I think the time has come to expand the market and observe the green market. A very protracted bloody days, violas dipped to the lowest values. Bitcoin reached their minimum price and I think now everything will go back to grow. The time to buy altcoins at very good prices.

For me Dogecoin is the most stable. Even during major market corrections Dogecoin is still being very stable. I am holding up some dogecoins for the reason of savings. I can also see Ripple as a stable coin, it has ups and downs but not too drastic so there you can choose between the 2 coins.

I must mention that not every ERC20 token is a scam, there's alot of great projects with great goals and they are already doing well in terms of volume and trust!I remember that eBTC, i earned some fiat trading it and got the airdrop too, but, i really don't trust this type of tokens.

I think you should find a large market, such as i.e. binance or bittrex. If it's not a big market for these listings, you can search for information in the market where the altcoin listings at coinmarketcap. After learning of his market. then you can do trading in the market.

You are right in that scammers know all of this and are obviously trying to make their scam look legit. I also use quality and originality of the idea, what the website looks like and whether the team members are active in the cryptocommunity.

The altcoins that will survive in the future are the ones that are used in several and specific ways. Not to be biased but CVProof or INK coin is one of the coins that will survive, it could also be one of the big ones in the future since the functionality of this coin and the campaign as well is really different than the others.

Haven't heard of that but If that was true those guys are the one who lose their investment and lose faith in cryptocurrency due to crash.
