every time. And they get bonuses and paid too so it is win-win anyway win or lose. But as a private investor paying everything form your own pocket and no-one backing you up you just can't dump it all and pick up next because you go broke. Should one who bought BC at 50k now sell it all or just hold and see what happens?

I didn't return the 2nd one and bought Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV 280X package for it. And it works so well and runs so cool now. Only 50C at 75% fan settings, the rig outside and +20C weather and crushing numbers full throttle. Not too hard to assembly but of course you will need some basic tweaking skills like holding a screwdriver and patience. Highly recommended if you can afford it or find one cheap.

Very nice indeed. This has been my best investment and mining coin so far. Hope you got some good news in your sleeve. I have sold some to get btc and my initial investments back, but mostly I still have it and still mining more. Good coin to mine even after block halving. Why not mine a coin with a trend going up.

Mining pot @ 4,10c/kWh coal burned electricity. Rigs are outside. I wonder how much they warm atmosphere before the heat is shifted in space.

I hope miners are hooked to this business and they start to pump all that hardware-money to the exchanges. Asic guys can do the dirty work I just want to wear 2k suit and 40k watch like Jordan Belfort.

You feel that thrill because you haven't experienced this mining shit at worst when shit literally hits the fan. Because for me it just happened again. Another fan broke from R9 280X. This hardware just ain't going to last full throttle use for years, few months maybe if you're lucky. Then you can wait weeks to get a replacement from warranty. I have one card already returned and now i have to go return this one too. Or you can spend for high-end cooling which by the way will cost money.

If you are beginner then you will probably swear more than once when you find correct settings and other minor things.

But if you really want then go for it. I just think you would have a better chance to invest that 1k directly to bitcoin, convert it to alternate currencies and start trading.

And what about asics then? Well I bet those chips and fans broke down too. And it will be very hard to get replacement parts. I still have a chance to sell my gear to gamers or start to play WoW or internet poker myself. Asic gear will be just junk and worthless.

I would like to point out an improvement to the wallet. There should be a systray note that the wallet has been backed up when it is backed up. People get nervous when they don't see anything to happen when backing up their money.

Meanwhile the price of usde is pretty attractive to invest assuming it is not going to go bankrupt.
