Being in the position of a project (KOVRITA.IO) which seeks new exchange partnerships, it is difficult to keep track of recently launched exchanges on existing forums.
Do you think that new subforum creation with the title something like "Exchange Announcements" will be of interest to the general public as well?
Please leave your opinionated comment, so that such a proposal can be considered by the moderators.

Halving: I am always amazed by the positive outlook at what seems to be the exact opposite for pricing event.
The fact that there will be fewer coins produced per time period than before is not likely to have too much of an impact, because of the big average volatility and, probably, because market already is looking at pricing as if the entire, maximum possible supply was already mined.
What is a potentially negative factor is that miners are about to get their earnings being cut in half instantly. This means that some of them may just become not profitable, therefore leave. This, in turn, could cause a chain reaction.

You have to agree that having a single, centralized, under constant attack "stablecoin", in what supposed to be the decentralized environment, is one Huge problem.
Tether is "standing grounds" only because the current market is 100% helpless in front of it, regardless of the fact to what extent it may be not backed.

Without any competition of similar size or with better underlying logic (think Kovrita), this $4 Billion "Coin Monster" can keep "the grounds" by keeping printing IOUs, regardless of the collateral it has. I am not even saying this "can happen", this is already happening.

This is where the whole industry seems to be going:
Corporation this, Venture Capital that..., KYC this, IRS Letters that...

Perhaps it is so, because more and more people are beginning to see and realize that BTC market is heavily manipulated, therefore they no longer reacting too much, when it comes to "follow the leader" kind of logic.

I think every centralized exchange needs to switch and host a decentralized version of it, to gain more trust from users.
In theory, by such switching, any honestly run exchange will not only retain its profits but likely and quickly increase them.
More coins, more users, more trades, but most importantly, no more coins custodianship concerns!

The Etherum DApp which our project's Developers Team has created may be a good fit for personal "hot wallets". That is, for daily use on the Internet.

The DApp is called Kovrita Account User Interface (KAUI).
This is basically a user-friendly MetaMask (and other Web3 browsers) replacement, where user's Ethereum wallet is protected by the UserID/Password combination and (optional) two-factor authentication (Google Auth supported)

Currently, users can send and receive Ether and USDk stablecoins, but support for other tokens will be available too.

What originally started as the project's Team desire to offer better security to its users on Kovrita SableCoins platform, became the standalone DApp and currently, this is a fully functional prototype with further development options open.
 
For the extra protection of Ethereum Wallet, our Team developed what we call, for now, Kovrita Account User Interface (KAUI) DApp.
This is basically a user-friendly replacement of the MetaMask (and other Web3 browsers), where the user's Ethereum wallet/address can be created and protected not just by a passphrase, but by the UserID/Password combination.
To top it all up, the Team added TOTP to (optionally) enable two-factor account authentication (Google Auth supported).

I am skipping some of the technical peculiarities here, but ultimately DApp's UserID/Password combination is encrypted and "recorded" on Ethereum blockchain.

Users can also create more than one Kovrita Accounts if more than one Ethereum addresses is needed. At this time, for user security reasons, KAUI DApp does allow for the import/export of private keys.

This is also a well overdue trend and a very good one!
More choices, more freedom of fiat movements, bigger combined market cap.
Kovrita is here to partner with every one of them, down to the last LocalBitcoiner, by offering to own a stake in the project.
From the very start, the project and its stablecoins belong to the public and everyone is invited to own a portion of it.

Well, Tether IS actually accepted for deposits at Kovrita project, but only to be converted into something more real..

Well, this is an unfortunate accusation, especially because it pretty much set the stage for the rest of the piled-up negativity in this thread.
"Scam Exchange"? How is anything you posted serves to be an indication of such strong accusation?
From what I know, this exchange is pretty much in a testing mode even today.
Can you point out at one person being scammed? Probably not, but isn't it what is required to "support" an accusation like that?

Do you think that perhaps some testing might be required now and then and that perhaps you simply witnessed such an event?
RE "...40 people ... suddenly exit..." , or could this be an indication of some fine programming of trading algorithms (bots) being worked on to serve platform market makers and users, all built-in?

It will not, exactly for that reason.
The contract is minting AND burning USDk in real-time, based on the current at any given moment US Dollar rate for Ether. Deposit of ETH mints corresponding amount of USDk, while the withdrawal of ETH from the contract, burns it right then.

USDk Stablecoin itself does not change in value. The Kovrita incentivization model is based on issuing extra USDk to those staking it.
