I believe we will need more information.  Did you purchase Tokens through an ICO? If you so you would have to consult with the people in charge of the ICO and read up on guidelines for the ICO.

why would a valid ID be considered fraudulent
by
legend018
on 18/01/2018, 17:57:10 UTC
I notice that pretty much every Exchange I belong to doesn't accept my ID for one reason or another. Usually the reasons are vague and hard to tell if it's even related to my ID.
However, I just got a notice from LocalBitCoins stating it wasn't accepted because of reason: ID has been rejected as fraudulent.

I know it looks easy, but I really don't know what that means. It is truly a valid License of mine and is a drivers license. It's the only real ID I have.  I wonder what actually makes it fit this fraudulent description.  Confusing!

Re: needing some feedback on understanding localbitcoins USD per BTC

Even the coinmarketcap showing 11200 vs. the bank transfer on localbitcoins showing 12377 is over a 1,000 difference.
Well for the paypal:  It sounds so convenient and easy to just do a transaction that way. Less work, but I guess I should think more carefully about the price and risk factors involved and decide on another method. I so wish paypal was less risky and less expensive. : )

needing some feedback on understanding localbitcoins USD per BTC

Are these differences so that people can make a profit and incorporate fees that are involved?
Examples from localbitcoins

12377 price/btc on localbitcoins if going through say a bank transfer
16562 price/btc on localbitcoins if going through say paypal
11200 price/btc on coinmarketcap

I know paypal transactions are known to have high fees, but why?  and why such a huge jump like that? That is thousands of dollars in difference.

Did you ever view it on the blockchain when you first got it?  I would double check that you have the correct key and that your entering it in properly.

You can import your secret key into a wallet that supports it if you want to go down that route.
other then that, you'll have to test sending something to it and the use one of the blockchain sites to review the transaction online if you keep it on the paper wallet.
I suppose you could also try to find someone to send you like a $1.00 worth of Ripple to your address for your paper wallet.

The key here is it is in relation to trading or just learning about it?  The answers will differ depending on what the answer is.

You might want to do some more research on how BitCoin got started and what it is all about.

The first thing I thought of was the clipboard virus I head about. but, if you have MAC I think you could be safe with that.
Maybe look into if it's normal to generate new addresses.  That does make it confusing when your waiting for a transaction to go through. I think it will work out on the end for you. Probably on there side.

I don't have a computer good enough to mine but I was so curious, I played with zcash just for a few days and got it working. but like I said I have no resources to really make any money and stopped. This was geared toward mining zcash but has some beginner descriptions about the process. I hope it helps

Just make sure when playing around with sending from exchange to exchange that you use the proper addresses relating to the coin your trading.  People get screwed all the time when they send say BTC to an address that isn't a BTC related address.

Maybe the server the atm is connected to is having a problem. Do you have another method of trying to send? You don't have much control over things if your using an ATM especially with errors.
