Forgive me if this is answered in OP, but I am assuming I need a T.V. subscription to use your indicators is that correct? Thanks.

Also, what are GAM tokens used for?

lol and that install for mac was soooooo windows  Grin  Nice work NXT, brought me out of the woodwork!

I agree with that, but well it's working.  Grin

Yah! Not complaining! Just finished downloading the entire blockchain from scratch as putting nxt_db into the app didnt seem to help like it used to... but hey, that was pretty fast and now I'm all synchronized with the network! Best part is full functionality of the NXT network!

All the simple math goes out the window if they can 'package' the information and use a single entry credit.
The purpose of Factom is not to store information, it is proof of existence, and proof of integrity.

If anyone pays attention to anything on this page it should be this post. Thank you for sharing @laurelled.

Re: [ANN] [RBY] ★★ Rubycoin ★★ A precious gem for the digital age

Wallet can't be empty. Your balance / network weight x 960 (blocks per day) gives estimation how many 4 rby rewards you should get per day. But remember that blocks mature in 500 blocks which equals to about 12 hours and 30 minutes. That's minimum time to wait before your coins start to stake.

thanks!

Hello. Anyone please tell me,why Rubycoin fly too high from nothing? I remember Rubycoin price has been  200-400 satoshi  a time ago. Why other altcoins not fly to high from nothing? Sorry l just newbie and l want to know:-) From what is this high price now?

A new website is being worked on and will have more information. We are still small, and there is much room for improvement, but from a development point of view, a few things set us apart:

- Full time development.

- Survived longer than most, well beyond the average lifespan of a cryptocurrency, and thriving.

- Up to date with security patches: https://github.com/rubycoinorg/rubycoin/commits/master

- Proof-of-stake enables holders to earn Rubycoin as a reward for keeping their wallet open. Holders are essentially miners, rather than separating the two like proof-of-work does.

- Up to date with the most modern, fair, and secure version of proof-of-stake.

- Pure proof-of-stake is energy-efficient. Large amounts of electricity are not being used.

- Decentralized / No centralized checkpointing.

so does this PoS require stake? OP just says reward 4 rby ....so just an open wallet? can wallet be empty?

yeah the ol memory is a real bitch on the pi...

did you do this:

Code:
sudo raspi-config - Advanced Options -> Memory Split -> set GPU memory to minimum (16MB)

??

if so then you will have to make a swap file. basic instructions for doing so here though I strongly recommend trying the memory split first cause a swap file is going to slow compile down significantly.

Let me make sure I understand. How do I try a memory split? The above sudo command? If I run the above code I also need to add a swap file?

I think maybe the wiki needs to be updated. I was following the Raspberry Pi installation guide and got hung up on the Steps for Compiling daemon. I ran the commands for step 1. Terminal reports having received all objects. Running the second group of commands the terminal changes to the HyperStake subdirectory and reports
Code:
./autogen.sh: autoconf: not found
I don't know too much about compiling, but looks as though the autogen file references a file (autoreconf) that does not exist anymore. Can anyone help me through this?

Hey

Was trying to download the blockchain, but I seem to be stuck. Running the 2.0 qt on MAC. Showing significant network traffic on my startcoin client. But I've been stuck on 143124 for a very long time and am receiving an error message at the top of client that says
Code:
Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.

Should I delete my blockchain db and start over? I am running the newest client.

Can't help you there, sorry, but maybe you can download the bootstrap file here? https://bchain.info/START/

Whoah! thanks! I was unaware of this service probably partially because I haven't been toying around with alts too much lately. Market has been slow and there aren't too may alts I am interested in these days.  Wink

I can do that in my sleep.
Nope, you cant.

But it is indeed child's play, in comparison to the real intent/goals behind this project. Focus should be on the actual necessary steps to achieve the goals of this project. Bells and whistles should come after a minimum viable product. This does not qualify as an MVP because at the current state of the project is is essentially (on the surface) a copy of other qt-clients already developed. I only hold this coin for the mere potential behind the concept, not  because of a developer who has proved his worth.

welcome to the wonderful world of risk & return. the moment vTorrent dev produces the evidence we're all hoping for the price goes bananas immediately - we all know that - so IMO there's absolutely no point in busting the devs balls. I actually appreciate that he hasn't done any unnecessary fluff promotion as it probably means he's focused on his real world life commitments & vTorrent project, and isn't the type of person who wastes his time. I want to see the torrent features as much as the next guy but right now this is the moment where the investors assume RISK, in the hope of future REWARD. To complain is pointless, we all know the situation, and there wasn't an ICO, and afaik the premine coins haven't been dumped, so that leads me to conclude that vTorrent dev's only reward will be increased price, like the rest of us.

We're all assuming risk, dev with his time spent so far, and investors who bought coins.

So true wayyyyyy too much fluff around these forums. I think you're onto something.

interesting... downloaded the classic client. downloaded 1500 blocks in just a few minutes. Something in the code may have gotten messed up in the v2 client... Either that or it's just slow AF b/c of the bittrex stats/trading features.

I think that only real maniacs will be ready to wait for so long in order to sync the full chain.

So true, anything significantly less convenient than the current standard will certainly deter the vast majority of BitTorrent users.

Personally I think the syncing feature of the client urgently needs to be fixed before developments in other departments should be taken too far. I opened my client overnight and the last 10 days of activity still haven't synced up.

I'm running the client since a few hours ago and the syncing is slowly going... 22%

It took me dayyyyyyys to download the full chain.. maybe over a week. That's pretty bad for a "torrent" coin who's blockchain size is in the range of 250mb. It is still a young ambitious coin.

Anyone know what the v is for?
