Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !!
by
lestilla
on 07/01/2018, 08:40:35 UTC

Bitcoin is climbing back again after the big December dip and it seems that people who almost got nervous breakdown when they read that Bitcoin was crashing are now smiling happily again. As just another traditional move for Bitcoin, we have been to a great rollercoaster ride for the holidays.

I am sure this is one of the many ways that Bitcoin is telling us that it is very resilient despite of all the problems it has been carrying on for a long time -- the clogs and the high transaction cost -- and that we should be looking for a better and much prosperous 2018.

Are you happy that Bitcoin seems to be back on the game -- again?

I believe the joy of every bitcoiners is the high price of bitcoin. This is because it's the only way you can make profit with trading. The price of bitcoin stands at $16700 as of today and I'm speculating that the price will reach $20000 by the end of January.

Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin?
by

on 28/12/2017, 08:22:40 UTC
How many idiots who decided to invest in bitcoin!!!!!!!

It is necessary not to watch as he grows from 15000 to 17000. This is a visual illusion.
And as it grows from 1.5 to 1.7.....

In recent days printed 180 million tether and still no big growth....
Lending on the stock exchange came to a billion dollars.
The credit rate on the day was a record and more than the 0.103%.

This means that the market has reached its peak. The price of cryptocurrency maximum.
This is the moment when you have to sell everything.

So began a process of growth needs the infusion of more money.... They're gone.

I think the joy of endless growth to an end this weekend.

Nothing in this world is eternal and permanent.....
And rising prices of bitcoin are not eternal.... all ends already.....

I do not agree with in any way. I think you are being pessimistic about bitcoin in order to advertise another coin.
And I also think you are saying this because you are not aware the potentials of bitcoin to grow and survive a downfall.  Downfalls like this have happened in the previous years and bitcoin survived them all.
I strongly believe that before the middle of January, the price of bitcoin will be over $20000

Re: Bitcoin fees make me angry

I do not know the reason for this but I also experienced it last week. I paid about 5% fee on a single transaction.
I think I can only send a large amount of bitcoin now in which the transaction fee will not be really significant. Maybe the best thing is to resort to using bitcoin cash for lower amount.

What are the strategies to earn bitcoin faster? Im a newbie and I need your help.

There are so many ways to earn bitcoins but I believe the best and fastest way to earn is to participate in signature campaigns.

Signature campaign is about posting a certain number of constructive post per week and you get paid on a weekly basis. Most campaigns accept members ranking from Jr member up-to legendary. You are still a newbie so you still have a long way to go.

Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin?
by

on 18/12/2017, 14:40:04 UTC
I didn't spend anything yet i just save it in order to buy expensive things. I am also planning to invest in altcoins so thats why i also save it. Everyone wants to get rich from bitcoins.

But if you spend your profit in a day you will not come far.

I spend my money on bitcoins on daily needs such as food and clothes.  I actually bought a new phone last week from selling my bitcoin I earned by participating in signature campaigns.

Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear?
by

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

There are no chances of that happening.  It is not possible for cryptocurrencies to replace fiat money.  The level of illiteracy especially in developing countries is a big obstacle for cryptocurrencies to replace fiat.
Another major reason is lack of internet services in most places in the world. We are not oblivious of the fact that to deal with cryptocurrencies, we need internet services. In places where this is not provided,  it is impossible for cryptocurrencies to replace fiat.

Re: Bitcoin vs Ether investment
by
lestilla
on 18/12/2017, 00:19:28 UTC
I am new to the bitcointalk and the blockchain in general, but I have been reading up and think it is the future.  I have missed the boat on getting in at the basement, but wanted to invest some money LONG term in some crypto.  From what I understand Bitcoin is having some trouble keeping up with transactions.  Would Ether or Bitcoin be a better long term investment (10 years), or will something new come along and replace these coins?

If you are actually investing  a long term investment, I'd advise you to go for bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is rising day by day and holding bitcoin for about will yield nothing but massive interest.  Although,  the future of ether is bright, it is not as bright as that if bitcoin.
Truly, new coins may come along the years,  but I can assure you they will never replace bitcoin. Bitcoin has being the biggest cryptocurrency for so long and will surely retain that position a long because of its ever increasing market cap.

Re: Is it worth getting paid in Bitcoin for freelance work?

I’m a web developer/designer and wondered if it’s worth getting paid in bitcoin? I’m from the UK and not sure how it would work in terms of the end of year tax return.

Yeah, it is worth it. Getting paid in bitcoin for your services is the best way you can get paid. As the price of bitcoin is ever increasing,  you will make more profit as from the time you get paid in bitcoin to the time you get to sell your bitcoin.

I have 1500USD right now...i am thinking to buy the bitcoin now whatever i can get with them

Should i buy now or not as bitcoin is reached its all time high and in to the moon...please advice me

I'd advise you to buy. The price of bitcoin is increasing incredibly day by day. If you buy now,  in about 6 months time the price of bitcoin would have gone so high that you will be amazed at the massive interest you will be getting.

Re: About Happiness
by
lestilla
on 08/12/2017, 17:33:44 UTC
I have watched a movie where his message sticks in my mind and that is my motto in my life. "Happiness is real when shared". That is his message to the world or to anyone that will look up in his life. That is a great message coming from him. And that movie is Into the Wild. Who watched that movie? It is the story of Christopher McCandless life that he chooses to live in his own and changed his name to Alexander Supertramp. I believe that his message is for the world and people. People must spread happiness to make good things happen. I don't know if this is an off-topic thread but I know, if anyone can read his message and apply it, the world can change.

I certainly do agree with you.  Happiness is meant to be shared amongst people.  When I do something that makes someone happy,  I feel an inner joy, satisfaction and fulfillment.

Re: Does ages really matter in relationships?
by
lestilla
on 07/12/2017, 11:08:33 UTC
Yes,  age does matter in a relationship. Most men tend to date or marry women who are younger than them so as to be able to exercise some sort of authority. Most women date or marry men who are older than them because they believe such men will be able to protect and provide for their needs.

Re: Why Do People Desire What's Not Theirs
by

on 05/12/2017, 23:00:13 UTC
I don't mean just seeing something nice and wanting to have something like that. Some people would not mind doing anything to take what belongs to another. Why do we have people like that?
I believe it's actually because of greed, there are some who want what others have, not because they don't have it but because they are greedy and want more of it.
It may also be causef by jealousy, low self-esteem and not being contented with what one have.

I do not believe that all Muslims are terrorists.  Though,  we have terrorists who kill in the name of Allah  but then there are many more Muslims who are for peace and do not believe in the killing of innocent people.  Besides,  it is often said that Islam is a religion of peace.

Re: Money can buy happiness?
by
lestilla
on 04/12/2017, 02:14:41 UTC
I strongly believe that money cannot buy happiness.  Happiness is an abstract thing which cannot be seen or touched but can only be felt.  If happiness is abstract, how then can money buy it.
Most times, we believe happiness is all about the acquisition of material things,  money and position in the society but then there are a lot of rich people who are actually sad but pretend to be happy when in public.

not at all. Happiness does not depend on money. It is more like a psychological thing which is more connected to the human minds. Don't you think so?

I totally do agree with you on this.  Since happiness is not a material thing,  it can't be bought.  Happiness is abstract and
can only be felt.
Most people believe money is all there is to happiness,  this is not true as I have seen so many rich men who just smile in the public but are actually sad probably due to sickness or the death of a loved one
