Bitcoin laundering services exist to address such concerns. While this is not perfect, it should address typical transaction-tracking concerns. In those situations where certain transactions might be tracked... well, it isn't clear to what extent this is a real problem in terms of anonymity. A company need not have a single receiving address, for example.

Pretty cool; and logical.

Edit: this made me raise an eyebrow: "...50% of the proceeds will be donated to the VFW, and 50% will be donated to 4chan to support free speech on the internet."

Last time I checked, 4chan does not equal Anonymous... but whatever.

I'd say they may start seriously considering it when 1 BTC = 500 USD. They're playing in sums far beyond the reach of the collective BTC at its current value by far...

I do document delivery for any documents pertaining to scientific, engineering, technology, etc. topics; I'm able to do this because of my general location which gives me access to such materials. Wouldn't mind doing document requests for BTC; I am not a member of CCC, so no one needs to worry about copywrong unless you're publishing things that will follow you down the road.

Edit: feel free to send me request by e-mail. I'll first have to verify I can obtain the document/article you request. Naturally, I will either confirm or deny. In the case that I confirm, you'll be given a BTC send address. Once you receive a locked copy of the file, you will have to send payment. Once payment is received, you will receive the code to unlock the file. Transactions are strictly confidential. (All documents are PDF format, of course.) Note: considering the current USD to BTC conversion rate, document requests easily will cost less than 1 BTC.

I tried the faucets before I got a free FPGA. The FPGA is definitely the better option... and practically no effort. Faucets et al. advised for those who have no other means and desire to learn about BTC, but it isn't a steep learning curve, anyway.

Edit: I'd like to be added to the lotto as well. Definitely still a newbie. Smiley

What's really insane is the number of alternatives/spin-offs that are already out there.

Namecoin, Litecoin, Freicoin, etc. Looks like it's a matter of time until we see how these others fare in the digital market. Interesting stuff.

Relatively new user and miner of BTC. Currently using a single FPGA miner at ~800MH/s. Hoping to explore BTC more thoroughly and, as my namesake would suggest, try my hand at winning it big.
