A little concerned that BC is #2 and Megadice #3 on the list. Both KYCed me extremely early when I had won, and so they're definitely not KYC friendly.

I've never heard of a betting shop allowing people to essentially gamble on the house, but maybe it's common practice. The guy was probably a regular and im sure with his next pay check will be back, settle the debts, and probably lose more. It's really very sad when someone has an addiction.

I'd be interested to work with you. I've attended many live events and court sided myself, and have access to live streams for betting purposes that are indeed quicker than the bookmakers I am using.

What sort of events are you attending? As for me, watching low league football for 90 minutes doesn't feel like the best use of my time for a little bit of EV Cheesy

Update: My account was finally unblocked and I was allowed to withdraw and continue playing, after providing the required documents and following the steps asked by the customer support. Thanks for the help members of bitcointalk, and shoutout to Razer for helping resolve this issue.

I've just been scammed for $4k by rollbit - please read this scam accusation thread. Clearly you'll be fine if you are losing, but once you win - this can happen. Be aware.

Rollbit scammed me for $4k
by
lothian
on 18/01/2024, 12:46:22 UTC
What happened::
I've been using rollbit for quite some time and never had an issue. Deposited a lot no problems. However everytime I withdrew I had to contact live support and they'd "check" my withdrawals (a bit weird!). Still, no issues!

I've been a customer for, I'd say, around 6 months (maybe Rollbit can confirm - might be slightly less).

Fast forward to 2 days ago (16th Jan) and I made a withdrawal for 0.5 eth - nothing too crazy considering I've always deposited and withdrawn anything from 0.3 eth up to 1 eth. I then received a message asking me to KYC levels 1 and 2. I duly obliged however my passport was immediately declined - this was automatic and there was no manual input - as soon as i uploaded it there was an error. I was told to contact support again.

Support asked me to complete level 3. I tried to, however there was no option to move on to level 3 as it kept auto-declining my level 2 verification.

Support then asked me where I am based, to which I replied Norway. However, I tried to log in today and my account is locked. I've had no email or contact from Rollbit, so I decided to email them. This was their response.

I'd like to make it clear to bitcointalk members that I was born in the UK, but am currently based in Norway. This does not break their ts and cs, and they haven't even given me a chance to prove this.

Re: Bitsler witheld my money for 7 days, with no explanation what so ever

It's a bit worrying that they delayed it, i've had it before with websites but usually resolved within a day.... 7 days seems extremely excessive!

Did they ask you to verify or complete KYC during this time at all? Or had you done it before? Because if they asked you to complete during this 7 day period, could potentially have been them trying to get some extra edge by possibly confiscating your balance if you couldn't fulfill it. Dirty tactic used by almost every casino and unfortunately one that cannot be avoided for those who gamble from restricted territories.

Best Country To Live In For Crypto Casinos?#
by
lothian
on 25/11/2023, 17:52:14 UTC
Hi all!

Ive noticed recently that more and more crypto sites are requesting KYC, and more and more restricted jurisdictions are being added to said sites Ts and Cs. This is a problem for a lot of people on this forum who like to gamble anonymously, and, perhaps use sites that are "blocked" in their home countries.

My question then is, which are the best countries that can access these sites without issues, and pass all KYC checks? I'd love to hear your opinions!

AFAIK UK people have always been able to use BC until recently. Even when the official "bc.game" url was blocked, there were mirror sites like hash.game that still worked. 1 by 1 they were removed though, so now UK players can longer play on BC unless via vpn.

As someone else has mentioned though, their scam list is growing more and more - and I know from personal experience that they are kyc heavy now which is a shame.

Re: VAR Rules and gambling
by

Outcomes being altered by VAR are often a point of contention in such cases. I've seen different takes on rules from several platforms to be honest.
I guess you will have to be more specific.
See the rules of the specific platform you put your bet on, ask their support, and if you feel wronged either because they went directly against their own rules or because there was no specific mention, you can come here and create a scam accusation on the following board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
Thanks - i definitely do feel wronged. They've said they are waiting for a full explanation from their sports provider, but the ts and cs do say that bets with the "wrong score" will be void. It could be argued that the wrong score was on my bet, as it clearly displays 2-2 on the betslip whereas the final score was 2-1.

I've just never seen a bookie NOT void a bet in this instance, unless it's a case of "lets wait until the end and void the winners, but keep the losers". We will see when it goes the other way I guess, I'll be waiting for opportunities to pounce on when a goal is incorrectly given!

So just to be clear, the final result of the match was 2 - 1, and you betting on a draw would have won if it was 2 - 2.

Why are you expecting the VAR decision to not count though?
Bets are settled based on the final score. And if the league sets its final score based on VAR decisions, then there's little the bookie can do.
You can't realistically expect a bookie to not settle a bet at all just because VAR was involved. That would make a lot of other bettors unhappy.

That's correct - but I placed my bet at the time when it was 2-2, at the odds of it being 2-2 at the time (which were 2.05). The goal was ruled out, so it wasn't actually 2-2, and so the odds then went up to 6.0. So my bet was placed on the assumption that the score would be 2-2, at the odds offered for 2-2. Instead, I was royally shafted.

Other sites like 365 and betfair etc all void bets when a VAR decision overturns a goal. So thought I'd ask. Because you are taking the price at the time assuming it will be 2-2, only for it to be overturned and you now stuck with a bummy price.

I'm also wondering if i'd placed a bet on the team winning, instead of the draw, if that would have been void!

VAR Rules and gambling
by

on 24/11/2023, 20:22:48 UTC
Hey all, just looking for some advice really as I feel extremely hard done by with some recent VAR decision.

I was railing a football match and the score was 2-1. The second team then equalised to make it 2-2, and after this I dumped aload of money on the draw at odds of 2.05.

A VAR intervention then happened and the goal was cancelled. The score was reset to 2-1 and the odds of the draw shot up to over 6.0. My bet however was not voided.

Is this normal practice with crypto bookies? Should they have voided it? Should they have offered me the higher odds?

Just looking for people's thoughts as I feel like i've been conned out of $1k usd here, and the casino in question is really not helping as they receive their sportsbook from a provider.

Having an issue with Rollbit atm - I was watching the german bundesliga 2 and the match went 2-2 so i tossed some money on the draw at odds of 2.05.

Then VAR ruled the goal out, so it went back to 2-1. Yet rollbit haven't voided my bet, they decided to keep it accepted at 2.05 despite the score actually being 2-1 and the "true odds" around 6.0.

The game ended 2-1 and they settled my bet as a loser... seems a bit scammy to me? Anyone else had this issue with rollbit and/or any betby sports websites?

Hi Denis

Username is HarnedNi
I log in via email (Ful....@outlook.com) - can send email via pm if needed thanks
Unfortunately, we can only allow you to verify with the details you submitted when registered. Otherwise, we have to put your account on failed KYC and block eventually. However, we will send you the deposit back. Please contact with the support.

Hey Denis, I asked the chat and they told me to make a ticket to change my details - they said it can be done but I had to make a ticket, thats why I was asking here. Have i been misinformed? o.0 They said it was processing, so I assumed it was actually going to be done

Signed up to the site and looks pretty good, I made a deposit and won a little but encountered an issue when trying to withdraw some. Seems like coins is pretty KYC heavy. No problem, but I'm currently unable to KYC as i put spam details upon registration (not anticipating this!).

I've contacted LC and email a few times but had the same robotic response - they're looking into changing my details for me to allow me to verify, but haven't done it yet and it's under review!

Any help on here coins admins? Been over 2 weeks now and it's just a simple change of a field!
