quite professional of you to use terms like that. But seriously, to write off every actual concern over the years with a simple comment of "personal conflict" is peak ingenuousness.

simply put, he is his own worst enemy. I have no need to point it out further. everyone sees it now, except for the chosen few, like you who will remain willfully ignorant and cannot fathom mustering a decent response to the substance of the discussion.

I did not parody your fanboy response for your approval. I did it for the benefit of the users who are not on telegram to see the IRONYFRACTAL for themselves. He is literally using arguments that are actually previous accusations of his behavior, just parroting words back at people.

Like you, just parroting words lapdogs and socks use.

happy SOCKTOBER

Okey, i stopped using desktop freewallet over two years ago, when I discovered it was saving plaintext passphrases locally in web data file. I emptied every wallet that touched the software and that is how I discovered zero qty ownership sweeps fails! (fixed now)

(i supose somewhere is a confusion , not only on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/freewallet.io , but also at https://coinbureau.com/review/freewallet/ :
 - they said:
Quote
Warning ⚠️: The site Freewallet.io is NOT associated with the Freewallet.org wallet being reviewed. Do not trust it! Be sure to find the download links at freewallet.org
) . No comment .

Yeah, that's true, its an unfortunate choice of naming. Although it has been brought to his attention multiple times, he has made no public effort to rebrand. There is a telegram room for support, but I would not waste my time/data

TBH there IS a huge rift happening between two Counterparty dev camps right now.

For those who may not know Villar had become the sole active maintainer, but unfortunately died of COV1D. In the power vaccume, J-Dog paid and ignorantly directed John's brother to push hostile changes on Counterparty for the years since. The original devs are back with a new team and have spent the last last 9+ months bringing Counterparty up to speed. Listen to the multiple interviews that the OP has done with the emblem finance guys: there was too much TECH DEBT!! (No wonder Counterparty had been hemorrhaging projects for years, everything was becoming more convoluted, and less stable!) The testing suite had been broken for 8+? years, so I'm not sure why anyone would pushing for continual upgrades, unless they benefited personally. People who want to complain about recent features and access to them are missing the context and do not understand what is happening on a deeper level.

Not really happy that the fans of Jeremy have managed to become institutionalized by cult of the personality. A lot of stuff has been broken FOR YEARS dues to "upgrades" by the hubris of the ill informed. That's contrary to all these actual improvements. They only asked for funds once, and that was to pay a very talented dev to put in the hard hours in a short amount of time.

Things are being ironed out. This new professional approach is so much better than the sophomoronic hostility that stunted the protocol for too many years now. I was really growing tired of barking lapdogs who are not properly house trained. As a consequence of Jeremy's behavior, a new telegram room has been established, where the OP is actually admin. He created it after being subjected to unnecessary drama
http://t.me/counterpartygeneral

fixed it

also, while listening to Joe try to explain reality from indoctrination during the last twitter hangout I came up with a term for what we are all in right now: Irony Fractal

One of my more favorite works of cryptoart on Counterparty is a glimpse into this paradoxical ruler. Being so clueless as having commissioned this artwork as a statement is a glimpse of the absurd levels of irony we are mired in. It seems he is hopping into his balloon next to float himself into another world where he can continue to make unilateral decisions on behalf of "the community"
https://tokenscan.io/asset/WIZARDOFXCP

I didn't come here to talk about Jeremy. Yet, I am overjoyed that so many users are now ready to move on without him. Ive been working on getting him fully evicted from my headspace for a while now, and I think I may have him finally uninstalled (unlike freewallet)

Do you know Why in the freewallet.io (run in the google chrome web)

The web version of that wallet has not been updated in many years. It is unfortunate that the creator does not have the consideration to put notice on the interface.

Re: [ANN] Ethereum domains for sale, please make an offer for one or all <3
by
krostue
on 16/05/2024, 00:45:02 UTC
the following gTLDs were registered as soon as they were available, and have had one owner since. no one has used them, yet

Please hmu if you are interested in any of the following
  • ethereum.contractors - Great name for an agency that writes custom contracts
  • ethereum.systems - Planning and implementing multi-tiered user systems
  • ethereum.construction - Who doesn't remember Under Construction landing pages?
  • ethereum.solutions - Perfect for offering b2b solution integration
  • ethereum.training - Great for selling educational matterial and or certified training courses
  • ethereum.support - End users support will always be needed. Seize this opportunity to cash in
  • ethereum.computer - This will be especially relevant once ETH becomes PoS. Single board nodes would sell themselves

They are not free, but I am willing to go below asking price
escrow available, btc payment preferred, eth accepted

*notice: these registrations were made in good faith that the industry would create the need for hired help in the form of goods and services that are compatible with but outside the scope of the directive foundation

I am looking to adopt these off to some organization/dev/user who is competent and wants to do something. The whole reason I bought these was that I figured I'd be able to situate myself into being able to use these by now to offer services to the public. I no longer believe I will be able to eventually curate these properly.

