Guest Spot: Who or What Can Put an End to Bitcoin?
Over the past few years, Bitcoin has experienced a huge number of attacks and external criticism, getting a reputation of Antifragile. This term was coined by Nassim Nicholas Taleb and describes the phenomenon when something becomes popular under unfavorable conditions.

“Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Yet, in spite of the ubiquity of the phenomenon, there is no word for the exact opposite of fragile. Let us call it antifragile.”- says Taleb.

From this point of view, probably, in order to kill Bitcoin, you just have to stop criticizing it. However, in the world of constantly competing currencies and precious metals, this is very unlikely to happen.

Attacks on Bitcoin: Past, Present, and Future

Several months ago, the user of the Reddit network, under the nickname themetalfriend, compiled a list of all attacks that can be aimed at killing Bitcoin. In his opinion: there are three most common types of attacks on Bitcoin:

Attacks to slowdown the Bitcoin development
Attacks to slowdown the Bitcoin adoption
Attacks to reduce the efficiency of the Bitcoin infrastructure
From all the above it follows that all three types of attacks are interrelated. At the very least, they lead to the same result. Let’s consider each of them in more detail.

Anything that does not help nor has value to human being has a sure end of existence. But right now it is the contrary, bitcoin each year proves how essential it is to the new age of technology and it is sync into end so right now is not the right topic but we should talk about a Birth of a new powerful and essential flatform for the people all over the world.

Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...

I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again...
Will it?
Yes it is always how this market goes. We can profit and become millionaire in a blink of an eye if we happened to size a  moment of which the price sky rockets in a very few moments and then fall back again.

Re: What I think it will happen to BTC next months

BTC is controlled by whales and the richest families such as Rockefeller, Rothschild, Soros... They own the companies and institutions related to BTC.  ETF will be posponed on September 30th, then price will have a massive fall. Those organizations will take advantage and buy all BTC they can in numerous wallets. On February,  ETFs will get approved and BTC price will rise a lot even to 100,000. Since people will invest on BTC, trillions and trillions of dollars will enter to cryptos. However, BTC will be even more controlled by the richest families (the real whales) since they have bought a vast majority of BTC when it was low, owning the 60-80% of it in private wallets and making people invest through ETFs.
For me personally the price will has a positive price increase for we are entering the last quater of the early and basing from the status usually the price sky rockets starting the end of the years so better watch out the price movements care fully!

Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency?
by

Hello All, I have a question.
If I want to use bitcoin as practical or daily currency then what should I do?
Is American express or VISA offer such kind of opportunity so far?
I am very excited to read something special here: https://reliable.cash/t/can-you-use-bitcoin-as-a-practical-currency/33
Specially these are amazing to me:

Quote
There are many reasons for bitcoin to be not used as a practical currency. Some are listed here.

  • Some users lack the infrastructure required to use bitcoin
Some users lack the knowledge required to use bitcoin
It will not be a good solution for day to day purchase
It takes time to process a transaction that is why it is not practical at all
Not many stores accept bitcoin as a payment either online or offline
    Stability in pricing
Strong network infrastructure required for its payment to process

Now I want to purchase my Pizza using Bitcoin Cheesy
What do you think brothers?
Bitcoin is a practical and timely currency the only reason it is not is because it not fully understood by many people over the world. If given the proper support for the dessimimation of proper information probably it can even take over fiat currency.

Keep calm and stop to see this as an exchange... We all realise that Satoshi made a wonderful economic system that's changing the world right now. More than 75% of bitcoiners is taking this like a bubble, where you should buy and go off when you earn the enough or till you "grow rich". Let´s realise the real insight of Satoshi was to make payment system method clearing the need to trust in a thirdparty and to clear the double spent in transactions. Let´s start to use the Bitcoin as it should do be taken and realise that another incredible advance is the Blockchain technology.

I am seeing many people getting worry because of Bitcoin is going down its price, this kind of people should read the Bitcoins whitepaper, and to stop to treat bitcoin as another fiat currency. This is just a thought about all I am watching in this forum and in others social sites where people is just taking this as another exchange to make trading and they are´nt watching what we have in hands. The chance to change the world literally and the opportunity to make worth the economy worldwide...

 Smiley Smiley Smiley
The word Just is just so under rated. With the great impact of bitcoin it has done to the economy all over the world it is a shame to say The word "just".

:)Countries are divided into 3 groups: those who ban bitcoin, those who will regulate it strongly and those who will give complete freedom to development. The second and the third groups us well be satisfied with. This majority. It's enough to survive. Therefore, it is not necessary to look for negative outside of us. ; Smiley Smiley

I only hope for the best in the future!  yes nothing but only the best!  so far the effect of bitcoin in my life is strong proof that it will continue to grow no matter what.

Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold?
by
liamnorthcoins
on 06/09/2018, 04:48:41 UTC
I believe that bitcoin is underestimated, I do not claim that it should only grow! But I'm sure that the future is for him! crypto currency in general, and bitcoin in particular - this is digital gold, many people still do not understand this. I'm sure that in ten years it will be so.

