Peter Schiff is a bull bitcoiners and I caught his idea to support bitcoin and gold, silver. Gold and silver are safe haven for wars, conflicts, hyper inflation and Schiff is right.

Kiyosaki stated about his investment perspective on Bitcoin, Gold and Silver. He is bullish on three assets.

Bitcoin is better than gold. You can call it as digital gold or anything but at the end it is bitcoin and I think it is enough to call it as bitcoin. Why do we have to compare bitcoin with gold and try to use a fake name digital gold for bitcoin?

Guys like @nullius is just exception, and there are limited guys like @nullius, one of the shooting stars in the forum. There are so many ways to contribute and receive merits: from technical discussions/ help, data analytics, infographics, guides, scam accusations; or simple on-topic, and helpful posts that satisfy needs of thread's starters. Being naturally constructive, helpful and patient, merits will come later.

Sure, you can rank up from scratch to Hero or Legendary member. There is a topic that observes and lists ranked up users.

The list does  not point out which users are purely self-made users, which users are half-self-made users, but there are so many self-made Members, Full Members, and Senior Members. They all will become self-made Hero or Legendary in months and years to come if they will stay on their tracks.
Therefore, I believe that long list of ranked up users will stimulate you to start from scratch.

Agreed. Reputable campaign managers eliminate shitposters at starts, and during their participations, they will be eliminated if they don't meet minium post quality ask by campaign managers.

If such thing will be applied, we don't need to stake Bitcoin address, because people mostly self-disclose their identities on Facebook. They don't care about their identities can be used (abused) to steal their funds and lots of others shady things. In other words, Facebook need as many new (real) users as possible, the forum does not. What the forum need is as many quality users as possible, we don't need to see new (real) shitposters.

Yes, mainly to avoid phishing sites. Because there are so many image storage/ upload providers, that we are not able to know them all. It's better if we can see images without clicking on links and visit those sites. My trick works fine if images attached in posts published recently, we can easily visit post history and find that post. However, it will costs a little more time if we have to find posts made months ago, just to view images.

Excellent idea! It is just a beginning of amazing upcoming things (userscripts/ addons). It is too soon to think of groups (categories) of userscripts or add-ons, but I believe when suggestion from community become larger, OP should sort them out into groups (categories). To clarify, some sort of groups (categories) like:
- Forum UI
- Archive tool
- Signature screening tool
- Flag screening tool
- etc.

I believe No! Because the Whitepaper of Libra presents that fact that the coin will destroy core idea of crypto currencies, and it is too far away from decentralization. We don't need centralized crypto currencies. Someone can launch such coins, like Libra, and those coins might survive, grow well, and accepted, but to replace bitcoin, and other powerful, widely accepted decentralized crypto currencies. I would say No! Crypto Newbies will easily accept Libra, but they will sooner or later realize their mistakes by using a centralized coin. Facebook, itself is a centralized social media platform. Together, using Facebook and Libra put users under high risks of ID leaks.

Will Libra be able to replace Bitcoin? I believe it won't. So, I don't think we should ask the question in OP, because both Facebook and its coins, Libra are worse than bitcointalk.org, and Bitcoin, respectively. Facebook platform also does not have good systems to control their quality of their community posts. Actually, they have reports but such things are not enough for huge platform like Facebook. Reporters should have rewards from their good reports.

Thank you for the trick, that is helpful. However, to be honest with you, I am not a fan of add-ons, becasue I am a very simple guy, and would like to use available official features, rather than install additional features, such as add-ons. If the forum already has a trick to view images from newbies, without requirement to click on links to see images, I think we should use it.

I totally agreed with the @bones261's suggestion. Such list of support / oppose flags for users from profile pages will help them more easily to follow all accounts they support or oppose flag accusations. Such list is also help them to more conveniently go through and review their supports or oppositions in the past, for future adjustments if flagged projects turn to better or worse. Without the official list (from the forum), users can use LoyceVclub's flag list, but it is less convenient, because at least users have to sort out and find their names in the list, before being able to review and adjust their flags/ supports/ oppositions.

Why bitcointalk.org, which has strong position in crypto, has to follow Facebook, that is a newbie in crypto? My opinion is: NO. Not only because its UI (Useless Information, mentioned by @JetCash), but also its nearly useless Facebookcoin, namely Libra. There are a Libra's WhitePaper, and theymos' first opinion on Libra after seeing its site and whitepaper.

Among those ones suggested in the OP, I only agreed with Guide tag. Because we already have specific places for the rest (as @Welsh wrote): from Discussion (Bitcoin/ altcoin); Announcement (ANN), to beginner & help (question and help mostly relate each other, so I think they should be apperaed in one board/ subboard, in B& H or whatever board). Question should be emphasized with Question mark (?), like what @theymos wrote to help forum users made better topic tittles.

In conclusion, I don't think we need such tags.

If it is, the next step might be disabling signature campaigns which pay their participants in altcoins or tokens (not Bitcoin). After all, the last step might be disabling all signature campaign, but I guess we might not see such action in coming months. I saw post quality changed positively, and forum users tend to be more constructive. For spammers, they already get perma-bans or nukes, and will be get such punishments more.
I am still waiting for activation of reporter badges, that are another motivation to eliminate bad posters.

When theymos launched merit system in early of 2018, he wrote that if spamming does not decrease and such annoyance from spam permissive signature won't be controlled or at least, reduced; he would consider to disable all signature campaigns paid in altcoins or tokens; or even more seriously disable all signature and related industry. Fortunately, merit system works, and recently a plagiabot works, so we might still see signature campaigns. Generally, participants will have to make better quality posts, it does not equal to high quality posts. But, at least they stop or reduce copy & paste; then reduce pace of spamming.