All in all, if you are interested in taking care of these, please reply or PM me with a proposal or a short statement of intention and I may just sell it to you at a discount. please send me your best offer using the obo ebay lots listed at ethereum.properties (this domain also included in this offer). ETH/BTC payment accepted

These are all registered at name.com and expire March or February of 2025. Obviously, if they do not sell, i will renew them as i have done for the last ten years for about $40 each. But eventually some generic squatter will get them if i spot renewing. This is your opportunity.

I would much rather have the token point to my own hosted json file.

The bug was reported to counterparty at least 2 years ago if not more. Sub assets cannot be modified once they leave the wallet of the parent asset. But I still want mine

When two people say the same thing at the same time in a conversation in real life they say jinx.

When this happens online, it is called a preev. It is an online term that predates bitcoin. (urban dictionary)

I always figured this was the best site for current price because it was aggregated from several sources. Ideally the sources would say the same thing, and have a preev. Otherwise the site must have needed to weigh the responses to determine the actual median or mean, or whatever method it used.

In just under 24 hours Counterparty will host our first Developer Meeting in over a year. While previously this has been hosted in other platforms, instead we are delighted to be able to use Telegram due to recent upgrades. Please join us in the Official Counterparty Chat, on Sunday, July 18th at noon EST in the voice channel for an informal meeting about what upgrades Counterparty has had in the last year. This will also be a great opportunity to showcase something you have been working on! Please send an email to press@counterparty.io as soon as you are able, if you are interested in presenting.

If you are unable to attend a great way to catch up on what has been going on in the community would be to read our newsletter. The current issue was posted earlier this month. If you are on the eMail list, you should have already received a link. https://counterparty.io/news/counterparty-newsletter-july-2021/

Will their rush to sell influence the effectiveness of these namespaces in denarius?

Theodore "Duncan" Krostue Brings a Personal Touch to CounterParty Public Relations and Group Meetings as New Outreach Manager

Duncan draws on a strong history of decentralized internet publishing, peer to peer technology, blockchain tech, cryptoart, and online agency experience along with an academic background of informatics and marketing to offer public relations duties a competent voice. Over the last four years he has rooted himself as a publisher, heavy user, elected representative and now as Outreach Manager of CounterParty. Getting the newsletter on a regular publication schedule and the monthly meeting streaming again are top priorities for this new brand manager and spokesperson. Starting immediately he is calling for submissions of articles and contact from projects as well as reaching out to press agencies in order to facilitate healthier communication between the community of users and the general public.

Duncan looks forward to a fruitful future for all involved with the CounterParty protocol, from publishers to collectors and especially innovators. To kick off his duties, Duncan is asking for any and all leads for articles or authors to reach out at CounterPartyTalk.org and/or email him directly at the official account: press@counterparty.io. He is now taking information from those interested in presenting information in the upcoming July 2021 newsletter or yet to be scheduled teleconference late next month. Updates about existing projects will be sought out and retold if not volunteered. Please contribute by sending a short synopsis and contact information for new projects or relevant information that should be included in the upcoming issue and or episode.

I have a super rare full Satoshi Card and I am wondering if the market for such a card can be revived???
If I wanted to part with that card,
I would contact t.me/wthauctionhouse to see if there is still time to submit if for the upcoming Live Auction in Sydney held during futureArt.io

Otherwise, they will probably add it to the queue for the upcoming auctions.

Is counterparty dead? I just found out I have some lying around lol.

Selling XCP.

I would encourage you two to set up a dispenser.

is PhantomPhreak...
any other Counterparty developers still active

The original foundation disbanded over two years ago.
The last remaining dev did a major overhaul recently as mentioned in my hyperlinked comment above... there are many things going on in this community that are not on the surface level, let alone being talked about or marketed.
CIP 22 got funded, coded, tested and implemented, thanks to those involved: Monacoin community, Jdog, and Villar.

there are changes that have been in the works for the last year or so. PMs open if you are interested in getting involved

This site is currently undergoing an upgrade and will be updated when the upgrade is completed. Thank you for your patience!

I want to make a Token on Counterparty, so what is the best way to do that?

Tokenista, the explorer is not functioning because the whole system is undergoing massive upgrade which is nearly complete. After this time it will be possible to create a token using multiple different methods.

The main server is currently undergoing "full parse," which will last a few more days, most likely.

After this time it will be ideal to host your own node, if interested, right ffmad?