I believe the same, the cryptocurrency is the next big thing and bitcoin is in the center of it. The conventional gold is vital but the "in" thing in the virtual world now is more dominated by the cryptocurrency more specifically the bitcoin. So yes bitcoin has a very big chance of surpassing gold in time.

Re: The cost of bitcoin grows
by

The market capitalization of the crypto currency, which reflects the aggregate value of all bitcoins in circulation, was $ 105 billion.

Earlier, at least 2018 was recorded on February 6, when the value of the digital currency dropped to $ 6048. The last time the bitcoin rate fell below $ 6000 last year - October 29, when its value reached $ 5724.
Yes it does. Because bitcoin has limit to mine. So the price will increase because the value also increases. This is one reason also why bitcoin will continue to live on contrary to many negative people are saying that it will die.

This is what I love about BTC. With the previous bloodshed, BTC is trying to exhibit a very promising uptrend despite the FUD and hacking incidents that happened. Hope this recovery will last until next year's bitcoin halving and continue to perform well in the coming years.
Even with all the unfavorable price decrease in the market right now for bitcoin people must learn to appreciate it instead of attacking it with negative comments just because it did not reach their expectation., The resistance that it has showed to back down is really strong and very commendable.  It has proven its worth many many times and people if they could not appreciate it they should just shut their mouth up if they dont have something good to say about it.

I think bitcoin dip going until 5300$ range Which is strong support. But Sometime it will dip beyond the previous high But It will happen because of FUDS or bad news.
What is your opinion guys, Where it will stop
For those who truly understand the nature of cryptocurrency bad news will not affect them but for those who dont it certainly will hit them and back down.

The resistance it showed over time for the past 9 years is enough for me to believe in its capacity to become the next currency.

Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin?
by
liamnorthcoins
on 15/07/2018, 15:38:36 UTC
I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme.

Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?}

The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles.

Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it.

How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about?

I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they

are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH,

and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this.

I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Roll Eyes
They will realize in time and my advice is dont let it affect you nothing is more important but to keep going on especially if you understand the road map of this platform.

Re: BITCOIN won't die, period.
by
liamnorthcoins

As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.
Sure thing. it will only die if the internet will also die and the advent of the entire technology is wipe out in the face of the planet.

i was thinking about the Bitcoin and it's Future in Banking . can it remplace money in transactions ?
It might be, because the future of bitcoin is limitless especially that it is inlined with our technology and even if right now the it is a close competitor for the banks there is a big chance that they will align with what is vital for the human developments.

Re: What's needed for Bitcoin to recover?
by
liamnorthcoins
on 14/07/2018, 13:48:19 UTC
The key word is TRUST.
In order for Bitcoin to recover, we need to have faith and trust in the BTC itself and then we, as a community, need to make certain measures to make the ICOs real, non-fake and friendly to the community.
There are a lot of ICOs that are, well, not in a real need for an ICO and lot of projects that really don't need to use blockchain technology but are using it because it is a trending technology.
Also, as a community, we need to provide full faith, trust and willingness in the crpyto system in-general.
It's been a long time ago since BTC was the only relevant one.
Now we have tons of crpyto-currencies and they also matter, not all of them, but there are some that can make an impact on the market. Ethereum, Zcash, BTC, Bitcoin Cash, XRP and the list goes on...
We should try to pressure the governments to accept blockchain as  a technology and then to accept crypto.
We MUST understand that those two go hand-in-hand.

Your right. If people panic and sell out everytime they hear the price is going down then that is not helping for bitcoin to get strong.  It will soar if we hold and put our trust that this flatform is here to stay for good.

Re: Do you actually use Bitcoin?
by
liamnorthcoins
on 10/07/2018, 15:58:30 UTC
As far as I am more and more in it, I can do some conclusions.

1) People are mostly not using the Bitcoin (altcoins as well);
2) Crypto-enthusiasts are real enthusiasts only when the price goes up;
3) Even considering there are more crypto-companies appear which offer their services, and more people join our community - the level of crypto education and adoption is still very low;

Almost 95% of all people in crypto I know personally are holding or trading, but not using it to its functionality. I cannot judge anyone for this, but let's be honest - it won't bring you any money if you just will buy it and wait.

So, there is a question: "How much of you use Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to its full capacity?" I am curious about this because as for now it looks like there is only a small group of people making some contributions.
Yes I always do now most of the time i converted in to my coins. ph and the convertion i pay to my bills payments such as electric, communication and so many others

stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Yes, knowledge is power, certainly fools is powerless and so they become poor in mind, in deed and financially burden unless they will break free and take action to loosen themselves from these state.

Safety can not come to the bitcoin investor. Nothing and absolutely safe. Everything has its own risk, its danger. No one knows what tomorrow will be like. Only know that if we do nothing then there is no danger nor money
riskrisk

Your right, in every investment there is a certain risk that needs to be face and here in cryptocurrency it is very crucial for an investors to be a true risk taker because if he is not then this business is not for him.
