How about Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk)?

In essence, they have a set of tasks that you can perform and you'll be compensated according to the difficulty of the task or how long it takes.

Re: Benefit of vegetarian?
by

I think being vegetarian more than the health benefits also has benefits for the planet and other living things.

If you think about it, animals are very inefficient meat producers (e.g. most of the food energy goes to the brain), so it would just make sense to create the meat (e.g. muscles) in the lab more efficiently. When most people are vegetarian, companies will pursue this goal quicker and will throw in more capital for R&D. Therefore, vegetarianism is the way to go guys.

Hello all,
May I ask why some of my replies get removed although I am replying within the subject !! Thank you in advance for everyone who will reply Smiley
Usually the replies that are removed are of low quality. Meaning that they add very little value to the discussion, if you could provide us with some examples of replies that were removed we can help you further.

I agree with most comments here, it is definitely possible.

Nonetheless, I think if Bitcoin really becomes mainstream then the price will be much higher than that.

Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder?

I think the biggest fear is that some other cryptocurrency dethrones Bitcoin.

Decentralization is here to stay, therefore I think the only issue is to know which cryptocurrency is going to win the race.

Feeling fulfilled I reckon is the secret.

However, happiness is usually a pursue rather than a final stage as humans once they fulfilled one need they start wishing for something else.

Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency

Yesterday the Central Bank of Albania issued a warning about the uncertain and unsafe nature  of cryptocurrencies
They called on people not to get involved. Should we be afraid or the banks are!

I think the banks are still too powerful to be afraid of cryptocurrencies, however I think that if they see potential in them they will work together.

Ripple is a prime example that the banks are looking for opportunities to work together.

All half baked ideas were getting millions in ICOs, this was bound to happen.

I think this market situation is the best thing that could've happened, now people will hopefully do due diligence and be more careful where they put their money.

Re: Plagiarism in Whitepapers, what do you think?
by
lrr
on 15/03/2018, 17:32:36 UTC
Most ICOs and especially bounty campaigns seem to use plagiarized content in some capacity. I rarely read ICOs so can't comment on that but half of them just rehash the same templates or just copy what somebody has already previously posted on their ANN/Bounty thread. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was the same group of people behind half of them as well. Probably too good to be true for scammers to resist so they just keep them running constantly. People keep seeming to give them their money for half-baked ideas so I can't see why they would stop creating them.

You're absolutely correct! Although this project that I was reading has a huge user base, so I assumed the whitepaper would've been of good quality.

It's worrying, and I think the way forward is to try and educate people so they don't fall for these scams as easily.

Plagiarism in Whitepapers, what do you think?
by
lrr
on 15/03/2018, 14:50:04 UTC
Today I was reading a whitepaper trying to do a product review, it is one of the most popular projects if you take into account the telegram users... and the whitepaper has a lot of plagiarised content  Shocked

As a university student this shocks me, as something similar in academia would result in expulsion from the university.

My short video rant here: https://youtu.be/JmVAyC-XFSA

What are your thoughts on this?

Re: How did you get into bitcoin?

I got into Bitcoin through Ethereum  Roll Eyes

The thought I had about Bitcoin was that it was very limited, all you could do with it was to transfer value from A to B. Once Ethereum came with their dApps then it clicked with me that there was much more potential in the blockchain than I thought at first.

Decentralization is here to stay.

Have many new plaftom with advanced technology than Bitcoin. Faster, cheaper, and have many application. I think Bitcoin will die next years !!! Huh Huh

If there is a good thing about cryptocurrencies is that they cannot be killed because they are mostly decentralized.

You could argue that Bitcoin will become worthless, but I found that hard to believe to be honest.

Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now?

I'm not surprised due to the insane increase a few months ago without any fundamentals being changed.

I think the craze caused this long(ish) consolidation... but once the dust settles I think we might see another bull run.
