Re: The Declining of Bitcoin Price has also a Decline in Consumers Interest?
by

Yea I think there are a lot of pissed off people that invested in Dec. (because they were blindly following the herd) it really kinda upsets me to see people act like that to me it seems kinda childish (oo i'm not received 1000% gains like everyone else did bitcoin is stupid bitcoin is dead yada yada).

But I think long term those people will be eating their words and wishing they would of invested now instead of complaining I think BTC won't get much lower than it is right now and it is still a pretty good buying price in the 6k-7k range. just my opinion Smiley

I think both are flawed systems and both ruin society and peoples lives in different ways. I am a purport-er of alternative ways to run society there was an interesting project called the venus project if anyone wants to check it out.

But socialism vs capitalism is really a pointless argument they're both crap!

Yea I think timelocking your coins would be great that was my first impression when I read the name of the wallet that it would help you hodl your coins in some way shape or form that's cool you guys will be implementing that Smiley

Although my only concern is what if you really need to sell them like if we see a price boom like 2017 and it would be vital to unlock the wallet?

Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace?

honestly it kind of saddens me the state of the crypto market in some ways (like what the OP is talking about) in other ways I am very happy with it (high hopes on the horizon) but yea I think getting into crypto solely for the reason to speculate and make profit is not a good thing at all and in the long run will hurt the economy we do need speculation and such but at the levels it is at right now I think is not healthy at all just people hyping and pumping coins and trying to manipulate people into buying or selling for their own benefit not my idea a very good or healthy economy!

Nowadays all countries only pay attention to the academic, they never pay attention to the moral education anymore, now more people are very rude and don't respect elders anymore, and we come to one point where people hackers are cool, people are proud to be hacker, don't they realize that hacker are actually stealing from other people?

Nowadays scammers are everywhere, and they proud to be a scammer and called their victim an idiot who falls into their trap, they got no shame anymore to do bad things, I think all of this happen due to the lack of moral education

Moral education supposed to be taught at school and the parents also need to responsible to teach their children, moral education can make the world become better place to live

I completely agree I think education should focus a lot more on morals as well as other USEFUL skills in society (not just learning algebra and what not things well never use in the real world) but I think morals are almost more imporant than 90% of the other subjects taught in school. But I don't think it should be religious at all people often confuse religion and morals....

Re: Why did people get involved in bitconnect?
by
locsta123
on 07/09/2018, 07:34:50 UTC
IMHO I think bitconnect falling and BTC falling around the same time are related there was so much money being thrown into bitconnect via btc and after all these people lost a bunch of their money the entire crypto market started falling but that is just my opinion what do i really know :O

BUt other than that bitconnect was bought because of potential profit, hek I knew 100% it was a scam but figured other people that knew it was a scam though "ehhh I can get in and get out" and some did some were smart/lucky enough to get out at the perfect time Smiley Others not so lucky and then we see btc drop to almost the price it is now in a very short time period....

Re: How do I find the Next Big thing like Bitcoin?
by
locsta123
on 04/09/2018, 04:20:52 UTC
The next big thing won't be forseen except by a select few, just like btc. But you can always keep an eye out for something interesting stop trying to find the next "big" thing and just look for what interests you and you will be on the right path don't think so much about money but think more about just enjoying your life and you will be ahead of the game (just my philosophy anyway)

Re: Main reason behind crypto currencies red market in 2018
by
locsta123
on 30/08/2018, 11:53:19 UTC
Well I believe there to be many factors but I think the MAIN reason was it went up really high really fast it had to come down I knew it was gonna crash just didn't know when everytime it crashed before that I panicked and sold then bought bak in bc it kept going up then when it finally crashed for real I kept calm and was waiting for it to raise SMH lol. Also I went in thinking it was a long term investment not thinking I would see those gains in that short of a timeframe....

