Dear Client,

Please give us a little time to trace your deposit with our bank.
we'll contact you additionally if it is needed.

Best Regards,

You've had 6 months. My bank trace that I provided to btc-e proves that the money was received.

How can you just now be posting about a deposit made a year ago? I would open a new ticket ASAP, and please report back here when you find out they did not steal your money.
Because i'm not just now posting after a year, read some of my posts related to BTC-E on this forum.
I've opened several tickets and sent dozens of emails with BTC-E (even prior to their help desk website being online) regarding this issue - all correspondence had been "we'll get back to you" following by months of inaction and now a 2nd closed ticket.
Con artists.

Just had a ticket closed that was opened in January 2014 about a missing bank deposit in mid 2013.
Deposit was never credited to my account despite a bank trace confirming they received the money, and no explanation was given for closing my ticket.
I'd recommend avoiding this company like the plague - they're just blatant conmen.

Regarding flipstyles valid argument of maza's adoption within the reservation's economy...
They could get around that if for example the local store (assume it's the centre of their economy) was owned/funded/operated locally via membership in a co-operative or collective.
The local store would make available the option for shoppers to purchase goods with maza.
That would then spread the financial burden of adopting maza to the community, instead of a sole owner/operator of a store or a wholesaler/supplier of goods to the store, who would never adopt maza due to the obvious financial risk.
So the task would be for payu to convince locals to back a business venture (say store or credit union) that accepted maza within the reservation.

As I see it all comes down to whether the coin's economy should've been built-up from the ground within just the reservation and once it was ready then publicise it to the outside world for investors.
OR the way it was actually done, by trying to get investors to boost the price through speculation to encourage the reservation to adopt maza because of its high value. Except that hasn't worked out as we can see due to oversupply of the coin that undervalued it.

Unfortunately it looks like the horse has already bolted, unless there's a hardfork to lower the reward eventually.

UK is not Ireland
I was being sarcastic - loyalists and U.K. do not consider the North part of Ireland.

Long-time lurker on this thread, first-time poster; following brought me out of hiding...

Although, I've been musing about the idea of a PMC fork into a new coin; PMC would run alongside it, but this new coin would work like so;

That sounds like the best idea i've read on the altcoin forum in ages and sounds like a very effective way to achieve a more equal distribution.

if they can get a mining community going and earn from and make Maza work for them
I can't understand why this wasn't in place on coin launch...
If MZC is supposed to be for the reservations benefit why didn't they wait till they had done the mining classes and handed out the hardware first, so their community could be ready to become the whales while the mining difficulty was low??
As it stands now people outside the reservation are the whales/main benefactors, all the community has is the 25m premine.
Massive case of poor planning imo, suspicious even.

And what about the millions of Irish citizens living elsewhere?
Good point - a large section of western populations have Irish ancestry.
1 in 5 white Americans, 10% of U.K. and Australia, 14% of Canada. Not to mention rest of the world - the Irish diaspora is huge.
All of them can claim citizenship by Irish descent... you're gonna need a bigger premine Grin

Who launches an Irish coin at 10pm on a Friday night? The Irish are too busy drinking.
Another good point!

still a large number of people that see Ireland as one nation including the North.

3 pages and still the obvious hasn't been addressed...
How are you going to fairly and securely distribute this among Irish?
How do you think fellow Irish would feel about Northern Ireland being included into a 'gaelcoin'?

This coin seems designed to keep people online and hashing...
Whether starting out or hodling what you've already earned/bought - it's in the interest of both groups to stay online and be involved in the voting process, either to vote for lesser or greater block rewards.
Kinda like TimeKoin but with an IPO to set a starting price.

That bank doesn't sound very altruistic or community focussed - it quotes Ayn Rand on it's webpage...
But to be fair it's an American bank, lots of Rand acolytes and libertarian-types over there.

Well I just had a really good talk with AnonymousPirate in the IRC channel for about 45 minutes. Was anyone there? He gave a lot of information about the plans for the coin. It was really cool to talk to him!
Care to post any of it here? Would be interesting to see.

For anyone interested in the history of the people behind the coin instead of market speculation...

The Oglala Lakota people live on the Pine Ridge reservation and have a long history of political activism and resistance.
The American Indian Movement was active there and involved in the Wounded Knee incident - an armed siege against the FBI in the 70's, which could explain the Fed's quick interest in the coin.
You can watch a documentary on it at youtube called "Incident at Oglala".
There was also a Val Kilmer movie called "Thunderheart" based on a fictionalised version of the events.

I don't think there will be a big immediate response when/if MZC hits the major news networks - how many typical ppl would manage to find mintpal/cryptorush and buy up, assuming they even have BTC to begin with.
Probably most of the people who know how to buy it in the BTC community already have days ago.
Slow and steady wins the race Smiley
