There is no point in discussing whether CATA has chosen right path or not since they are not disclosing anything about the project so far. As long as they kept everything secret we cant say whether they will be successful or not.

Thats true. But those projects who wanna excel have to take care of this aspect otherwise there project wont get success. I am sure CATA is big project and will not get involved in any fake data.

China is again under lock down due to corona. So it will be very difficult for this team to deliver this project on time. May be that's the reason why we are not seeing much update about this project.

That may be  good thing but there long absense from social media at this part of project is alarmingly.
they need to pay attention to there social media teams and must mobilize them asap.

There is no doubt that Metaverse is most popular term these days even Facebook is after this term. We have to wait and see how thing wrap around this new concept. Its common that everyone run around new thing.

You can contact them at  info@cata.network, I send them an email regarding how to get coins early on. To my surprise they replied, though reply was not what I wanted but still this shows that project is alive.

I would say its a brave move by all who are launching projects at a time when market is bearish and too much saturated with projects. Now it will require real effort that's backed by a competent team to make a project successful. Don't think it's too easy to get success in current market.

But I dont think MASS is the right choice at the moment since its price is way too down and we are not hearing any project update about the project. Just look at some other coin that can give you good return in coming future. I dont think MASS has good future in coming days.

One of the core component of CATA project is Minerva,  which is a data query engine made by combining three co-operating components: Qri- the data management tool, Drill- the distributed query engine, and IPFS- the storage backend. Minerva is the one that will take the CATA to next level.

Daily volume is not the criteria that tells whether a coin has good future or not. But we have to see other fundamentals also and this is reality that there is no news coming about this project for many months so its very risk to think about it.

There are few in China and far east that are utilizing MASS in there operations. Overall the altcoin market is down thats why we are not seeing much price hike in MASS. If you can wait for sometime then buying MASS at current price is ideal. 

Same was said for MASS even when it was not on any exchange. You need to find how much HDD is sufficient to mine MASS profitably. If you have sufficient storage space that can give you profit then you can go for it. Otherwise just buy it from exchnage.

BOOM hodlers are not having good time with this coin as boom is testing patience of its hodlers badly. BTC touched its ATH and still very much high in price but this coin refused to go up. Dont know how much more time this coin will take to go up.

There will be DEX built into your system. I just wanna know what tokens that DEX will be supporting and in the presence of so many DEX why someone will come to this DEX? Just curious.

I dont think there are much options to mine profitable crypto these days. Everything requires huge investment. If you are fortunate enough to mine this coin before it was listed on any exchange then fine otherwise now its too late to mine MASS token.

AFAIK they are building a general purpose cloud storage infrastructure for Web 3.0 that is different from current decentralized
storage solutions (e.g. Filecoin, Arweave, etc.).
Its not just a specific storage module (e.g. file system or database). Rather they are building a more complete storage system, or rather, a decentralized Big Data system, to provide more flexible, scalable, and practical data management services for upper layer of decentralized applications.

MASS is still a good choice for those who are new to mining and in learning phase, apart from that if you have good enough storage space going in waste then its good to spare that for mining MASS. It will defiantly give you some profit. Rest DYOR before doing anything like that

BOOM price has gone up considerably but it looks like its not able to capitalize on it. The price is continuously going down after the two spikes seen in recent months. BTC is going up again, hopes are that BOOM may also go up.

This is what I extracted while going through there document section. CATA is basically designing protocols for FLOW blockchain, this is big thing as FLOW has already gathered a big market.