But I do think we will see green again in the future maybe an 9-18 month bear market (were 6 month right now). Just my opinion Smiley

Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Coin Sale Complete | Multicurrencies | Gaming + eSports
by

on 29/08/2018, 07:46:23 UTC
Girlfriend of a wife of one of the main IT guys in Vegas confirming that one of the big ones has tasked its whole IT department to integrate BRX (Breakout Stake) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/breakout-stake / BRK (Breakout Coin) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/breakout in its casino.

Implementation guide is to give big amounts of BRX to a leaving/entering client with simple instructions brochure for a home computer/laptop, as incentive to stake BRX for BRK and exchange staked BRK directly at casino for chips/credit anytime (exiting clients who won anything that day get fixed amount of BRX, those who lost get 3x of that, with everyone having the ability to purchase any additional volume.

After that, the next stage is modified machines with QR code and displayed BRK address for direct deposit.

If anything changes, more details in a week, way too much for a girl to remember. Definitely exciting times ahead.

All allegedly. IT guy asked his wife for opinion and advice, since this is way more about real people than tech.

Oh really? Wow you must be telling the truth because you come here as a newbie with 1 activity I think Im gonna dump 20k into brx coin solely on your word...... cmon

Re: BMW now accepts Bitcoin as a payment!
by

I honestly don't know why more business's just dont start accepting btc like bmw I mean really what is the risk they are taking? My friends dad runs his own business and he tried getting his dad to accept btc but he was just thick headed about it and wouldn't do it. I don't understand the thinking of a lot of "typical" people.

But this is great now that bmw accpets we need every major car manufacturer to accept right now you can only buy high end cars like bmw or lambo we need the average car to start accepting Smiley

Re: Are you one of those who think that BITCOIN will not rise this year?
by
locsta123
on 23/08/2018, 00:54:25 UTC
I personally think once btc hits 20k again soooooo much money will flow into crypto at that very moment it will be like a rocket ship we just need to see that number again and once we do the sentiment will turn around 1000% And it WILL hit 20k again. When will it go that high well that's a tough question that nobody can really predict, crypto market moves at a much faster pace than the traditional stock market what takes 10 years there takes 1 or 2 years here. I personally think we will see exponetial growth in the next 1-4 years if I had to put a number on my assumption Smiley

Re: Be calm when the market falls
by
locsta123
on 21/08/2018, 17:30:03 UTC
This is one thing I love about crypto it teaches you that patience and remaining calm are virtues in this space and when you can apply that to your life in general you will always be in a better position no matter the situation. So yes be calm remain patient and you will always have things work out in your favor when you start panicking is when you make mistakes and make things worse for yourself. Make decisions from a calm/peaceful state of mind and you will always make the right decision Cheesy at least that is my philosophy.

Re: What happens when the price of Bitcoin falls below the cost of mining?
by
locsta123
on 14/08/2018, 07:46:23 UTC
I think people will still keep on mining. Since the beginning it had always at some point cost more money to mine btc. Smart people mine even if it is for a loss, because they know at some point their investment will pay off and it will be 4 or 100x's more than what it costs now Smiley

But honestly with all the attention crypto has garnered in the last year and a half btc falling that low would cause a lot of panic in todays market I'm not quite sure exactly what will happen. But I do know that mining won't stop completely but maybe a lot of people will drop out of the pools.... maybe

Re: BiteBTC is a scam exchange

on 10/08/2018, 01:39:12 UTC
be careful guys, you didn’t find the real scam yet.

They are collecting funds from many coins as listing fees and holding the fake  kyc.
After some time they will release all the accounts and approve all the kyc.

A huge amount of BTC ETH etc will come in. Than they will runaway and shutdown the website.

Its a very well elaborate exit scam.

LOL wow that would be totally F'd up but actually pretty ingenious as well if that is the truth, but yea I have to agree after researching a bit it does seem like this could be an ellaborate scam. Sad

Hmm I've first heard of this exchange because of the airdrop I participated in (privcy) but I didn't join bc you have to do KYC and didn't really want to do that with an exchange I never heard of. But I'm pretty sure Privcy team didn't have a hard time getting on the exchange and wasn't scammed but I will bring this thread to their attention.
